MW : Sudden increase of number of queues in Realign

Hello Experts,
I got a weird issue . two days ago I noticed a huge increase of the number of queues in realign in smohqueue.
usualy I get something like 500 000 lines in 24hours and it suddenly went up to 4 millions, then 6 million during the day and now it's up to 5million something and slowly (very slowly) going down.
Nothing special happend on the system , subscriptions haven't been created , no new sites (we have mobile sales) and I was wondering what could make the number of realign line explode like this. Do you have any clue ?
thank you very much for your help.
Regards,
Mi

Hello,
I foudn out what it was.
Changes had been done on organisation data which had direct consequences on creating and deleting subscriptions on site (trhough sub_generator) which caused a huge amount of realignement.
Thank you for your help.

I assume you're asking because you're getting connection refused exceptions? Set the AcceptBacklog parameter in the config.xml/via the console. Here's a description of the parameter:

  • Sudden increase in buffer gets per executions in update statement

    Hi,
Recently we have encountered one performance issue, which is most likely caused by a sudden increase in the buffer gets per execution.
The SQL is an update statement, updating a table using a primary key (we have checked to confirm the running execution plan is using the primary key), and one field being updated is a BLOB column.
As shown in the below statistics, there is no major change in the number of executions during the every 20 minutes monitoring interval. However, the buffer gets per executions has been more than double, and the CPU time is almost doubled, hence the exec_time (elapsed time) has been doubled.
The same SQL has been running for the past four years in multiple similar databases. The database is Oracle 9.2.0.4 running on Solaris 9. For the past 300 days, the average elapsed time per execution is about 0.0093s, while the average buffer gets per execution is about 670. The update statement has been executed about 9 times per second.
The question is why there is a sudden increase in the buffer gets? The sudden increase happened twice for the past two days.

    Dear all,
Can any one tell me how to increase the number of files picked up by File adapter.
    Pl post ASAP.
Useful answers will be appreciated accordingly.
    Thanks,

    Hi Srinivasa,
there is no parameter for number of files to be picked..............if you have too many source files and you want to get them processed quickly, then you can specify a very small polling interval, then XI will pick your source files quickly..........but it will cause heavy load on the XI system which can lead to blockage of messages in queues........

  • Sudden increased frequency of dropped calls

Anyone else experiencing a sudden increase in the number of dropped calls? I am in the Cleveland, Ohio area and over the last 3 weeks I have been dropping almost every call that lasts over a minute. Called AT&T, they said they are sending "engineers" to determine if there is a network problem. At the same time suggesting that the issue is with Apple. I have had my iphone for over a year and never had any trouble with dropped calls until recently.

I have had the same problem, a couple of weeks ago and then a few days ago again. Every 30 seconds or almost a minute the call will drop off. I called apple care and they said it might be something with the network, so i called AT&T and they have no idea what was happening. They told me it might be an issue with my cel. After call apple again, they ask me to do a complete restore of the device. I did it and after 2 hours of the restore process it went back to normal again. So far is working like new. So try to do that and hopefully it will work.

In my application , when trying to lock mutex with pthread_mutex_lock() ,
    this returns ENOMEM.
I found that ENOMEM error occurs when locking over 2000 mutex in a thread

In those mutex,PTHREAD_PRIO_INHERIT attribute is set to lock mutex in a sequential FIFO order.
Does anyone knows how to prevent ENOMEM error and how to increase maximum number of mutex lock at a time in a thread ?

