Must click on a Flash icon in my interactive PDF before I can read it

Hi,
I have been creating an InDesign document with object effects and buttons, that I then exported to SWF.
I then placed the SWF file in a new InDesign document, that I exported to an interactive PDF, to get a fancy looking PDF that my client can place on their website.
My problem is that everytime I open the PDF, I see a white screen with a small Flash icon on the top left of the page, and I need to first click on this icon to activate the Flash elements. Only then can I read the document, and see the differents effects and functions that the document offers.
Not user friendly or professionnal looking.
Does anybody know a fix for that problem?

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

I confront the message "blocked plug-in" on most included windows of safari browser internet sites on my old Macbook running snow leopard 10.6.8. Adobe flash updates are disconnected by Safari before they can be downloaded. Any cure for this?

I don't know if this question has already posted but if not here is my problem: I repeatedly get a blank screen except for the error message "blocked plug in" when browsing in safari and trying to view web page included videos. Is this an Adobe flash player rejection? I keep getting Adobe flash player update messages but when I click download this is blocked by Safari or OS security. Any user-fix out there?

Which Safari? Which Flash? I'm running Safari 5.1.10 (6534.59.10) w/Flash Player 13.0.0.214 and am not getting any of those messages. To get the latest Flash Player, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer, download the latest version, and install it.

HELP! Flashing icon upon start up!

Help! I was on my iMac and I was prompted by my computer to download a security update. I accepted and it downloaded and then prompted me to restart. I let it restart but upon restarting I got a flashing icon I had never seen before. It was a square with a globe in it. Please tell me that it can be fixed!

was surfing on you tube with safari.... got this pop up system notification, that my computer war running slow , and needed to be cleaned.... must click "ok" to begin and follow directions!.... can't get around it. did force quit, and restarted. came back as soon as I opened safari.

Quit or Force quit Safari, then restart Safari while holding the shift key.

When clicking the Signature box in an interactive PDF form IE crashes.

When we click on the Signature box in an interactive PDF form loaded inside Internet Explorer, it will crash the browser with a message "Internet Explorer has stopped working."
We have tried:
-this on PDF forms created with Adobe Acrobat Professional X and XI
-loaded the forms on Windows 7 IE 8 and IE 9
-Adobe Reader X and XI
-loaded IE in no add-ons mode
and the issue still persists. We believe there is an issue with how Internet Explorer and Adobe are communicating but don't understand why clicking inside the Signature box, IE crashes? Any thoughts? Is this related to some kind of Windows update that is impacting the ability to sign PDFs when loaded inside IE browser?

I will not be able to upload any forms as it is propietary information, but here are the steps taken to create the form using Adobe Acrobat Pro X or XI:
Open the PDF in Adobe Pro and click Tools.
In the Forms menu, click Edit.
Click Add New Field > Text Field.
Place the field on the document and edit the field name with the text [MAGICWORD]. This is a magic word that allows the signed form to be saved in the right location.
Click the All Properties link.
Change the Form Field from Visible to Hidden but Printable under Common Properties.
To add other visible magic word fields (optional), click Add New Field > Text Field.
Click Add New Field > Digital Signature.
Click Add New Field > Button.
Click the All Properties link.
Click the Actions tab.
Under Add an Action:
Select Trigger – Select Mouse Down.
Select Action – Select Submit a form.
Click Add.
Enter the URL:(https://anythingcangohere.com)
This enables the signed form to be submitted and saved in the right location.
Under Export Format, select PDF The complete document.
Click OK.
To add a label to the button, click the Options tab.
Label: – Enter Submit to athenaNet or Submit.
Click Close.

When i click on my camera icon it just flashes....I can't go into it

double tap home button and swipe up on hte preview of the camera app to close it then tap home button then:
RESET DEVICE
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu. Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

When DW starts acting weird, the first thing to try is Deleting Corrupted Cache. Be sure to turn on Hidden files & folders in your Windows Explorer.

ITunes library grayed out all the time- in between songs played. Must click on cloud icon and wait between each song played.

