Muvo N200 auto-resume?? (for audio boo

Greetings,
Does the Muvo N200 automatically resume playback from where it left off after power off? How about after changing the battery? I'm planning on using the N200 for audio books, so the resume feature is very important.
Any other comments on using the N200 for audio books?
Thanks in advance...

After considerable research, I have figured out the problem, re: RESUME on the N200. Evidently, the problem is with Audible Files. 90 percent of the Audible files I have downloaded have retained the RESUME function; but two recent files did not. That may be Audible's fault, or it may flow from disconnecting the USB too soon--before the file transfer is complete.
I confirfmed this by testing other Audible files where the RESUME function worked; and on MP3 and WMA files, where RESUME also worked without a hitch.
Hope this hel
ps.

  • How to add auto play for audio in ibooks author?

I cannot seem to get the low-down on how to add auto play for audio in ibooks author. I would like the audio to play when the reader opens the page?
    Thanks!

There is no option for autoplay on page turn. There is no option for autoplay, only loop.

  • MuVo N200 auto-shut d

I bought my MuVo N200 player 2 or 3 months ago. Recently, I found that it would auto shut down when it try to jump to next track. And when I try to skp to next track, the same problem occurred.
I actually formated the player and reload music tracks. Unfortunately, the prolem is still there. What should I do to correct this?

I wonder what is happened as I just use it as normal, voice record & play loaded soundtracks. The problem simply came up so suddenly.
    sasalove,
You got the same problem before?

  • I really need help with my creative MuVo N200 mp3 pla

i got my MuVo N200 mp3 player for chirtmas of last year, and it stopped working in 3 months. it used to shut off every few minutes and the mic doesnt work any more and i cant record music from the radio. right now it doesnt even work for a minute, it shuts off as soon as i try and turn it on. i emailed creative when it first started happening and they sent me a email saying what to do on there website, something about downloading something. i tryed it and it didnt work, im not sure if i didnt do it right. And right now i have no idea what to do. and creative won't help me unless i pay them money to fix it for me which im not about to do. has anyone have the same problem with the MuVo N200 mp3 player? what am i suppose to do to fix it's I still have there email telling me what to do, but i just dont get how to do it and if it will work. It only worked for me 3 months, and now im mad and thinking about buying a new one thats not from creative but i really want to try fixing it again to see if it will work. please help me.

Good question, unfortunately I have absolutely no idea. Reflashing/-formatting generally takes care of the usual cases of wonkyness this player develops, and there isn't anything more drastic you as a user could do.
Do you have a directory named "Recorded Tracks" on your player? Should be created automatically, but if it isn't you could try creating it manually...

  • Music Balance Problem -MuVo N200 Micro

I've had my MuVo N200 Micro (GB) for about a year now and its been fine all this time. But recently is had a problem where certain tracks will only play in the right earphone. I've change earphones, unloaded and reloaded all my music and its still the same. Some tracks are OK, but most of them play on right phone at reduced sound level. I don't think anything is physically wrong with it. Can anyone help me out here?
    Many thanks

To put the player in recovery mode, you first need to have the driver installed on your pc. Use the link I gave to download the driver. Next you need to remove the battery from the player, and hold down the start button while connecting the player to the pc. Don't let go of the start button until the player is recognized by the pc.

  • MuVo N200: recording fidelity and bit-rate for podcasts

    Hi,
My plan is to use my MuVo N200 for recording podcasts--I'm wondering what the fidelity and bit rate is for the line-in recording capability.
Is it 64k bps? Something else?
Any one else using the line in?
    Thanks,

  • MUVO N200 Bookmarking inside fold

    <SPAN>Hi,
<SPAN>I have a Muvo N200, and am pretty happy with it - except for the problem with heaphones and screen light interference. But when I'm using it, there's a feature I'd like to have. When switching between folders (for example audiobook to music album) I'd like that the player remembers where I was in that folder. For music it's OK (even though I always hear the beginning...), but for audiobooks, it's annoying having to forward through the files and inside the file to where I left off.
<SPAN>Does anyone if it's possible to bookmark where I left? <SPAN>Thanks.

The tecnical support at Creative replied back to my query, so I leave the anwer here for future reference:
With the MUVO N200 it will remember the stopping point of the audio file
that you were playing if you turn off the unit then turn it back on.
However it will not remember the stopping point between several files.
Now depending on your audio books you may be able to make chapters so
that you do not have to manually forward through you the hole file. If
you have any more questions please let us know.

  • Muvo N200's recording co

I'm very interested in the Muvo N200 for doing field recording, but I need to know the encoding format that it uses when recording via the line in port (and via the mic if they're different).
    Thanks,
    Jim

I'm using the N200 to record li've sessions of my band, and have definitely had clipping problems. Clipping behavior is hard to diagnose but my inspection of the waveform is showing a numerical overflow Here's a <A HREF="http://moebi.us/misc/MuVoN200Clipping.gif]pic of a sample waveform[/url].
If there is an overflow or clip indicator, it disappears after it happens, which is the incorrect behavior as far as I'm concerned. A Clip indicator on a recording device like this should probably stick around until you've either pressed a button or stopped recording (perhaps this could be a toggle.) Most audio software I've used has the same paradigm. The only other alternati've is to have a level meter with clipping-hold peaks.
But I'd like to see the clickless firmware upgrade a bit sooner first.

