Hey ... that would be a nice perk for MVP's ... a temporary bump to kudos counting for "2" instead of "1" (unless of course you're already "gold").

One of the trickiest- and most interesting- things about posting a question on the boards is that your original question can very easily morph into another question altogether. This is what happened within this week's Thread of the Week. A simple question asking if you can swap out a modem/router combo for a modem only has led to some great discussions on how best to use your PS3.

I am honored to be on the list, however I wish it wasn't for the reason it was.
Unmentioned in your post is the outpouring of support for the Funimation channel.  This channels cancellation, due to what is quickly turning out to be a less than factual reason of 'low viewership' from Verizon, has mobilized many of your customers.  In fact, I'm sure that most of the people in your list this week were kudo'ed for posts in 1 of 2 threads:
    Funimation Canceled!
    Save Funimation Petition
If we are to look at the pure numbers, at the time of this writing those 2 threads combined for a total of nearly 950 kudos and 3800+ views.  Even more telling:  198 of the 200 most kudo'ed posts are people SUPPORTING Funimation Channel and against Verizon's decision to cancel the channel.  (http://forums.verizon.com/t5/kudos/leaderboardpage/board-id/FiOS_TV_Entertainment/timerange/one_mont...
IMHO (and no offense to Justin and his very helpful document) either of these 2 would have made a much more appropriate 'Thread of the week'.

One of the requirements for Edge is that there be no late payments in the previous 6 months. Whether or not the requirement is relaxed, who knows, but I would not count on it.
As to several people on one account, the account owner is responsible for the account. If the bill is not paid, it reflects on their credit report, no one else's.
Of course, the account owner can make payment any way they choose to do so, it IS their responsibility. If the account owner chooses to have the individual owners make payments on their own, it is still the account owner's responsibility to make sure the bill is paid. If you are worried that one user fails to make payment on their portion of the account, it may be in the best interest of the account owner to make payment in one amount and then individually collect the payment from the individual users. This can be done many ways, Paypal comes to mind. If the account owner does not feel comfortable doing this, they should not have agreed to be responsible for the account.

Thanks to Lasagna for reminding us all that as wonderful as technology is, sometimes good old fashion batteries are key:
...as for the hurricane, I'd suggest checking out that somewhat antiquated but amazingly functional little feature they have on most clocks, car dashboards, stereo tuners, etc. -- I believe they call it "radio" -- funny thing, supposedly it even works when the lights go out if you have these other new fangled things called batteries.

To be fair, my "All knowledge is worth having" life motto is borrowed from Jacqueline Carey's Kushiel's Legacy series. It's a terrific line, and I fell in love with it the first time I read it.

What about Helpful Member of the Week? Takes out the "most" but keep the helpful. "You're all awesome, and here's an awesome person we'd like to recognize!"
    Just my two cents...
