Hi at all,
My Problem is that when i want to transfer songs into my Muvo TX Se the transfer rate is very slow. For example for a 40 MB directory i needed nearly 2 min. With the old MP3 Player i didnt have this problem.
I will appreciate an answer with a solution.
My USB port is a 2.0 USB port and my configuration is:
Athlon 3000+
024 MB ram
Nvidia 6600
Win XP SP 2
Motherboard is a ASUS motherboard dont know the exact modell.
Thx for the answers
madddy

No idea, what the problem might be?

  • Muvo V100 slow trans

I just got this Muvo v00 2GB yesterday and i was disappointed of the transfer speeds. I bought this to upgrade to my Muvo TX FM GB which has a good transfer speed. Not sure if this is a problem with the unit i got but the usb is working like its a USB . rather than a 2.0.
Anybody know why? or is there a fix to this? Thanks in advance.

i had just about made up my mind to get a V00 for someone,
i saw the spec sheets on shops all say USB.,
so i come here to check its USB2,
i see this.. and oh no! this sinks it for me. what a shame.
Why would creative release a new larger capacity player now thats . !
It looks like the V00 and V200 are USB (probably not firmware fixable either), can someone please confirm,
then its back to the TX for me, which is a shame - i like the look of the V00 :/Message Edited by Smiff2 on -0-200603:0 PM

  • Zen Xtra 40gb very slow trans

    hi all !!
I just get my zen xtra yesterday, i connected and after installing all software updates i copied 7gb of mp3 to the Audio Library, it was slow, but worst was when i turned off and on again and try to see on windows XP explorer what i written to it. It was almost 2 minutes to load !!!!
My pc is P4 3GHZ, gb RAM and a INTEL D865PERL motherboard, of course USB 2.0
    Can you help me ?
    Thank you
    Best regards
    Sergio

    Shauna Mahana,
Have you try running Cleanup function from the player Rescue mode? It might help with the file transfer.

  • Fuji x-trans raw files import extremely slow

WIn 7 pro 3.6 AMD quad core 16 gb ram 1.2 tb raid 0 WD Velociraptor drives. Lightroom 5.6
I have a fairly quick system and my 24mp Sony raw files import and render full sized previews reasonably quickly -but it takes about 5x longer for my Fuji X-T1 raw files to import and render full size previews.  If I import into Capture One Pro 7 or 8 or into Photo Ninja both the Sony and the Fuji files import and render previews quickly. It is only Lightroom that is so incredibly slow with the Fuji raw files.
I have used LR since version one and my files have always imported reasonably fast , however, the Fuji raw files have been slow to import from the very first import.  Ex - yesterday I imported 312 raf files (Fuji raw files) and it took 31 minutes to complete. I also imported 257 Sony raw files and the import  plus full sized preview rendering was completed in just under 5 minutes.
Am I missing something in the preferences or import workflow?
    Thanks for any help
    BOb

Thanks for the quick reply! :-)
The setup is identical as when I work with my Nikon-files; I always start by "manually" copy the files from the memorycard to correct location/disk.
In LR I use the "Add" option when I import to my catalog, so the file transfer is not part of the equation....
Even the large files from Nikon D810 is faster to "add" than the files from the X-T1.
But, as you write, it might come down to X-Trans-files (RAF) is not as optimal for Adobe processing as the Nikon raw files (NEF)...

  • Why muvo v100 slower than t

I have both a G muvo v00 and a 256M muvo txfm that I copy the same mp3 files to each day from the same computer. I notice that the time it takes to copy the same file is almost 4 times longer with the v00. Is that normal? If not, what could be wrong?
    Greg

The Muvo V00 does have a slower transfer speed; you're not alone
Hopefully it will be fixed, but there has been no confirmation.

It charges via its USB socket, so you can't use the Xtra's power supply.
What is displayed in screen and can i use drag and drop transfer method from windows explorer?
It works as a flash dri've, so appears as a dri've letter in Windows Explorer.
Finally can i use the mediasource 3.20 softwear update i now use with my zen or must i input different mediasource version for slim than one i use with the zen? thanks matt
Go to Nomadworld.com downloads and you'll see the Slim listed there with MediaSource and the MuVo plugin.

  • Extremly slow mp3 transfer to my muvo v

Hello! I got my "muvo v200" a vew days ago and since i installed it correctly (i think so (- it doesn?t work right. The transfer of the first 0 mp3s (each 3-4MBs) worked fine, but then it began to stop for about 30 seconds, goes on, stops, goes on, and so on... That means that tranferring mp3 to the muvo takes a extremly long time or it breaks up with the message "directory is too long" or something like "transfer-fault" (sorry, i don?t know the exact phrase in english). That problem occours if I transfer data to the muvo, to erase something from it or make a new folder there works right.
I also read about firmware- and driverupdates here, so I did that yesterday. The result was the same, transferring the first 0 songs after updating worked fine, then it stops and I got a little bit angry... (-:
Anybody out there with some help for me?
    thanx a lot
    andi

Transfer problems often come down to some issue with the PC. Have you tried the MuVo in another PC to see if it works there without issue? This isolates where the problem is.

