MuVo2 low output po

Hi!
I have a MuVo2 ,5 GB player, and I have a problem. I read an review on the Internet about my player, and they wrote that the MuVo2 player has one of the greatest output power. The guy who tetsed it, wrote that when you have the full volume (with the same headphones that I have) it's very hight, and I mean very high volume. On my player, the full volume is not high at all, so with some headphones the volume is high enought.
On Creatives homepage, you could read that the output power is 2 x 5 mW, and this is the same as it is on my brothers player (it's not a Creative), but his player can play much louder than my could, and the diffrence it's big.
A friend of mine, has I Creative Zen Micro, and this player should have the same output power as the MuVo2 ,5 GB. But also here, it's a big diffrence.
So, it had to be somthing wrong with my mp3-player. Anybody who has this problem?
/Johnny R.

The MuVo? series has an OK output as far as volume goes, but it is far from being the highest output of any mp3 player. If your volume though is decidedly low, then you could have European firmware which has a volume limitation. Under Settings | Information you can see your firmware revision. If it has an E on the end then it is the lower output firmware.
Visit www.nomadworld.com | downloads section and download and install the latest Non European firmware for your MuVo?.5.
If that is not the case, your headphones could be a high impedance which will lower the volume, or you could have a problem. Try the firmware check first though!

  • Low output from idt codec

new h8-1360T w/win 7, low output from idt codec, adjust level to max and barely have one green bar, adjust through beats and same, no change, cannot record.   Is it a Beats problem?   help

If you have opened the Beats Control panel (right click on Beats on the TaskBar) and checked the Beats "Master Volume" to make sure it is not "off" or turned down all the way...
    then
the issue may be a driver problem.
Two ways to try and deal with the Driver Issue (if that is what this is):
    Method One:
Use the Recovery Manager to Reinstall your original IDT Audio Driver.  The procedure is below:
Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 7)
    Reboot and check...
    =====================================================================================
Alternatively, if that does not seem to help, you can try the Driver version in your computer's website.  This method is a bit more complicated, but it has the added advantage of "resetting" things in a way that the previous methiod does not attempt.
Note that the version of the IDT may be critical for your setup for some reason.  This is why it is necessary to try the first method before jumping to this second method.  The version of the IDT Audio in your Recovery Manager is the "original" version and it may be the one that makes your computer happy.  You can always update if things go well and you want to experiment.
    Method Two:
Download and save this file to your Downloads folder on your computer:
sp57492 IDT High Definition Audio Driver
    Next:
Control Panel > icon view > open Programs and Features > right click on IDT Audio > Select Uninstall
Reboot the computer, and log in
    Open the Downloads folder,
Right Click on the downloaded sp57492 installation package > "run as Administrator" > and start the installation
Complete the installation, following any instructions
Open the Speaker Icon (in Taskbar) > Playback Devices > Speakers and Headphones > Select "Set Default"
    Check the sound levels...
Now, there are a variety of settings and such that ARE a part of the Beats setup, but the basics have to work before the Beats even enters into the equation.
    ====================================================================================
    Finally:
It could be something that you can "fix" by setting:
Sound icon > Playback Devices > "Ehancements" > CHECK Loudness and Equalization > OK
I personally dislike this workaround.  It is not a solution.  It is a bandaid.  Nonetheless,  when all else fails... IF the enhancements setting is avialble (Windows 7), then it does work for folks...
    ====================================================================================
    I hope this helps.
    Kind Regards,

  • DDTS-100 low output

Can Creative help me on why I have a low output (volume near to max for both ) from my Altec Lansing 505R speakers connected to my PS2, Xbox n DVD(optical), Creative soundcard Audigy(coaxial) and TV, Creative soundcard Audigy(stereo) but when I connect stereo direct(stereo input) to my speakers with volume set mid, the speakers output is way louder n better. Is there something wrong with my DDTS-100? Adjusting the center, rear and subwoofer didn't make any difference for my output. Anybody have any comments on this. Thinking of sending it down to the Creative service centre for a check if there is no solution for this. Hope Creative can advise on this.

