Must-Fields in Account Address

Hi together,
I try to set Must-Fields in the Account View (create organisation). I think the fieldgroup is BUP_ADR_DETAIL. In the fieldgroup I see that there is a reference to different fieldgroups. I searched the fields NAME1, BU_SORT1, POST_CODE1, CITY1 and LANGU (for communication).
Some fields I found in the references - but not all?!
I generated the BUP_ADR_DETAIL with the different variations - but I still got no error if I create a BP and I don't see a read star (as mark for must field) beside the field.
Have anybody an idea what my mistake is?
Another question: The field for grouping (number range) is only in list view. In which fieldgroup can I found the field an how to bring it on detail view?

Hi
Goto TCode FS00 and enter your GL Account/company Code
Goto creat/bank/int tab and Identify the FSG
Goto Tcode OBC4 and select your FSV and then select above FSG and check the status of Fields ________________
Goto TCode OME9 and select you AAC and identify the status of Field
Both status are different from each other hence the issue.
Make the status identical and do posting.
Also check at SPRO-Materials Management-Purchasing-Purchase Order-Define Screen Layout at Document Level-.......

Copying Account Address Information to a Contact

Is there a way that the associated Account Address information can be copied to the Contact Address area on a Contact by Contact basis without doing it for all Contacts?
Is there a button or anything that can be pressed on a Contact screen?

Contact Address have two address fields. Account Address field is coming from Account and Contact's Address (which can be different).
I don't think it is possible to populate Account's Address into Contact's Address automatically.

I have a yahoo mail account address - Mail will not work with that?

I tried to mail an email using my Yahoo mail account address. Mail sent it back to me saying that Yahoo rejected it.
Do I just keep using mailing from Yahoo instead of Mail to keep things working?
When I click on an e-mail address Mail does come up as my default mail program. How can I change that back to Yahoo using Safari? I've asked that question of Yahoo, but they just tell me to use Firefox, which I do not want to do. I like Safari and will simply fight the Mail program back if I have to. There must be a way to get it under control though - I hope.
I do use Mail to back up notes from my iPhone. It does work for that just fine.

Here is Mail getting in the way again. I appreciate your information, I downloaded Notifier and got to the point of above, needing to go to preferences in Mail. Mail will not let me go to preferences unless I give Mail an e-maill account to service. I do not want Mail to service an account. Mail is a nasty obtrusive program that wants to be in the driver's seat of my computer system. If I give Mail my gmail account set up again, using that italian program that also is a hack to my system, I will need to do that just to access Mail preferences so I can tell Mail that it is okay to use Gmail?
Something is fishy in Denmark to be sure.
I'm going to delete Notifier.app until I am able to see what gives with Mail.

Later post, I think this post has also taken it that I want to use Mail, Read my many statements, over a dozen by now, that I do not want to use Mail. I want to compose my outgoing mail in GMail. I want GMail to be my default mail program. I wan Apple Mail to Die! (at this point, that seems impossible to accomplish.)
It's simple, but I will repeat and repeat. I simply want to be able to click on a link, like a link in Craigslist to respond to an ad, and have the GMail compose e-mail come up ready to respond to the Craigslist ad.

EVen more frustration now, I tried the notifier icon in the menu bar and selected compose mail and it tried to open up Apple Mail. How can I get rid of Apple Mail and let my system know that I want the GMail account to come up to compose my email in GMail (what I was trying to do with Yahoo until I got nowhere with Yahoo, now I'm trying to see if I can get GMail to work as my default mail program.

Hi,
Login to portal with a user having content administration role.
Navigate to your iview which must be under content provide by SAP(if its a standard iview).
Open the iview and click on preview button.
Then press ctr on keyboard and rightmouseclick on the field for which you want to change.
A popup will open. Change the visibility in the popup and save the changes. This is a way of personalization and it'll be applicable for all the users.

Customer-Fields for accounting

i have a question about adding customer-fields to accounting. According to SAP-Note Note 458591, its easily possible to create additional fields by only create them in append-structures. For me it sounds like you only have to do this and additionally add the new fields to the table BBP_C_ACC_F etc to see the new fields input-ready within the accounting-tab of Purchase Order maintenance etc, like me21n.
Sadly the note is only for SAP SRM. Could anybody tell me if thats also possible for SAP ECC 6.0 ? The problem is, that ECC doesnt seem to have a table like BBP_C_ACC_F mentioned in the note.
Or is the only way to add maintenance of further fields in accounting over new tabs with Badi ?
any help would be appretiated.

