MXF encoding creates illegal brightess / luma ranges, despite the video limiter. TV Station rejects MXF encoded files

Her is a simple setup producing the problem:
Created a HD Bars and Tone.
Created an Adjustmentlayer placed it above the bars and added a Video Limiter.
Video Limiter: set the Signal Min to 0 %
set the Signal Max to 100 %
The YC-Waveform shows: the Values of the chroma and luminace are properly clipped. The ranges are between 0.3 and 1.0 V
Render a MXF file with the Preset MZD OP1a -> XDCAM HD 50 PAL and reimport it to premiere (ohter preset create similar problems)
Check the rendered Sequnce in the YC-Waveform.
The YC-Waveform shows: In the chroma there is one spike going up to aproxemitly 1.14 (Between the last bar and the bar before it)
and one spike is going down to a value of aprocimatly 0.26. In the Luma there are also to spike but far less pronounced.
On the other hand, if I render an uncompressed quicktime and reimport, all the values are fine.
The TV Station rejects the MXF files.

Does anyone know the iso range on the video camera / still camera?

I'm shopping around for camera's right now, my budget is very limited, and though I suspect almost any camera will have better low-light detection than the iphone 4 (not 4S), I don't know that for sure, because I can't find the iso range in the tech specs, and as we all know, Apple hardware can be surprisingly good. So, does anyone know the iso range for the iphone 4 (not 4S) ?

Set the pixel aspect ratio in Live Type: Edit > Project Properties. It needs to be at 1:42.

Why does my computer create web connections to addresses in the Amazon, Google and Youtube range when I start Firefox?

I think I already disabled all the updating functions, yet, SOMETIMES when I start Firefox, (with about:blank), my network monitor shows one to five connections to IP addresses mostly in the 74.125.225.x, 74.125.227.x, 74.125.228.x, and 72.21.x.x ranges. Those ranges include Google, Amazon, and Youtube.
I use Kaspersky, and have scanned multiple times for malware, and even had their technical support look into my computer. They see no malware. It is the Kaspersky Network Monitor that revealed the problem.
As I find them happening, I try to jot down the addresses, (quickly, because some of these connections only last a second or two), then add those to a firewall rule I created to try to combat the problem. Yet, next time I start, new addresses are "attacking". Of course, some get away, because I don't get the address jotted down before it goes away. At one point I used masking that ended up keeping me from Google and Youtube, so I have to add the addresses individually, and my block list in that one rule is 13 items long now. The only IPs not in those ranges are 23.5.251.27, and 173.194.46.5. Not sure where those go.
I used to get attacked by addresses in the range that includes Amazon ... 72.21.x.x. I have a separate firewall rule for them that has 33 addresses being blocked.
I should not have to do all that. Firefox should start and just sit there quietly until I start clicking or typing in it. This has been happening in Firefox versions going back to 11. May have gone on before that, but I wasn't tracking it then.
Also, it doesn't always happen, or, more precisely, with addresses I have not already blocked, (because my only way to know it's happening is when the connections are allowed to be made). It does not always happen right after Firefox is up, but sometimes several minutes later. I have started Firefox and just sat and watched the network monitor without doing anything in Firefox, and have seen this happen up to 15 minutes after I start Firefox ... mostly just two or three minutes when there's a delay at all.

Firefox does not do anything but sit on about:blank after I start it as long as I have a firewall rule enabled that completely blocks these subnets:

