My 2nd genertion Apple TV is not resuming playback that has been paused. Just starts at the beginning . Anyone else seeing this?
Anyone seeing their 2nd generation Apple TV not resuming after being paused? Mine doesn't offer the "resume playback" just starts the episode over. I Have reset the device, I have unplugged and rebooted. No change . Was working fine 1 month ago.
The setting you mention are in iTunes on my computer, but the podcasts I am watching aren't stored on my computer. I am setting the few podcasts that are to remember position and will see if that resolves the problem

Not on iCloud itself - what you need is 'iTunes Match' which seeks to find versions in the Store of songs you already have, and failing that allows you to upload your own copies. This will cost you $24.99 per year; it does not count towards your 5GB free iCloud space. Limit 25,000 songs (purchased songs do not count towards this limit). The other sections of the iTunes store seem to have errors as well.I've seen a couple of other threads in the last 10 minutes posting about problem with the store, both have now replied saying that it's working again for them - you could give it another go and see if it's now ok for you

Recently upgraded my iphone 4 to ios 5. I have a problem with imessage and sms. I have some contacts that I don't want to send sms to ever. So I set the "Send As SMS = off" thinking it would not ever send sms(unless I set it to). However, in the middle of imessage conversation with almost a full 3G signal it just sent as SMS. Then back to imessage. Totaly ignored the do no send sms setting.Has anyone else seen this issue? I wish the they would seperate these two apps so they could never cross up. Some people only have data and others have both.
CTRL+0 (<--that is a zero) will reset your zoom level on affected pages. Firefox remembers the zoom level you last used on a page.

I have windows on my mac which was installed at the apple store. I have lost audio and cannot connect to the internet on the windows side. Mac is ok. apple genius and tech support can't help me and say I need to go to microsoft. In fact the tech support was unaware that windows was loaded on by the apple retail store. Has anyone else had this problem?I recently bought fusion thinking this would help bridge between the two( as told by the genius bar) but it didn't help.Any ideas?
hey mate i used to have the same problem and i got computers maintenance guys out to fix it in the end and all it was, was the router.. got a new one and it was all good after that! i think some routers just arent compatible for some reason or another.

Sorry saker, but if you have not backed up your data anywhere, and you told the computer, in essence to clear the data and restore it with your iPod data, then you are pretty much out of luck....

How to download an app *not* from icloud that has been downloaded before with a different account?

If an app has been downloaded before even with an account other than the one I am signed in with, it shows the cloud icon and asks me for the password of the other account.
How do I download it with the account I am currently logged in with?

Well I said this is happening on an iPad. Reread what is happening from the beginning of the thread, and tell me if the instructions are correct for the iPad. Are you prompted for passwords from a different account that previously downloaded the app on the iPad?

I am logged in with my account, let's call it A. It shows account A next to Apple ID in the lower left of the Featured page.
When I search for Google Search, and click the cloud download icon next next to the Google Search app, it prompts me for the password to a different account. Let's call it B.
In the app store it shows a cloud download icon next to every app that has ever been downloaded on this iPad, regardless of whether it is account A, B, C, etc
Have you tried logging in with a different account to test this? -
I am sick to death of my phone charger breaking ive had 10 this year ive spent over 50 pounds on them and they have all done the same thing at the head of the charger they start to ruffle and then just give up. You need to fix this ASAP.
If that is the case.
a) bending of the wire can cause the rubber at the lightning port head which eventually starts ripping.
b) stretching the wire will cause wear and tear in the rubber at the lightning head point which is the weakest in the cable.
c) flexing the lightning port head will again damage the rubber and the wires inside.
all in all, proper maintainence of the charger should be kept. Ensure that you're purchasing a standard charging cable. If it helps, use electric tape at the small joint on the lightning charge to stop that area from bending. It's unappealing but it reduces the damages to your charger. The new lightning cable is evidentally weaker than the original apple cable.

I have a IPad Air and when I download any game from Big Fish the game will not open to play . I have tried everything to get the games to work - reboot, delete, restart my IPad everything. I can download games from other places like G5 games play fine. I have connected Big Fish and they told me that they tried the games I was having trouble with on a iPad air and the games play fine - don't get it . Can anyone HELP

Have you tried logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and seeing if it then works on it ?

When i plug my iphone into my computer and try to sync it with my itues library, a message comes up saying I can't sync until i update itues. When i try to update itunes, a message pops up that says itunes cannot find a pathway to my computer and it tells me to find a pathway. I have no idea what this means and i have played around with it for weeks now. Can anyone help me??
The first message says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resorce that is unavaliable. Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package." Then when i click ok a message that pops up says "The path cannot be found. (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
