17To be fair, my "All knowledge is worth having" life motto is borrowed from Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Legacy series. It's a terrific line, and I fell in love with it the first time I read it.
If a forum member gives an answer you like, give them the Kudos they deserve. If a member gives you the answer to your question, mark the answer as Accepted Solution so others can see the solution to the problem.

12One of the requirements for Edge is that there be no late payments in the previous 6 months. Whether or not the requirement is relaxed, who knows, but I would not count on it.
As to several people on one account, the account owner is responsible for the account. If the bill is not paid, it reflects on their credit report, no one else's.
Of course, the account owner can make payment any way they choose to do so, it IS their responsibility. If the account owner chooses to have the individual owners make payments on their own, it is still the account owner's responsibility to make sure the bill is paid. If you are worried that one user fails to make payment on their portion of the account, it may be in the best interest of the account owner to make payment in one amount and then individually collect the payment from the individual users. This can be done many ways, Paypal comes to mind. If the account owner does not feel comfortable doing this, they should not have agreed to be responsible for the account. -

Thanks to Lasagna for reminding us all that as wonderful as technology is, sometimes good old fashion batteries are key:
...as for the hurricane, I'd suggest checking out that somewhat antiquated but amazingly functional little feature they have on most clocks, car dashboards, stereo tuners, etc. -- I believe they call it "radio" -- funny thing, supposedly it even works when the lights go out if you have these other new fangled things called batteries.