I guess I should have done my homework before posting! I went to dolby.com and found that prologic II does not support the subwoofer output.. I guess this is for older systems that don't have one. It would have been nice if creative could have enabled the sub out though.. but it probobly is against dolby's rules. The good news is that all of my speakers are large, full range ones anyways. (the new dolby prologic IIx does support the subwoofer out, but the DDTS-00 doesn't support prologic IIx, go figure) Overall the unit seems like it will work ok for me... Oh, by the way, I plan on using it as the input for an older McIntosh tuner/pre-amp in my home theater, no computer or powered speakers involved. It has a 6 channel input, but no dolby digital decoder.. I hope it works for that, seems like it should. I just need the mini plug to RCA adapters, right?
    Thanks, Ron

  • Low output when using Akai MPK49 controller

I'm completely new to Logic so I appreciate your taking the time to read this.
When ever I add a software instrument track and use my Akai MPK49 controller to control the instrument, the meters show that I have plenty of signal coming in, but the output is extraordinarily low. I can't even hear the instrument when I play other tracks with it! The Akai has TERRIBLE documentation so I'm not sure if I've screwed something up there as well. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something in Logic.

    hi. one trick to try:
    1. look to the right of the mode wheels, you will se the "performance controls" section in orange.
    2. press the FULL LEVEL button. this should give you zero velocity sensitivity, but up your output.

  • Active low output mode on 660x?

Is it possible to configure the counters on the 6602 to be idle high/ active low?
I currently have an application doing single pulse generation: the output is low when the board is initialized, low after trigger of the counter until the delay count is reached, then high for the duration of the pulse width count. I would to change the program that configures the board (traditional NI-DAQ from a Delphi program) so that some outputs of the board are high after board initialization and are only pulled low during the pulse width count. Possible? Hints on how to do it?
    thanks, dean

    Hi,
Unfortunately DAQ drivers are not supported under Delphi, it can be used but the only information you can find about using DAQmx or Traditional under Delphi are from customers discussion forums and a couple of National Instruments knowledgebase’s.
Although information is minimal I have some pointers, you are probably in a very advance stage of your project and changing API at this point would be a mistake; but for further implementations there are some knowledge bases on using DAQmx on Delphi.  These are the links: How Can I Use the NI-DAQmx ANSI C Function Library with Borland C and Delphi?, Can I Make NI-DAQmx Calls From Borland Delphi? and NI-DAQ and the Delphi Language Interface.
Another point; it seems to me you are trying to implement something like this:  Events >> Counter Output Event >> Output Behavior:  “Specifies whether the exported Counter Output Event pulses or changes from one state to the other when the counter reaches terminal count. Upon reaching terminal count, the counter can issue a pulse. Use Polarity to select a high or low pulse. For the C reference this is the function needed to change it idle state: “DAQmxSetExportedCtrOutEventPulsePolarity”, it is located in the NI-DAQmx reference help, even though you are not coding in DAQmx it might give you a hint to find the minimum functions needed to accomplish this task.
    I hope it helps

  • 15454 Low Output Signal Power

Having a problem with the Bits timing output on pins A3, B3 and A1,B1 on the back of the Sonnet Shelf. Appears the output signal power of our 15454 is reading 1.30 which is very low.
Tried changing the LBO setting and it did not make a difference.
Need to now if there is a way to boost the signal power level up.
The bits timing ouputs are used to time our Motorola BSR (CMTS) for telephony. The problem the Motorola BSR's are experiencing is when you failover the SRM (CPU) to the Secondary SRM, you loose both timing inputs.
    Any advice?

  • Linked media in interactive PDF has low output volume

The link FV4 video in my exported interactive PDF produced in InDesign is practically inaudiable. The the audio in the stand alone quicktime video is fine.
How can I increase the volume output in the interactived PDF?
    Thanks!

There are no controls either in InDesign or in Acrobat Pro to change the volume associated with a video file.
I've made many interactive PDF files from InDesign and the volume playing from the PDF is always exactly the same as when I previewed it in the Media panel in InDesign.
Open up the Media panel in InDesign (Window > Interactive > Media) and preview the video there. I'd bet that it previews the same as when you play the PDF file.
There must be something that was done in QuickTime to change the audio.

