Muvo TX FM / N200 Size Compari

Hello
I currently have a Muvo 28 and like it quite a bit. However I would like to upgrade to a player with more memory. I am wondering how the size of the two units compare. I realize the N200 is a one piece design, but I do not want something that is too tiny, which means I may go with a TX FM.
Also, I noticed some of the "shells" which can be purchased separately for the NX,TX line seem to be out of stock, are they discontinued. Lastly, is the TX FM discontinued?
Regards
Randy

here are the sizes:
TX and TX FM: 36.7 x 74 x 6 mm
Micro N200: 33.5 x 65.5 x 3 mm
I would suggest to draw them on a piece of paper and cut it out.
The TX FM is not discontinued, as far as I know. You can still buy it in many stores, the firmware was updated 3 days ago and creative still sells the battery-holders for it. And on one of creatives site they wronte something about a GB version of the TX FM, maybe it will be available in the future, I didn't see it in any store yet.
Remember: the N200 does not have a built in USB-plug, so you need a cable for it. This does not apply for the TX, TX FM and the V200. They have a two-part -design (with battery-holder) and do not need a cable.

  • How to view image size compared to Page size

    In previous versions if you clicked the bottom left onthe frame of an image where the document size is you would get a small popup of an outline of the image size compared to the current page size. I cannot figure out how to see this in the new CS4 version. I've tried everything, help!

    Hello Heiko,
    I don't know, if it is possible, but I would say,
    it's not implemented yet. Maybe you can change the picture size and use then the pictures, that might be a workaround, if you can't change the height and width in VC.

  • Logo with percent size compared with the image

    Hello everyone
    I want to ask if there is any way to make a script that place a logo AND the size of that logo has a specific percent size (lets say 10%)
    compared with the one of the two axis of the image (lets say according to the image height).
    This is because I use to crop and reframe my photos. At the end of the edit I run my logo batch and of course every logo has different size
    compared with the size of the photo…
    Thank you all

  • MBP size compared to MB/12" Powerbook

    Hi
    was just wondering how much bigger a new MBP is compared to a macbook or a 12"powerbook. i owned an old 12" powerbook and loved its size as it was so portable. anyone who has owned or used a smaller notebook and has also used a MBP 15", how much bigger are 15" MBP's compared to mb in size and are they not as easy to carry around to college at home etc.
    Thanks

    Im not so sure about they 15inch, MBP but i know my 17inch gets warm to - hot depending on what i am doing, itunes, and surfing the web i can leave it on my lap, sometime i use a cooling pad just so im not cutting off the airflow. Under someload the notebook can get hot only above the F-keys, from what i understand its like this on the 15inch, but the whole body gets a bit warmer. I was worried about the same issuses and i have found that i can live with this computer being warm, it would be nicer if it was cooler but its not that big of a deal.
    Btw using coreduo temp i run between 50C as warm and 74C hot so its not to bad.

  • JPEG file sizes compared to PS.

    Hi there folks
    I've noticed that the file sizes when exporting from Aperture2 to jpg are considerably different to the same files exported from Photoshop.
    For example one image which was set to jpeg compression level 5 with DPI of 240 came out as 1.4mb whereas in photoshop the same image came out as 500kb.
    Has anyone else noticed this and are there any settings I can check to see if there is something causing this?
    Thanks for your help
    Graeme

    Yeah it seems to vary from about 70-100% bigger depending on the image. I was wondering if it was something to do with the metadata that's included. I always include my metadata because I am shooting for a news agency, but maybe it's the way that it stores it in the file????
    I want to keep using Aperture as much as possible because I have the uberupload plugin as well and it means I can fire stuff straight through to the agency from aperture by FTP without any other apps and makes my workflow a lot quicker.
    Has puzzled me.

  • Two arraylists with different size, compare them!