    Hi!
I am currently signed up for a 1mbps  connection, however my speed is always capped at 160 kbps! That is unless I run the verizon speed test or use the one on speedtest.net

  • MuVo N200 Direct Trans

Hi, I have an old(er) MuVo N200 256mb mp3 player and my friend has a video ipod. He is having a problem downloading a particular album that he wants that I have on my player, so he's asked if it's possible to directly transfer. I suggested e-mailing it but he seems to think that'd take longer if it can be done directly. I know the N200 has this fancy cord for encoding as well as the USB port, so is it possible to do this transfer simply by connecting our players together? And if so would we use the encoding cord or the usb cord? If I had to guess I'm betting either this can't be done or I would connect it to his using the USB which would cause his ipod to recognize it as a portable dri've, make sense? If anyone could get back to me ASAP that'd be wonderful, thanks -Ang-

    Ang,
You're right, this cannot work. You need to attach both player to the computer to make those transfer.

  • SharePoint 2010 Slow query duration when setting metadata on folder

I'm getting "Slow Query Duration" when I programmatically set a default value for a default field to apply to documents at a specified location on a SP 2010 library.
    It has nothing to do with performance most probably as I'm getting this working with a folder within a library with only a 1 document on a UAT environment. Front-end: AMD Opteron 6174 2.20GHz x 2 + 8gb RAM, Back-end: AMD Opteron 6174 2.20GHz x 2 + 16gb

The specific line of code causing this is:
    folderMetadata.SetFieldDefault(createdFolder, fieldData.Field.InternalName, thisFieldTextValue);
    What SP says:

  • SQL: System locks up and runs slow after performing simple DML record insert

    SQL Version:  2008 R2
I am having a serious problem.  I ran the following code to perform a simple table record insert which ran successfully.  However, after running this code I could no longer access the related table.  I couldn't run a query against it.
I tried to delete all the records and that wouldn't work either.  When attempting to run any DML statements (i.e. Select * From vPCCertificateTypes) against this table SQL gets locked up and never returns anything and no error messages.  I have
to manually stop the query.  Now the entire SQL system is running slow.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.  The code I ran to originally insert the records is below.
    Regards,
    Bob Sutor
    CODE:
    Begin TRAN
INSERT INTO vPCCertificateTypes (VendorGroup, CertificateType, Description, Active, Category)
SELECT HQCo, 'MBE', 'Minority-owned Business Enterprise', 'Y', 'Affirmative Action'
     FROM HQCO
     Where HQCo IS NOT NULL
      AND HQCo <> 100
      AND HQCo <> 99
     IF @@ROWCOUNT <> 44 ROLLBACK ELSE COMMIT
    Bob Sutor

The problem was an open uncommitted transaction against the table as you suspected.  I ran your code and it cleared the transaction.  In the past I would intentionally leave our the Commit statement and then if the transaction ran fine, I would
simply highlight and run 'COMMIT' and it would close the transaction.  Apparently that is not the correct approach.  I'll use your suggested code from now on.
    Thanks for the help.

  • Slow preview on second monitor

    Hello
I'm using two monitors with LR5, and the second monitor is the preview screen.
I find the preview on the second monitor to be painfully slow in both the Library and Develop modules:
    1) If I am the Develop module, and I move to the next photo, and zoom the preview to 100% (or if it is already at 100%), it take a minute, literally, for the preview to display correctly.
    2) In the Develop module, sometimes the display does not update correctly at all. If I adjust a slider on the Details tab, however slightly, the preview then updates almost immediately.
    3) In the Library module, if I switch the main window to single photo view, and view 100%, then, as I browse the photos, the main window updates very quickly, but the preview window lags behind.
I'm working with Fuji X-Trans RAF files, and this maybe this si the issue? JPGs update almost immediately in the preview window in both modules.
Does anyone have a similar experience?
    Mike

    Sounds like this problem:

  • Transactional replication very slow with indexes on Subscriber table

I have setup Transactional Replication for one of our databases where one table with about 5mln records is replicated to a Subsriber database. With every replication about 500-600.000 changed records are send to the Subscriber.
Since one month I see very strange behaviour when I add about 10 indexes to the Subscriber table. As soon as I have added the indexes replication speed becomes extremely slow (almost 3 hours for 600k records). As soon as I remove the indexes the replication
is again very fast, about 3 minutes for the same amount of records.
I've searched a lot on the internet to solve this issue but can't find any explaination for this strange behaviour after adding the indexes. As far as I know it doesn't have to be a problem to add indexes to a Subscriber table, and it hasn't been before on
    another replication configuration we use.
Some information from the Replication Log:

Can someone please help me with this issue? Any ideas?
    Pim

    Hi Megens:
Insert statement might be slow with not only indexes and few others things too
    0) SQL DB Blocking during inserts
    1) If any insert triggers are existed
    2) Constraints - if any
    3) Index fragmentation
    4) Page splits / fill factor
Without indexes inserts will be fast because, each time when new row going to insert to the table, SQL Server will do
    1) it will check for the room, if no room page splits will happen and record will placed at right place
    2) Once the record updated all the index should be update
    3) all these extra update work will cause can make insert statement bit slow
Its better to have index maintenance jobs frequently to avoid fragmentation.
If every thing is clear on SQL Server Side, you need look up on DISK IO, N/W Latency between the servers and so on
    Thanks,
Thanks, Satish Kumar. Please mark as this post as answered if my anser helps you to resolves your issue :)