  • Low output volume

So when I have my iphone plugged into the computer the output is good and loud for plugging into a stereo.
However when its not plugged in then it is very very quiet. Is there a way to make the volume loud all the time? I'm not wild about cranking my stereo up then forgetting its so loud and changing devices and having it blast me out of the room.....

have you checked the iPhone volume level to make sure it's up? have you tried playing with the volume controls while it's plugged into the stereo? i have seen that the iPhone saves the last volume level for the device you were using, so it will keep 1 set of volume levels for the headphones, another for a different set of headphones, and then another for the on board speaker.

  • MuVo2 (1,5G): Can I Use output power only (not install the battery) when I listen the mus

    Hi Sir:
When I am in home and listen the music on MuVo2 ,can I use output power only (AC power) and remove the battery ( the battery is not in the MuVo2)?
This is good to the MuVo2 or not ? (have any damange?)
Because I always use the MuVo2 in my home, I think to charge AC into the battery, and use it until in low battery , then charge again.. It seem to a little stupid....
Can I use AC(output power) only when I listen the music ? and remove the AC(output power) when I close/shut down the MuVo2 ? ( I know , the usermanual say it is not good to MuVo2 if AC(output power) "always on" the MuVo2 even it's shutdown.)
I saw in the usermanual there will be a little image indicate the MuVo2 is "output power only".... So can I use output power only or not ? Is it good to MuVo2?
    Thanks a lot !!
    ( Your product is great~!)
    B/R, Richard

    Richard,
Yes, you can use the player on the AC outlet only if you want, that's fine.

  • Low mic output, can't figure it out at all!

Recently, I tried to find a portable solution just for fun. In the studio, we have a proper mixing desk, amps, pre-amps and the lot. But I'm going away for a few months and I needed to be able to work on the go… That said…
I got myself some candy. At first I thought it would be cheap… I was wrong.
It's costing me because I keep buying new things to try and fix the issue!
I got a nice shure condensor mic and the Behringer Tube Ultragain pre-amp.
To input the sound into the MacBook Pro, I also got Behringer Firewire FCA202.
For those not familiar with these, the FCA202 has 2 ins / 2 outs, 1/4 inch, no pre-amp. The Tube Ultragain offers up to 60dB of gain, +48 V, 20dB PAD, a phase reverse and limiter.
First observation is how the Tube Ultragain indicates proper volume, in fact, when all knobs are all the way up, a simple hush in the mic send the volume indicator to clip. Still, nothing through Logic. I can see a bar, but barely a sound.
I tried to plug my headphones in the back of the Tube Uktragain and it's quite loud. So why won't it work?
Then, I decided it was the Tube Ultragain. I thought I'd get extra gain by buying another audio interface that could be portable. I chose the Line6 Toneport X1. I plug the XLR from the mic to the XLR input of the Tube Ultragain, crank up all the knobs. I output to the Line 6 through the mic input, cranking the gain as well. Still nothing.
I decided to get a different mic. I got the ribbon Superlux R102. I read great reviews. Any setup combination with any of my devices resulted still in very very very very low output.
Considering that I have a few mics, what should I get that will work or what am I doing wrong with what I've got?
The thing is, all these devices work great with guitars. It all points to not enough juice for the mics but seriously, shouldn't the Tube Ultragain do the trick?
    Help???

  • Why lower audo levels when connecting to home stereo system

I have connected an audio cable to the earphone output on the Nano. This cable has two RCA connectors that connect to the line-in of my home stereo system. It works fine except for one thing. The volume is lower than other sources that feed into a "line-in" input. To make things even across the system, is there some type of devise that will increase the output level of the headphone jack on the Nano? Or does using an Apple cable make any difference. I would think this little problem is just a case of the headphone output being of a lower output level than a "line-out" output.
    Thanks for suggestions.

"I would think this little problem is just a case of the headphone output being of a lower output level than a "line-out" output."
It is, which is why many people who want to do this use the iPod dock, which has a proper 'line out' socket.