    I Have a major problem now.
    I have two text files that I read and split.
    TableA:
    AT1G01710.1     1     425     427     SKL
    AT1G16730.1     1     200     202     SKL
    AT1G20480.1     1     563     565     SKL
    AT1G20510.1     1     544     546     SKL
    AT1G20560.1     1     554     556     SKL
    AT1G20560.2     1     476     478     SKL
    TableC:
    AT1G01710.1
    AT1G16730.1
    AT1G20480.1
    AT1G20510.1
    AT1G20510.2
    AT1G20560.1
    AT1G20560.2I have a database with the values in TableC. In table A I am interested in the 4th "column", The values before SKL. As you see; AT1G20510.2 doesn't exist in TableA. So for those values that does not exist in Table A, I just want to a add a null value. I want this output:
    AT1G01710.1 \t 427
    AT1G16730.1 \t 202
    AT1G20480.1 \t 565
    AT1G20510.1 \t 546
    AT1G20510.2 \t null
    AT1G20560.1 \t 556
    AT1G20560.2 \t 478This is my code:
    // Reads table C.
    while ((line_tableC = br_tablec.readLine()) != null) {
         c_list.add(line_tableC);
    // c_list size = 6
    // Reads table A, and split around tabs and add "column" 4 to a list (list_size_aa).
    while ((line_tableA = br_tablea.readLine()) != null) {
         a_tab_split = line_tableA.split("\\t", -1);
         a_list.add(a_tab_split[0]);
         list_size_aa.add(a_tab_split[3]);
    // a_list size = 5
    // Problem 1: a_list is smaller than c_list
    for (int i = 0; i < a_list.size(); i++) {
              if (a_list.contains(c_list.get(i))) {
              x.add(list_size_aa.get(i));
             else {
         x.add("null");
           System.out.println(c_list.get(i) + "\t" + x.get(i));With this code I get this output:
    AT1G01710.1 \t 427
    AT1G16730.1 \t 202
    AT1G20480.1 \t 565
    AT1G20510.1 \t 546
    AT1G20510.2 \t null
    AT1G20560.1 \t 478
    AT1G20560.2 \t 709Do you see the problem? In the output I get AT1G20560.1 with the corresponding value 478, but it should be 556! This is because when a_list doesn't contain a string from c_list, a null value will be added to x, and i will be incremented. Its hard to explain, maybe you see it better than I am to explain.
    How can I solve this?
    Best regards, knx

    Last for loop should be based on table C data. In this loop your approach should be fetch each record of table C and retrieve corresponding value from table A using the key.
    Here is your solution:
    [*Note:* I have used HashMap to hold data of table A and also to hold result. You can use any data type of your choice, but approach will be same.]
    import java.io.*;
    import java.util.*;
    public class Parser{
         public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception{
              System.out.println("Hello: "+System.getProperty("user.dir"));
              new Parser().parse();
         public void parse() throws Exception{
              FileReader reader1=new FileReader("TABLE_A.txt");
              BufferedReader buffer1=new BufferedReader(reader1);
              FileReader reader2=new FileReader("TABLE_C.txt");
              BufferedReader buffer2=new BufferedReader(reader2);
              HashMap<String,String> tableAData=new HashMap<String,String>();
              List<String> tableCData=new ArrayList<String>();
              // Read data from table a
              String data=null;
              while((data=buffer1.readLine())!=null){
                   String[] temp=data.split("\\t");
                   tableAData.put(temp[0],temp[3]);
              data=null;
              while((data=buffer2.readLine())!=null){
                   tableCData.add(data);
              HashMap<String, String> result=new HashMap<String, String>();
              for(String cData: tableCData){
                   if(tableAData.containsKey(cData)){
                        result.put(cData, tableAData.get(cData));
                   }else{
                        result.put(cData, null);
              System.out.println("Result: "+result.toString());
    }Thanks,

  • Avi file size compared to m2v file size

    I saved a movie clip in MPEG for computer playback.  The file size was 112MB.  The preset was H.264 1440x1080i 25, no export audio, the codec was MainConcept H.264 Video, TV standard was automatic, frame dimensions were 720 by 480, frame rate was 29.97, field order was automatic, fixed aspect ratio was automatic, level was 4.1, bitrate encoding was VBR, 2 Pass, and Bitrate level was high.  I then saved the file in AVI and the file size was 426MB.  The preset was Microsoft AVI, no export audio, the video codec was Cinepak Codec by Radius, quality was 100, size was 720 by 480, frame rate was 29.97, field type was lowere first and aspect was square pixels.  Why would the file size nearly quadruple and what can I do to get the AVI file size down below 400MB?  Thanks.
    Steve