  • New Muvo N200 - Should I upgrade firmwar

Just got a new Gb Muvo N200 and looking at the settings it is version ..0
Should I upgrade the firmware as I believe there is a newer version.
I havent experienced any pops or crackles yet but it is new and I havent listened to more than 5 minutes

    BognorRocks,
The new firmware listed some fixs and added support for Audible audio. If your not having problem with the player and audible audio support is not needed at your end then it's not needed.

  • Having stopped audio with a swf inside a sidelet can someone create a swf that will resume the audio

Ok, rick is going to post the fla of this file and I will
post the swf. Basically this is all about having a slide that has
audio running all the way through and enabling the user to roll
over a sidelet and have the video and audio stop playback.
At present, the max you can achieve is, to stop video. The
audio keeps going and of course everything gets out of
sync. Rick has create a swf that you input into a sidelet (
after having imported your image or video ) which stops the audio.
Fantasitc. Unfortunatly he was not successful in creating a swf
    that will resume the audio.
So there is the mission. To create something that will resume
the audio, be it a swf inside the sidelet or something else.

Hi there paul. Am I right in thinking that your code will
mute the audio. In my situation this would cause problems becasue
you would roll over the sidelet - the audio would go silent and
when you rolled off, or resumed the audio, it would have been
playing so again the video and audio will be out of sync.
Rick - rather than another swf which would activate the audio
and video when you roll off the sidelet ( while that is the perfect
solution ) what about looking at a button the user can press to
resume things, maybe Im wrong but that sounds a little easier.
( however for all those reading this that is not really the
solution I am looking for, what Im looking for is the above
solution where you can just roll off and on and so on )

  • Muvo n200-not find by

    hello
I got a big problem with my muvo N200. When I connect it through usb to pc it's not recognized.the picture which shows that player is connected to pc is not appearing. I can't upgrade the firmware and do anything with usb. I tried this on other pc's and different usb cables....where's the problem?

Try this:?http://forums.creative.com/creativel...ssage.id=23264?Read posts 3 and 4. Several N200 owners have gotten satisfaction from this, e.g.,?http://forums.creative.com/creativel...d=00348#M62247?I occasionally come back here to check on N200 failures, because Creative just won't put this in their FAQ, I guess they feel they have to see it work for themselves. Even the uber-posters won't acknowledge this fix discovered by AB84. Hope it works for you, as it has for several of us.

  • Muvo N200 - What is it called

Was going to update my MUVO N200 on the firmware, and am unable to find it. I see that Creative renamed everything (lovely), so I can't find my player on that list of drivers anymore. Anyone know what they renamed it to?
And why do they pull this kind of stuff? Really, it just makes it more confusing for me as a consumer to figure out what I need.

On the downloads page it may be called the MuVo Micro - it's full title is MuVo Micro N200 but that seems to get shortened to either MuVo Micro or N200 depending on which region you are in.
It has been superceded by the Zen Nano Plus but don't use any downloads specifically for that player.

  • Muvo N200 switching o

Hi, My Muvo n200 switches off when I scroll through my music folders. I have had the player for 3 days and it was ok at first.
Now when I switch it on, go to skip folder and scroll through the folders it just switches its self off.
It is not the battery. Also some times I switch on and light comes on , I get the CREATIVE logo followed by muvo n200 logo then it switches off .
Is there a fix for this problem or do I have a dud ?
I can scroll through the options menu ok.
    Thank you for any help.
    Mike

    Mike,
Try formatting it and loading the new firmware onto it. If it's still the same, you should contact Customer Support as there could be a problem with your player.

  • MuVo N200 and Mac

Hi, hopefully someone can help me?!
I've recently got a MuVo N200. I'm having a bit of trouble adding songs to it though, and am wondering whether it's because I have a Mac instead of a PC. It does seem to work with iTunes, as I have managed to add some songs, but for some reason, it won't let me fill the memory. It gets so far, and then won't add anymore. It tells me 'there is not enough room on media module "built-in" to copy all of the requested files', and refuses to add anymore, yet the display shows that the memory is nowhere near full.
It was suggested to me that perhaps certain files were corrupt, as some songs could be added, while others not. However, after deleting all tracks and trying again (on several different occasions), songs which hadn't previously worked, did, while others which had, didn't. All very confusing.
If anybody knows of what I'm talking about, and might be able to tell me what the problem could be I'd be really grateful.
    Thanks.

I am not a Mac user, but I had a similar problem when I first started transferring files to my MuVo N200. I was only able to store up to around 450 MB to 460 MB of music files out of 52 MB. When I used the customized "Explorer" program that Creative offers for Windows, the problem was resolved. Does the MuVo N200 include any Mac software? Anyways, hope someone can help you get around this.

  • Disable/Override Auto-detect for displays

i have a mini serving as the head for my media center. if i plug it into the HDTV via a DVI->HDMI cable it works just fine. detects the HDTV display options perfectly.
but what i would like to do is plug it into my receiver, where all the rest of my audio and video can go as well. that way i just have one video out to the tv for all my sources.
the problem is that when i plug it into the receiver i get generic display options on the mac (none of the HDTV resolutions) and the receiver doesn't know what to do with them. nothing is passed back out to the TV.
various cables, resolutions, and third-party software for playing with video output options have been tried. i'm hoping that, if there is a way to disable auto-detect for displays, i can output 720P/1080i as such and the receiver will recognize it and send it out to the TV.

    Hi,
Thanks for posting your issue in the forum.
Regarding the current issue, I suggest we could refer to the following similar threads to disable Automatically detect settings via Group Policy. They may be useful to us.