  • Sudden increase in 'stuck spindle' drive failures in Enterprise

I'm trying to wrap my head around a sudden increase in drive failures (non-system or disk error \ drive no longer detected in BIOS).  We've had a total of 6 drives suddenly fail in the past 3 days, we typically have less than that fail in an ENTIRE year. I tested 4 of these drives and all 4 had the 5 beeps \ siren sounding error code (see stuck spindle audio in the link below). http://datacent.com/hard_drive_sounds.php I have a hard time believing this is a legitimate hardware issue but is it even possible for something to trigger a 'false-positive' condition?  To rule out a voltage spike or electrical damage these drives\PC's that exhibit these issues are spread throughout 3 different physical locations in different states. There have been numerous deep scanning security products pushed to these PC's in the past 2 months, more than I can even list.  Is it possible that somehow one of these products are corrupting the firmware on these drives to cause this? List of products I'm aware of that are on these systems : McAfee HIPsMcAfee AgentMcAfee Deep CommandMcAfee VirusScan Enterprise Newest products :Digital GuardianTanium ClientenCaseFireAMP Thanks!

I'm no drive expert but 18 drives failing since August with the same problem and they all had your "deep scan security" stuff applied on them? It seems to me the problem is something with your software that is doing a major number on those drives like nothing else, have you tried just running them without all that "security agent"  junk? It makes sens that if you alone have experinced this kind of failure that if it was a problem with the drives themselves hundreds or thousands of people would be complaining of the same problem. I've run my WD drives hard for 18 years in many machines and I've never had even one fail in any way, but then I run them on Mac machines and none of them use any of those "deep scan" security agents, Norton or any of that other stuff.

  • Ctx_doc.snippet increase the number of occurrences returned

    Hi everybody,
I am pretty new on Oracle Text so please be merciful :)
I am on Oracle 10.2.0.4.0 and I need to provide my users with ALL snippets found in a text, but it seems that CTX_DOC.SNIPPET restricts the number of snippets occurrences (I will exemplify it later).
The question is: is there a way to increase the number of results/snippets returned by CTX_DOC.SNIPPET ?
In the example that follows, I create the table "mysearch" and an index of type CTXSYS.CONTEXT, then I run the final SELECT query with CTX_DOC.SNIPPET() to obtain a list of most relevant fragments.
If you run the query - see the column "SNIPPET" - record #6 is returning only the first 4 occurrences. In this case (especially because is a single row) I would expect to find all 6 occurrences instead of 4.
Again, if looking to record #7 I have only 3 occurrences.
Then for record #8 I have only 2 occurrences.
I know that CTX_DOC.SNIPPET retrieves the "most" relevant fragment, but I would like to obtain the full list of fragments present in the indexed text. Is there a way (or an alternate method) to accomplish what I like to do.
I have also noted that CTX_DOC.MARKUP can be used on the same index to retrieve the full text "marked-up" with my query terms, so I know Oracle has indexed the text somewhere, I need only to get it out !
Any help will be very appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Luigi

  • Increase the number of portions in process for each conversion object

    I experts,
I configured SAP TDMS 3.0 with SP 14 to transfer test data from QAS to DEV (both is ECC 6.0) for the first test with TDMS TIM (Time Based Reduction).
The data transfer phase is still running (99% - 60hs running). We analyzed the Display Runtime Information report and see that objects of conversion with similar calc. records and calc. GBytes have very different the Net Runtime.
TMDS currently is working with four objects of conversion, processing a portion of each.
Conversion objects that are running are:
    - Z_LTBP_002
    - Z_TSEGE_002
    - Z_VEVW_002
    - Z_YST27_002
We check in the receiver system, and we see that is use only one DIA process to update the each table.
How can increase the performance of the update? Is correct that use only 1 DIA process for this??
Can I increase the number of portions in process for each conversion object?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Sergio

  • How, using Adobe Connect can increase the number of participants in the meeting? I need more than 25 people.

Hi, I use licensed Adobe Connect. Earlier in the meeting could involve up to 100 people. Now only 25. How, using Adobe Connect can increase the number of participants in the meeting? I need more than 25 people.
    Thanks for your help.

The purchasing option through adobe.com only allows up to 25 attendees. If you need more than that, you will need to purchase through a reseller. You can find one that is able to sell in your part of the world, here: Adobe Connect Partners. Just reach out to one of the Global Partners.

It would make sense to at least double the authorised number.