    Well, for one thing, you're going from one format to another -- but, more so, you're going from one codec (compression system) to another.
    The H.264 codec is the one used for creating AVCHD video, although not all H.264 video is AVCHD. It can also be used as a delivery format (that's a format that you display online or play on a computer) -- which seems to be the case here. Your source is apparently from an AVCHD camcorder, although at that file size it must only be about 10 seconds long.
    Though that's hard to say too. Codecs can be highly compressed or lightly compressed, so two files using the same codec and the same file format can be very different in size!
    The Cinepak codec is also a delivery format, though it uses a completely different codec system as well as being for a different file format (AVI). You would neer use a file with a Cinepak codec as source material for editing. It's a highly compressed delivery format. Convert the file to a DV-AVI (an AVI using the DV codec) and it will likely be many times that size.

  • ITunes Folder size compared to available media in iTunes

    My iTunes folder is listed at 127.95 GB, however I only have 78.42 GB of music/movies/tv shows in iTunes. I have a hard time believing that 49.53 GB are iTunes system files.... ***???

    I'm not at my own computer right now but I think the television shows are all in a sub-folder in the iTunes Music folder. Same with podcasts and audiobooks. How you proceed is going to depend on your back up software. If you're just dragging and dropping to an external, I think you could close iTunes, drag the video folder out of your iTunes Music Folder, drag and drop the iTunes Music folder to the external. When it's done, be sure to put the video folder back before starting iTunes again or it won't be able to find it. If you're using back up software, just follow whatever procedures the software requires to select what you want to back up and don't select the video.
    Keep in mind that I don't use Windows as my primary operating system so you may have to translate.

  • File sizes different on iPhone compared to iTunes

    Hi everyone,
    After re-syncing my phone the file sizes compared to what was showing on the colored bar at the bottom of iPhone tab in iTunes is much different than the actual sizes of the files synced onto my phone. Basically I added all of the file sizes of my apps on my phone with a calculator and got 1.05gbs but highlighting the Apps section on the colored bar it shows 3.44gbs(see photo). My music adds up to 3.63gbs but shows 4.73gbs on the colored bar.
    Now I can understand adding lyrics, album art & whatnot may change the music file size but I can't see how profiles, scores on games or whatever can add an additional 2.4gbs to my apps. Any idea on what's up with this?

    I have found the iTunes "Memory Bar" to be an estimate and also not too sure it is always the same picture-in-time as the iPhone data.  Do you have (forgive the pun) and Apples to Apples comparison of each App you are counting?  I share an Apple ID and iTunes with my granddaughter and as such I don't actually keep all the Apps on my iPhone that show up in iTunes.

  • Muvo N200 - What is it called

    Was going to update my MUVO N200 on the firmware, and am unable to find it. I see that Creative renamed everything (lovely), so I can't find my player on that list of drivers anymore. Anyone know what they renamed it to?
    And why do they pull this kind of stuff? Really, it just makes it more confusing for me as a consumer to figure out what I need.

    On the downloads page it may be called the MuVo Micro - it's full title is MuVo Micro N200 but that seems to get shortened to either MuVo Micro or N200 depending on which region you are in.
    It has been superceded by the Zen Nano Plus but don't use any downloads specifically for that player.

  • Muvo N200, songs do not fully downl

    hi,
    i've had this thing for over a month and this isn't the first problem i've had with it.
    i deleted certain folders from my mp3 player and attempted to transfer new files over. but, at certain songs the transfer will freeze. i have to unplug the player and it crashes.
    plugging the player back in, i check the file that made the transfer crash. most of the song is there, but then it turns into a song that i have long deleted from the player.
    the problem persists after multiple reformats and reinstallation of firmware.
    these mp3s are not corrupt. wouldn't a reformat remove these fragments?
    i'll try to scan the player for errors.
    thanks in the meantime.

