My 30 pin cable is stuck in my usb extender i got with my mac

I got a usb extension cable with my mac, that is supposed to be used with your keyboard. But i plugged my iphone cable in it, and now it is stuck. My previous mac also got this cable with it, and the hole in the new usb extender seems narrower than the previous, so my cable is stuck. How can i separate the two cables? Or should I go to a reseller?

I would suggest that you contact Apple (store, email or phone) and arrange to have the cable exchanged as soon as possible. I would also suggest that you stop plugging it into your computer until you do as you don't want to damage the USB port on your computer.

Is your DV camera plugged in to AC power (not batteries only)? When you step down from 9 pins to 4 pins, you lose the "power" pins.

There are no specific Drivers for ANY display on a Mac.
Instead, the Mac asks the display for its name and capabilities, and sets the resolution of an independent display based on those answers. However, VGA is not the best way to interface, and the resolution may limited by the grapahics card.

S-video on 7-pin cable problem

Hi, I have problem with my s-video on laptop 3000 N200 (0769). When I connecting s-video 7-pin cable to the laptop - other side to TV (chinch), nothing happend. No CTRL+F7, no detection even when I try open gma control panel. BUT when I connecting 4-pin cable to the laptop - other side to TV (chinch) I have a black & white picture, when I click on gma control panel icon. So the s-video is working but seems only on 4-pin cable (but why in B&W?) And why s-video doesn't work on 7-pin cable ?? Any sugestions?

First of all, I can't enter to the options of GMA when I'm connected with 7-pin s-video (because there are no connection/nothing happen) These options only enable when I connect 4-pin svideo to laptop. And then I could change PAL/NTSC - but there are no changes. My TV don't have option to change system, I'm from Poland so I believe it is PAL system BUT What's going on with this 7-pin connector??????? Cable was check on another laptop with 7-pin input - guest what? There was beautiful COLOR picture - cable is OK.

Or you can just get an adapter and use your existing FireWire 400 cable.

Or you can use a standard Ethernet cable and use +Fire Sharing+. Both your Macs would have gigabit Ethernet ports, so as long as the cable is Cat-5e or better, it would be pretty fast.

My mechanical design team wants to know the measurements of the 160-Pin Cable for the NI PXI-2530B. It will be a while before we receive the cable we ordered. What dimensions are you looking for?
I'm a little surprised that the length of the cables is not included in the datasheets (I did just look!) - I thought that when I ordered cables for the older-style PXI-2530 modules in my lab that the length was specified in the part description.
If you need the dimensions of the connectors, you can do a little reverse-engineering and identify the dimensions of the various components. The connector to the module is an LFH-160. The Digikey P/N for the body of a connector is WM4099-ND. It may be difficult to find the dimensions of the backshells, however. The 4 terminal block connectors are standard 50-pin D-Subs. There are many examples out whose dimensions you can review.

It's in recovery mode. Plug it into your computer running iTunes and restore it.

Did you try restoring using Recovery Mode? Sometimes you have to perform the steps a few times before it works.

jpmarkques post is a good start point, after folling his directions, you can try detect displays. Also try different rsolution and refresh rates.
Most of the projectors I have used support a 1024X768 res.
Youcan also try a pram reset if it still does not detect.
Leave theproctor connected and powered up, power down the MBP.
Power back up the MBP and hold the following keys before you hear the start up chime:
Option, command, P,R (no commas) continue to hold these keys till you hear the start up chime 2 times.

But he said that even though I have a 3 year warranty and protection plan with them, they were not responsible for this type of problem. Whatever.
Anyway, so I called Apple Help, and even though he was familiar with my problem, it's been more than 90 days since I purchased the laptop, therefore I'd have to set up a service agreement to get his assistance, meaning I'd have to PAY him. So now i'm stuck, and I'm just hoping somebody knows what to do to help me
I don't have any disc that I apparently need, and I don't remember ever getting one. However, if there is some other way to fix this issue, please let me know. Thanks for your time and assistance

I'm afraid you'll have to get the phone serviced, dropping the phone must have damaged additional parts inside the phone.
But Apple will not service the phone anymore, opening the phone and replacing the battery should only be done by authorized personal, not by users.
You'll have to look for a 3rd party repair shop and see if they can fix this, sorry.

Canon T3i download cable will no longer work after 10.10 download. Plugging the cable into the 15 inch laptop says not compatible with software. Was fine before the 10.10 upgrade.

I have a DSC-T1 Sony camera. I also have a Panasonic video camera with a built in digital camera. I just took some shots with the Panasonic. Plugged it in, and it worked perfectly. iphoto opened and did what it was supposed to do. I then tried the Sony and nothing happened again.
