MUST I HAVE OSX 10.7.4 for CC to work? I mean I can log in and download all these gorgeous looking applications, but Illustrator won't open - It just keeps crashing - and Photoshop won't use some filters saying "You don't have permissions..." or "Photoshop can't save your preferences..."

Usually the HDD is the frist place to look. Use the original install disk and start up the MBP with the C key down. Go through the installation process until you see on the display a menu bar on top.
Click on UTILITIES.
From the drop down menu select Disk Utility.
Open Disk Utility>First Aid and run Verify and Repair.

My iPod touch 4th generation says on the screen to connect to iTunes. When i connected it to iTunes, it says i must restore my ipod for it to work. However, I have over 6,000 pictures that I've taken over the past two years that i do not want to lose. What do I do? I already tried resetting it by holding down the home/power button, that doesn't help.
Elitegate, the poster siad his iPod has the Connect To iTune screen, You can't backup the iPod when in that mode.

Do you have to ID the field for autotab to work?
I have a form with text fields I'm using to caputre dates of service. It has the following fields
Month1, Day1, Year1, ToMonth1, ToDay1, ToYear1. They are each set to a max char value of 2.
I would like the PDF to AutoTab to the next field when the current one has reached its max.
I found the following code:

This code works, but I need to add a keystroke script to every text field. And in the example, I have Month1, Day 1, Year1... well, the actual form goes up to Month11, Day11, and Year11.
Coding each field with a custom script, naming the next field to auto tab to.... this seems tedious. Is there a way to modify the code, so rather than defining what field to autotab to next, it should look at the tab order, and go to the next one without having to specifiy it specifically.
Is there a way to code it, so it autotabs to the field next on the tab list? Or must the field it autotabs to be specifically identified in each instance of the script.
Thanks very much in advance.No. Part of the problem is the tab order is dynamic since it depends on the read-only and display state (hidden or not) of the fields, which can change at any time via scripting.
You could come up with a field naming convention that could help, making it possible to determine the next field name based on the name of the field that called the script. Or you can set up an object or implement a linked list to specify the custom order, and the script could look up the next field based on the current field, but it might be simpler to just hard code the field names. -

I'm not sure if this will help you or not and you may have tried it already. But, I was having problems with my 20gb ipod (same one you have) and tried everything, including taking it to a local repair shop and even considered just chucking it. Then I read in one of these posts to simply reboot my computer. So I did and guess what, it worked. I felt like such an idiot but sometimes the simplest fixes are the ones you overlook. I don't know if itunes 7 needed a reboot or if there was a problem because other users (my wife) were logged into their user accounts also, but try doing that.

How many times do i have to restore my phone for it to work? at 5th restore in 2 weeks
updated to ios 6 and have had nothing but problems, works for a few days then have to restore, it is sitting beside me with apple logo blinking and unresponsive ( insert ex-wife name here) am i missing something or do i have bigger problems with my phone?
Restore as NEW, NOT from backup. If that doesn't work, bring your phone in for evaluation.

Every time I touch my Iphone 4s a box appears around whatever I touch and Siri tells me what I am touching and I have to double tap it to bring the app up. It also won't let me scroll up or down and scrolling sideways is difficult.

Do I really have to submit billing info for genius to work? I dont buy songs on itunes, and i only want it to make me playlists. It worked on my cousins laptop without having to do billing info,etc.

Creating a Genius playlist
You can have iTunes create a playlist from songs in your library that go great together.
Before you can create a Genius playlist, you must turn on Genius (the instructions are included below). To turn on Genius, you must be connected to the Internet.
To create Genius playlists, iTunes uses anonymous information about your library and other iTunes libraries.
1. *Select a song in your library* and click the Genius button at the bottom of the iTunes window.
2. If you haven’t turned on Genius yet, click Turn On Genius.
If you are trying to make playlists from audio tracks you have imported from CD's, or downloaded music from anywhere but iTunes, then no, you cannot access the Genius Bar. That is for music you have purchased from iTunes only. That is why it's requiring Apple ID in order to use the Genius Sidebar.

When you create an iCloud account you get a me.com address (or use an existing one if you are currently using MobileMe). If you want your email forwarded from an existing email account you will have to set that up with your current email provider.

Fingers must linger on the keyboard letters in order for it to work
I had previously made a mistake and disabled my keyboard via the terminal program and long story short I had to connect an external keyboard for a little bit until I restarted my laptop, therefore enabling my keyboard again.
Now, when I was using the external keyboard, it did work but I had to type very slowly as I had to make my fingers linger on every key for it to work. I thought that was because there's something wrong with the keyboard.
And now that I'm back to using my laptop's keyboard, it works the same as the external keyboard. That is, the buttons must be pressed much longer than usual for it to work.
Also, these pop up at the top of my screen when the shift and/or command buttons are pressed.
Is there a way to get it back to normal? This took me 30 minutes to type. I need my keyboard back to normal asap.System Preferences, Accessibility, Keyboard.

IM app for Playbook that works with iPhones?

So, there has to be something seeing how it's set up for Sirius, and there was a CRADLE and since SIRIUS is offering a program soon for the iPhone, and its coming from Sirius, there must be a manufature that is planning on a cradle.
On the current cradle, there is a LINE OUT and one other (not line in) which looks like (both) are the 1/8th mini jack(s), same as iPhone.
Ideas besides cigarette lighter? Does anyone have a cigarette lighter method for 3G that works without noise? Or where else can I post, look?

Not sure where to begin but apparently, Sirius is planning on a an APP for the iPhone for Sirius that said "NO HACKING REQUIRED" - does that mean that SIRIUS could be hacked into the iPhone?
Anyway, that's not really my question but free Sirius would be nice but will pay for it if it works.