Otherwise, Fire fox creates connections to one to five addresses in those ranges. Note that there are more than 5 subnets above, but usually three connections satisfies whatever purpose these connections are being made for. If I had some links or whatever that is causing these connections, I would expect all of them would come up every time.
Also, these connections do not start immediately upon starting Firefox, they wait up to 15 minutes to start ... fifteen minutes of just sitting idle ... no actions on my part that could possibly initiate them. Usually these start within three minutes. A typical ploy of malware is to wait until no one is looking, or the until there's a forest to put their tree in so it won't be noticed.
While the above rules are in place, I do not have access to Amazon, Youtube, or Google, (or any of the various blog sites and services sponsored by Google, including Google Maps and Gmail). That list may not be complete, as I have other firewall rules in place that mainly block individual addresses.
It seems to me as simple as; figure out who owns those subnets, and you have your bad guys. Then go after them.
It's true that I have a bookmarks to Google, Gmail, and Youtube, but these are not "active" bookmarks nor RSS feeds. I have not voluntarily gone to Amazon on this computer.
The traffic being transmitted is unknown. It is usually not extremely large amounts of data ... less than a meg, but I have seen close to a Gig transmitted out of my computer, and over 400 meg transmitted to my computer, when I was not paying attention to block the offender. Even if it's small amounts, things like cookies, path structures, configuration settings, histories, etc. do not involve a lot of data, but, to me, represent a security breach, if someone decides to look at them unsolicited by me, not unlike your landlord, mortgage holder, or neighborhood police officer walking into your home while you're not there, and taking pictures of, or simply inventorying your belongings.
It is VERY much like some sort of backdoor malware. No malware is detected on my computer.
I looked at the suggestion above for OS changes for logging HTTP activity, but the author neglected to include instructions for backing out these changes after using them. If this were to create more jewels in a drawer the thief has access to, reformatting and restoring my drive is not the kind of back out process I enjoy. Therefore it would be foolish to apply them. To me it would be like bungee diving with no bungee. Fun until you hit the bottom. Give me the bungee, let me make sure it's short enough, then I'll dive.

Very disappointed with this choice. I will definitely be seeking to uninstall this version and go back a version or two. Two many extra steps to export an mp4 now. And now we also have to wait longer for a mp4 to render and can't take advantage of the machine's hardware? You guys fighting mp4 as a standard, forcing us to an additional product, or what? I'll be sharing my extreme disappoint with this 'upgrade' with the rest of the developers at work and who just had it installed. I'm not seeing this being too popular opn social media either. Seems like you only did what was best for you.Thanks for showing us who's boss.

Not necessarily. You can render an intermediate codec with AE's render queue (thus using all of AE's power to render) and then drop that file into the Adobe Media Encoder.
This was the workflow I've always used - even when AE could encode with MP4. Why? Well, because AE sucked at MP4 encoding. You couldn't even do multipass endoding with it!
This is a useful workflow in a few ways:
1. You have an archive-quality file to come back to in the future.
2. You can use AE's full power to render.
3. You can use AME's superior encoding capabilities.
4. You can tweak your compression settings and try various encoding parameters to improve the quality while decreasing the bitrate of your product WITHOUT having to re-render the AE comp every time you try since you're working off of the intermediate file. I mean, imagine a comp with several 3d layers, depth of field, shadows from multiple lights, and 250,000 particles from Particular. What if you made an MP4 and then the client needed a smaller file size or the MP4 you made was too heavily compressed and you needed higher quality? I don't know about you, but I'd much rather only render that 18-hour monster once.
This workflow actually saves time for many people.
And, in any workflow, this produces a better product.
Again, this is what I did even when AE could encode MP4's.

Listen, I understand your frustration. Knocking out a quick compressed file from AE for client review is handy.
However, maintaining the h.264 encoding in AE took up development time. There are only so many person-hours per week for the (relatively tiny) AE team to spend on building each version of AE.
I never liked AE's h.264 encoding - AME has always done a superior job. Since we have AME to do our encoding, I would rather the AE team focus their effort on improving AE as a compositing and motion graphics tool rather than as an encoding tool.
Again, I get the frustration. I can see where it feels like they are doing what's good for them and not us, but I think, in the long run, this way is better for us. Right now, the majority of the AE team is working on making AE faster to work with and faster to render. The sooner we get a relatively bug-free version of that, the better! (Especially for folks on Mac OSX Yosemite who can't RAM preview smoothly in any version of AE).
And at least the After Effects team has been very transparent about things - for example, this blog post talks about their reasoning: using Adobe Media Encoder to create H.264, MPEG-2, and WMV videos from After Effects

How do I create a print button to print a specific range of the document. I've found JavaScript to print a specific page, but a range or even multiple ranges. Form is created in Adobe 9 Pro. Any help would be truly appreciated!