Maybe i wasnt able to write down my point, so here i go again.
Theres the standard "Accounting"-Tab within the item-level details of PO-transactions like ME21N. That tab holds informations about the using accounts of the selected order-position (EKPO). Now i need to add one new customer-field to this tab. For this i extended the structure CI_COBL which is included in the structure COBL. That one holds the data for this tab. The structure is extended now - but how do i get this new field onto the displayed Subscreen on that accounting-tab ?
Thats my point. I already tried to do it over generate a new subscreen over SPRO->IMG->MM->Purchase->Accounting->Create Subscreen for Accountingblock and adding the field of COBL by hand but its still invisible on the screen even the subscreen is used. The logic must make it invisible.
Can anyone help me out and give me some hints on that ?

ATT Mcell, address doesn't match account address

I got a text with similar content to the title of this post a few days ago. My Mcell has been set up for three years, and suddenly it went down and I have no reception in my home anymore. I looked through a few forums, and found that this problem is common and is due to an issue on ATT's end with the registration process and servers. A new Microcell won't fix it, since the issue is not with the device but with the servers that handle the device. I need this issue fixed ASAP, so I am posting here for further assistance.

I am a professional computer nerd and manage quite a few microcells, both older orange/white and new black.
While there might be a glitch in the reg system, the norm is that there is no requirement regarding the account address and the microcells physical location.
I have microcells on accounts with account address in Los Angeles or other major cities, but the microcells are physically located in Colorado, Montana, Hawaii, etc, (caveat: as long as ATT is authorized to provide service at the microcells location.)
One trick I use in rural locations when I get an address mismatch issue, is I use Apple Maps, Google Maps, or similar internet mapping site on my smart phone or tablet, with GPS enabled. I let it "tell me" what address it believes I am located at, and use that as the microcell location.
Sometimes it is right on the money, other times, it tells me that I am quite far from the address I think I am at. ie: the entry gate to the property is 1234 Any Canyon Road, but by the time you get to the house, it thinks we are at 1456 Any Canyon Road. The GPS and the county (or USPS) address fairies don't always use the same numbering standards. (I know that somebody somewhere must be shocked at this revelation!)
Generally rural fire and police/sheriff know the area well, and after the microcell is active, you can always contact your local agency 911 coordinator and ask them to put notes into the 911 system that if the get a cellular 911 call at 1456 Any Canyon Road, the entrance gate is actually at 1234 Any Canyon Road.
Not sure if this helps your situation, but I know some people that have encountered this same issue.

Getting HTTP 400 while creating field in Account using Eloqua REST 2.0 API.

I tried to create field in Account using /API/REST/2.0/assets/account/field, but got HTTP 400-"Request contains a message that does not conform to the contract."

As mentioned in API, permissions is of type InstancePermissions and has valid values as read,write and fullControl.

I want to know How to apply OSS Note 2596, The basic requirement is to to add entries in the list of possible fields in Account assignment model( Exactly in program SAPDFKA6 in screen 120).
I found the note 2596 to achieve this, and the field that I want to add is KMZEI-PAOBJNR.

Some of our accounts can have several addresses (5 or 6 store locations) and I didn't succeed to display them in my report.

What subject area are you using? You should be able to get all the addresses from the Account Addresses subject area.

Adding a new field to the Address Data for a business partner

Hi Experts,
I am trying to add a new custom field to the address data (all structures and tables) that is linked to a business partner on SAP CRM via EEWB. Structure is the address structure wthin BUS_EI_EXTERN. Table is BUT020. I have been told that it is not possible as there is no Business Object that allows this. When doing an EEWB, the only business object is BUPA, which when selected, adds the new custom field to BUT000. I would like the field to be added to BUT020 (Address Table). This leads me to believe that there is no standard way of doing this, which ultimatley means that it would need to be done manually. Please help me with this predicament.

The search help exit allows you to modify functionality of search help. If you add a new field to the
parameter list that is not contained on the selection method you can manually populate it within the search
help exit.
This would be performed within the u2018STEP DISPu2019 section. Once within this section all search help
data has been retrieved and is stored in table RECORD_TAB (record_tab-string) as one long string value.
Therefore you need to read table SHLP in-order to locate position of value within string.
Example:
To find position of personnel number (PERNR) within elemenory search
help M_PREMN you would use the following code:
Loop at record_tab.
     read table shlp-fielddescr into wa_shlp
                                   with key tabname   = 'M_PREMN'
                                            fieldname = 'PERNR'.
You could then use this information in the following way, for

Custom field in Account Partners Edit page

Need to display a new custom field in Account Partners Edit page. We are not able to find the object definition of "Account Partners" which we can edit. Is option of adding a custom field in Account Partners Edit available in CRMOD? Will enabling "Partner Relationship Management" help in this regard?

At this time it is not possible to add a custom field in the Account Partners Edit. I would recommend submitting a enhancement request to CRM On Demand customer care.