Whenever I invoke iTunes (doesn't matter if I'm opening the program or simply undocking it), my library is gray, and the little "cloud icon" next to "Music" has a horizontal lightning bolt in it.
If I click on the cloud icon with the bolt (which doesnt respond consistently, somtimes takes 3 or more clicks) it will change to animated diagonal stripes. When this is finished (takes 10 seconds to 10 minutes), I have access to my library.
Sometimes it lets me get through an album before the process restarts. Sometimes I have to go through this between each song. Generally, I perform the process for the first two songs, and then it will play the rest of the album uninterrupted.
Internet connection is always fine, I have confirmed in several instances.
I have added screen shots below... I couldn't add the "working library" step, because as of writing this, I can't get past step 2. So no music for me this morning.

FYI- I have deauthorized and reauthorized, signed out of my iTunes account, deleted pLists, etc before posting here. None of which affected the problem.

Button clicked flashes but must click again for action

If another panel had focus and I click on a button with the mouse, the button flickers, but the button action does not occur. I must click on the button again to actually get the button to "function".
If I have had additional popup windows open, that are now closed, I must click the desired button, one more times than the number of popup windows (i.e. if 2 popup windows were open, I must click a button on the TestStand operator interface 3 times before the desired action occurs. The button will flicker, giving the operator the false impression that button will respond.
Why is this and how do we fix it?
I have TS 3.0, CVI 7.0 and am runing with Windows XP, SP1.

It looks like that the event/message queue of CVI is not recording events properly. There could be various reasons like the memory, operating system, the CVI code or any other memory resident program. I would recommend the following things:
1) Try using the shipped OI that you used to create your custom OI.
2) Try clicking on the window/pop-up title bar first and then clicking on the button.
3) Try restarting your computer in safe mode.
4) Try running your OI on a different computer.
5) Open the source code in CVI and in the UI check if the events are called properly and the order of the events called.

Hello, when I click on the tray icon..FF opens up. I then click again to open a second FF browser..no new Browser..???

I start my PC click on the FF icon in me lower tray. Browser opens up. I do the same actions again to have a second FF browser beside the first FF and toggle between the two, but it does not open a second FF browser.

Why do I have to click on all of my flash components before I can navigate?

Without modification to the code...the component is there but
it needs to be clicked on before I can navigate the site. Should
Dreaweaver not know how to properly insert the code necessary allow
the flash component to view properly? What am I missing? I know
this is a Deramweaver forum....but the problem does not not seem to
be with Flash, it seems to be in the code that Dreamweaver creates
when the Flash component is inserted.
I have been able to find a work around to my problem but
surely it is not what everyone out there is doing. If
so...Dreamweaver or Flash has a serious bug!
I created a site a while back and everthing worked fine. So I
copied some code from that site to fix the new one. However even
after copying the code I still have to modify it to make it
work..(the modifcations are obvious.) This is suely not the way it
is done all the time.
I have three questions:
1. Why did everything work fine with the first site with no
modifications?
2. Why do I have to copy the code to the other site after
inserting the Flash component?
3. Why does dreamweaver not do it for me? (it did everything
right the other time, but now it doen't even work in the previous
site)
I feel like I must have changed a setting somewwhere that I
did not realize would effect this...Perhaps it is a Dreamwweaver
thing.

1. Some people don't have Flash installed - what do they do?
2. Search engines don't parse Flash links - your site will
not be spidered
3. Screen assistive devices don't parse Flash links - what
will those users
do?
4. DW cannot maintain links within a Flash movie, so if you
move or rename
a linked file, your navigation will break - what will you do?
It's usually a very bad idea for these reasons...

Can't view flash on websites without clicking on word flash

I am on a mac running snow leopard. I just downloaded flash player from Adobe. I installed. It's on my desktop. IF i go to any website that has a flash player image, all I see on the screen is a grey window with the word Flash. If i click on the word, then i see the flash, but it doesnt' happen automatically like it used to on my old g-5 mac.. Why?
also, I want the flash icon off my desktop, where can I put it, do I move it to applications folder?

When you use the Flash Player Uninstaller(need to do) and Reboot(restart your computer) then you need to use the Flash Player Installer to Install it, then Reboot. Flash Player is a browser plugin and works thru your browser. It is not a standalone
Player.
I'm not that familiar with Mac, but the Flash Player icon may represent the Installer? Read the Troubleshooting Guide which may be helpful. I think you could use "Trash" to remove the icon? Not sure, just have read that somewhere.
