Mutiproviders are not transported-Urgent

Hi,
Can you anyone please help me why multoproviders are not getting transported.
It is giving error message " Dimeniosn not defined".
Can you please help me in this regard.

Hi,
I hope you would have activated the multicube again and again trying this transport.....you can go inside the multicube and chcek if the multicube after activation in the active state or modified state.....it should appear in active state.....
also it seems one of the underlying cubes dimension has changed in the new system during the time of creation of the multicube and therfore your dimensions in you multicube are no longer valid.....just check it once.

KM content exoport with ICE: External Links are not transported

Hi,
We have to move KM content from DEV->QUA->PRD, so we've set up ICE. ICE is working without any problem. All Objects are transported, but there is an exception,External Links are not moved. (Internal Links are transported correctly!)
We are using Portal 2004s (sap.com/SAP-JEECOR 7.00 SP8, sap.com/SAP-JEE 7.00 SP8)
We tried it with Portal Drive, but External Links are not possible to be copied. (I can see the file for a short time(1-2 sec) in the target folder, but after refresh it disappears from the folder.)
Does anyone have experienced such an issue, do you know any ideas to resolve this problem?
Any help is greatly appretiated

Hierarchy Transfer Strucutre & Transfer Rules are not transported to QA sys

I have one master data infobject. And i loaded the text , attribute, hierarchy data from Flat file.
I need to transport it QA system . I did it.
But when i checked in QA system. It says that "HIERARCHY TRANSFER STRUCUTRE" is not avaialbel in Qa system .
So how can i transport the "Hierarchy Transfer Strucutre & Transfer Rules" to QA ssytem .

transaction SM59 / R/3 connections; you should see your system there.
double click and Test connection.
then menu/test/authorization.
if you have transported stuff already then it is most likely because of your flat file source system.... Ensure that they're defined exactly the same way in your DEV and PROD! Right click this source system and perform a CHECK and/or RESTORE and/or ACTIVATE.
Partner profiles should also be similar. Transaction WE20 / Partner type LS / your flat file sys.
Finally ensure that your prod sys can access your flat file the same than your DEV!
did you already import TRules from with flat file?

LSO- Course Groups and Course Types are not displayed in Spanish

We are having issues with the
data like Course Groups and Course Types not being displayed in
Spanish on the Learning Iview.
The Data in the Course Catalog is loaded in Spanish and
English and I can see the Course Catalog in Spanish when logging on in Spanish in the back end.
SAP asked us to apply few notes as below
#1247020 OTR: Texts are not transported
#448220 OTR: Text is not determined/incorrect text is displayed
We have applied the above as well and we had no solution.
However the Problem is NOT related to Texts/Labels as these are displayed in Spanish.
The Problem is related to the data like Course Groups and Course types not being displayed in Spanish in the front end.
SAP also came up with the below which did not help either.
The system will pick the language texts in the sequence
maintained in the view T778L. If the system does not find text in
login langauge , the application will search in the sequence
maintained in the view T778L .Therefore you can change the sequence
of the languages in the above view as per your requirement.
Let me know if anyone has a solution to this or has encountered the same problem.

Is this production or is this in a development system? The dropdown displayed comes from the standard tables. If it's working in development system and not in production, then the chances are higher that the translation didn't go through.

Maintain Controlling Area Settings:
In development server i maintained PCA controlling area settings like "Standard Hierarchy, PCt Local Currency Type '.
after i we transported to testing server these are not transported all other are transported.
can you plz explain on this. and give me solution.

These parameters are not included automatically in transport; you have to include them manually via 0KEP and 0KEQ transactions.

P Req. Release Strategy not Transported

Hi,
For Configuring the Purchase Requsition Release Strategy, We have Created Characteristics and Class in the Configuration Development Client. Created Release Groups, Assigned Release Codes with the Release Group, and Assigned Release Group with Release Strategy with Classification. Tested PR Release Strategy for the given Classification Values the Release Strategy triggered.
We have Created same Charateristics and Class in the Testing Development Client (Since the Characteristics and Class are not Transportable). Transported Release Groups, Release Codes and Release Strategy from Configuration Development Client to Testing Development Client. When we check the Release Strategy Classification in the Testing Developmemnt Client, system showing Classification Error.
Please let us know whether the Release Strategy Classification Requests are Transportable or not.

Dear Ravi,
The Release Strategy Configurations can be transported, in respect to the requests transported.
But the assignment of the Characteristic Values to the respective classes needs to be done in respective destination clients. Since teh assignment will get transported.
To Do the same, please use transaction CL24N, Enter the classes Used in your release strategy and assign the respective Characteristics Values.
Hope this will serve the need.

Reports are not run in WAN using OAS10g R2 on MS Server2003? urgent help

My Forms and Reports was run successfully using Oracle AS10gR2 installing on Win XP on Server in my LAN and WAN environment. So every thing is working fine using Win XP on my server Machine.
But when I install MS Server 2003 and Oracle AS10gR2 on my server machine. Forms and reports are run successfully in LAN but in WAN forms are run successfully and reports are not running?
Please send me the solution on urgent.