    Hello
    I am not sure if i am having the same/similar problem. I just bought a Muvo Micro GB N200 recently and seem to only be able to load about 700 mb. When i try to add more I get the "error message". If I delete some then add it levels off at 700 mb again. I tried to find out on the creative website to see if this 300 mb is reserved for something but can't seem to find out. Any help would be appreciated. As right now, I feel kind of annoyed paying for GB and only getting 700mb.
    Thanks

  • Is the Creative Zen Muvo V100 2gb mp3 player go

    Well yeah I had a Rio Ce200 and 2 months after I got it something came on the screen that said upgrader on it and it never goes to the menu,just stays like that...
    Found out later on a forum there were about 00-50 topics with people complaining of the same problem.
    Company went out of buisness and I had a 90 day warrenty..sucks to be me.
    Thinking about getting one.
    A few questions...
    .How is the sound quality compared to higher end mp3 players(Creatives,Rio's, Sony, etc....)
    2.How is the warrenty, lets say it breaks in 6-2 months, will they send me a new one?
    3.How is music organization handled? I used Mediamonkey on my old mp3 player.
    4. Is it durable?
    5. Does it has a sd card memory expansion slot?Message Edited by dbzzx on 0-29-200704:3 PM
    Please anyone? I really need help...Message Edited by dbzzx on 0-29-200707:23 PM

    I've had one for about a week, so no long term experience here. My only other experience is with the Muvo Micro N200 (same as the Zen Nano Plus, just a different name) and the Zen Micro. For my main uses (jogging, dancing) it's great. To answer your questions:. Sound quality is great, as?good as the Micro. With higher bitrate files (96+) and good earbuds, you can get excellent sound.2. I don't have the?warranty in front of me, so don't know?what it is. Got mine for $34, so not too worried about this.3. Music is organized by albums in folders, three?preassigned folders (A, B, and C) and the root folder.
    You put albums in?whatever folder you choose, pretty easy to use for me.4. Durable? After one week it'sis, too soon to know for sure.
    You unplug part of the unit from itself in order to plug it directly into USB port on computer, this seems like?a potential weak link, but?people who've had it'sfor a while say it hasn't been a problem. The design is very similar to my Muvo Micro?N200, which has been very durable. On Amazon one person describes running it through their washer and dryer, it still worked.5. No expansion slot. I'd suggest going to Amazon?and read reviews there, I think they'll be better balanced than anything you might read here. People who are unhappy with their player tend to show up here looking for answers, the people who are happy with it'sseem to silently enjoy it rather than log on here?just to praise it.

  • Aperture 3 Library size vs iPhoto Library

    Hi!
    I recently switched from iPhoto to Aperture and am wondering about the library size?  In iPhoto the library size was bloated because it made a copy of every photo behind the scenes upon import.  I got tired of that and thought that moving to Aperture would solve the problem.  But, after importing most of my photos into Aperture, then comparing the size of my Aperture Library package with the size of my Photo folder in Finder that I imported from, I'm finding my Aperture library is over 100 GBs bigger!!  Yikes!  How did that happen?
    I am running a managed library, but I thought Aperture didn't make a copy of every photo behind the scenes but rather just made versions of the master when changes are made.
    Frankly, I haven't even done any editing yet, just importing.  So, why the huge library size compared to the size of my Photo library in Finder?  It's 186 GBs versus 85 GBs.  Same photo collection.  Crazy.
    TIA!

    No, from folders in Finder.  I always have my photos in Finder too on an EHD, even after I import them to iPhoto or Aperture.

  • Limit message size per recipient domain

    Is there a feature to set maximum message size per recipient domain (incoming emails) in the roadmap maybe?

    While you cannot do it by 'domains' for maximum message size limitations, you can limit the connection mail hosts.
    IE: domain1.com may use the connecting mail host of mail.domain1.com
    domain2.com may use the connection mail host of mx.domain2.com
    Then you can create new sendergroups for the respective domains mail servers to match, and with the sendergroup you will need to create a new mail flow policy with the size limits you would like to impose.
    Once this is done, simply add the mail.domain1.com into the respective sendergroup and it will impose this limitation.
    Key points to note:
    Size limits should account for MIME inflation.
    IE: 10mb limitation you want to implement should be 14MB on the mail flow policy to account for MIME inflation.
    Alternatively, if you would like to do it 'by domain'
    SImply increase your mail flow policy for the sendergroup that these domains normally match (under default it would normally be UNKNOWNLIST) and have it at 14MB (to allow for 10MB emails)
    Then run a message filter (so it gets actioned at the start)
    FilterDomain1:
    if (mail-from =="@domain1.com") AND (body-size > 5M)
    drop();
    Etc. to impose the limits this way.
    Note:
    Body size refers to the size of the message, including both headers and attachments. The body-size rule selects those messages where the body size compares as directed to a given number.