Sure, I'll give it a test. Its just that I have a 128 page form that not all of it needs to be printed.
Currently, I have an index page where I want to set up a print button queues per form, however there are several form scattered throughout the document that make up a specific section, but it does not require printing the entire document. Does that make sense?
I did find this JavaScript during my reseach, but have not be able to get it to work.

Error when creating interval for number range object

I am trying to transport my BW stuff from QA to Production and I am getting the following error in the transport logs. The info objects are inactive in RSA1.

I now have 5 off occurrences listed as being open despite the fact that they were all created on 2 off laptops, neither of which has now got itunes activated

Unable to create WebChart for different ranges

Actually I'm trying to create two Web Charts on single page and I have placed the chart contents (** data) into two sheets. When I tried to create chart for first range, it has got created successfully.
But couldn't create for second range and getting some error like "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation".
Range 1: Sheet1!$A$1:$B$4 - chart has got created successfully
Range 2: Sheet2!$F$2:$G$5 - getting specified error

Do you have a Mac?
Running iOS sync, you don't initiate manual syncs - it just happens as you add/mod/delete contacts. Did you by chance add a Facebook or Twitter account to a device via iOS settings? Facebook can alternatively sync all your friends' contacts into your Contacts app. If that's not it, suggest downloading the contacts into a vCard, importing into a client that can read them, fix them all, then if you have a Mac, re-import into Contacts on Mountain Lion (Address Book on Lion). That should fix it.

Different No. Ranges for the GR in one client.

The rquirement is as follows:
We have two different company codes in one client . These two company codes have their respective plants assigned to it. The GR No. range should be different for different plants as this is the requirement for the client.
Let me know that how we can create the document type for the GR's so that we can assigh the different No. range for the different plants.

I also know that different number ranges in this situation are not possible and as per your suggessation we can create a new document in OBF4 and assign new number range to it but this assigned number range will be applicable to whole client, that means suppose we are doing a goods receipts in different plants of different company codes in same client the number range assigned to the goods receipt document will be from the same number range but my requirement is whether it is possible to assign different number ranges to goods receipt for two different plants.

Creating a target group based on the BP email address only in CRM

I am currently trying to create a target group based on the business partner email address only.
I have a list of over 1000 email addresses - these email addresses equate to a BP in our CRM system, however I do not have a list of the equivalent business partner numbers, all I have to work on are the email addresses. With these 1000 BP email addresses I need to update the marketing attributes of each of these 1000 BP records in CRM.
What I need is a method to find the 1000 BP numbers based on the email addresses and then use the marketing expert tool (tx. CRMD_MKT_TOOLS) to change the marketing attributes on all of the 1000 BPs.
The issue I am having is how can I find the list of BP numbers just based on the BP email address, I tried creating an infoset based on table BUT000, BUT020 and ADR6 but I after creating attribute list & data source for this I am stuck on what to do next. In the attribute list the selection criteria does not allow me to import a file for the selection range. I can only enter a value but I have 1000 email addresses and cannot possibly email them manually in the filter for the attribute list.   I also looked at imported a file into the target group but I do not have any BP numbers so this will not work.
Does anyone know a method where I can create a target group based on the email addresses only without having to do any code?
Any help would be most appreciated.

So, on the Extreme you checked the box to "allow this network to be extened" ?

And on the Express, you set it up to "Extend a wireless network" ?

MXF file plays with audio on Source Monitor but timeline imports only the video

Hello,
This started happening like a few hours ago. But it was working perfectly before! This is driving me insane!
This is the situation (Premiere CC, updated to latest version):
- I have a bunch of MXF files and if I play them on the Source Monitor, audio and video play perfectly.
- The moment I drag the MXF file onto the timeline, only the video is imported, not the audio.
- I tried to drag only the audio, using the different ways that Premiere provides but it won't come at all.
I managed to import audio and video doing the following: close all sequences, and drag the MXF file in the timeline with no sequence opened thus it will create a sequence with the imported audio and video from the MXF file.
BUT if I try to drop the SAME MXF file in this brand new sequence, only the video will come again.
Does anyone have an idea of what is going on? And why it suddenly stopped working?