Just set up a new WebLogic 10.3.2 domain and I am seeing this while starting the Admin Server:

I followed the instructions given under " Configure the RDBMS security store " ( Step 6 ) and restarted my Server. :-
+6. In the section labeled Server Synchronization Configuration, specify the appropriate settings for JNDI and JMS so that the RDBMS security store can cache database information in memory correctly. If the RDBMS is running in more than one JVM -- for example, the domain has multiple servers, or other Oracle products are sharing the same RDBMS store with the new domain -- these caches must be synchronized to ensure the integrity of the security data.+
To configure server synchronization:
+1. Specify a JNDI user name and password. This can be any valid user in the security realm who has access to JNDI.+
+2. Create a JMS topic. You may reuse an existing one, if desired. For information, see Configure topics.+
Caution: Failure to configure JMS notifications in a multiserver domain in which the RDBMS security store is configured may result in a security vulnerability.

Changes are not reflected when objects transported from Quality to Productn

Hi
In case of moving some Transport requests from Quality to Production, some times the changes made to the selection screen of a report program doesn't reflect in Production. Also we don't see any Transport error while transporting. Moreover, we can see the changes by regenerating the Program in production.
Would any one help me out in this with the reason for this.
Pls suggest what needs to be done.

- I have checked the respective transport too, and every thing seems to be fine.
- Recently we went to go live, for the next release, so earlier before go live, we didnt faced any proble.. Only now we are facing this problem, that we find the changes relating to selection screen are not reflected when the object / prog is moved from qty to Prd.
- Only problem is with the selection screen.(not getting reflected in PRD. In Qty we are able to see those changes.
- Then in order to reflect these changes in PRD, we have to re generate the object, then only it get s updated..

Changes are not reflecting in QA after transport

Hi Everyone,
I am having an issue with the transport in PI. After making the changes in development, i exported the tpz file to Quality. The changes got reflected. Then for testing purpose some changes were done in the Quality IR. Now i again exported the tpz file from dev to QA. But the same changes are not reflecting.
Has anyone faced such a problem? Need your help experts.

Check in IR > Environment> cache status overview. Is it in green status??
Check if the import of .tpz file is successful in quality IR??
>>Then for testing purpose some changes were done in the Quality IR
Also, check if there are any conflicts in the IR of quality system??

Changes after transport are not reflecting in QA and Production

Hi All,
We changed two table settings in developemnt system table names are ALMBCADM & ALMBCDATA.
We modified the table technical settings as "buffering allowed but de-activated". After we transported the change requested in QA Prod enviornment ,the changes are not getting reflected in the systems. Technical settings in both the systems are still showing as "Buffering is switched off". What could could be the reason behind this???????

Which I suppose is correct.

I'm transporting a request contains the values from table
V_T510F_B Assign Pay Scale --> Currency from Developement to Quality but it is not reflected in Quality server?

Please make sure that tables are not opened in both source and destinaiton server, as it will hold the locks on objects,
Seconldy , sometimes it takes few minutes to reflect on the target server, wait for sometime then check the changes,
Check the transport logs to make sure your request transported successfully.
Take the above precautions and reimport the request.

Transporting reports are not overwritten

Problem related to Transportation:
I transported some reports from DEV to QA. After that I made some changes on the transported reports and again I transported with another request, but those reports are not overwritten.
can you please post some points how can I solve this..

Have you released the early transport request.
After doing changes in reports have you activated all and saved in request.check it.
Try to collect all in Transport connection in one request once again and transport the same to QA.
Let us know status....

After transporting changes are not happening

As per the requirement we need a change in the pricing procedure ZJEXPS
(Export Sales Switch). We made the changes in transaction code V/08.
But after transporting the request to quality server, changes are not reflecting there.
I had checked the request number all the tasks are there and transport was completed with warning.
our consultant created another request and then also after transporting changes are not reflecting.
How it is happening particular to this request?
How to trace this? Kindly suggest me.
(Ours is two system landscape with master client 009 and quality client 007.I am trying to transport to 007)

Check the import logs. If you are getting warnings that original objects cannot be replaced. You need to import the change request in unconditional mode. During performing imports select option, overwrite originals.
Some times the requests contain the objects, which are original to the target system, e.g SAP standard objects.
Check if this could help you.

Hello Mario,
1. If you are working with old level of kernel and transport tools (tp and R3trans). if yes update these immediately.
2.if transport tools are new and updated then the problem is due to Buffer Synchronization :
After the transport, the changes are not done in the database level and not reflecting immediatly in the TCODE. And after some you are able to see the changes.
If this true, the the problem may the sync of the buffers. Try by executing /$sync after import. Which resets the buffer and next start of tcode buffers the program again.
Please check the settings of the profile parameter rdisp/bufrefmode is as per the note 1163741.
"If the changes are there after some time, then this is most probably a buffering issue. rdisp/bufreftime and bufrefmode can be checked but also DDLOG issues might be relevant.
Check whether the following parameters are set correctly.
rdisp/bufrefmode = sendoff, exeauto
rdisp/bufreftime = 60 (or less)
