My 30GB iPod battery last only for 1 year and 2 months.
i got my ipod in makati city, philippines at the PowerMac center in Greenbelt 3, ayala center.. now i have to buy a new battery for my ipod for me to use it again.. but i just want to know find out why is my ipod battery didn't last that long?. and if i am going to get it replaced, then how much will i pay for?. i check it online, but the price maybe different if i get there in manila or somewhere here in the philippines coz everything here is expensive to buy..
it sometimes become double the price.. so i want to know if could get it cheaper coz i broke my ipod just after the warranty period last (the 1 year warranty)..

OAYC can not modify the the last depreciation posting year and month
Dear all,
I will set the asset last depreciation posting fiscal year and period, but, in the OAYC T-CODE, the fiscal year and period feilds is unabled.
use F1 key, the detail message is :
Fiscal year of last depreciation posting
In this field, the system enters the fiscal year for which depreciation was last posted. If legacy data transfer is carried out during the course of the fiscal year, you must manually update this field.
The field is not available for input if legacy data not transferred within the fiscal year, or if depreciation is not posted in this depreciation area.
But I do not how to correct it .

Answer for your query is available in your question only.

There are 2 ways to upload the legacy asset to the SAP system.
1) Legacy asset upload at previous fiscal year end
2) Legacy asset upload during current fiscal year
When you use the 2nd method only, system will allows you to enter those last posted dep period and fiscal year OAYC.
In this context your legacy asset transfer date should fall within the current fiscal year.
Ex: If your FY is APR2MAR, then your transfer date cannot be the end date of last closed fiscal year.(31.03.2009)
It should be like 30.04.2009 or 31.05.2009 or 30.06.2009 and so on.............

How to calculate year and month
Dear Friends
I have to make a customised report.In this report there are different buckets of one year from the year and month being entered by the user.
For example if user is giving input value for year and month as 200912 then system has to show data in first bucket for the period 200912 to 200901.In the second bucket system will show data for period 200812 to 200801.In this way system has to show data in 11 buckets for 11 years.
Is there any function module/BAPI in SAP through which system will calculate period of one year for different buckets for my report from the input value(year and month) being given by the user.

I've two iPod Nanos (4th gen - 8GB). I'm facing a severe problem with both of them. For both iPods, I tried to do this method Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button. But of no use.
1. My first iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?
2. My second iPod is facing more severe problem. None of the buttons are working. When I connect it my PC it showing "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting". But it is not ejecting with all the usual methods. When I manually and physically disconnect it from the PC the same "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting" is still showing till the battery goes off. After that if i press any button it is showing low battery signal. And when i re-connect it to the PC the same process is repeating. When I tied to restore it to the factory settings I'm getting "Error" report.
(I'm using windows 7)

R.SAMALASounds like some hardware issues, meaning you'll want to take or send the iPods in for service or repairs. You can choose to have Apple do an out of warranty exchange for the prices indicated in the link below or find another third party service perhaps even local to your area.

Three hours if definitely NOT normal. I get at least 48 hours out my 2 year old iPhone 4S' battery with light usage. Did you do the iOS 7 update on the phone it self (OTA) or through iTunes? In my experience most problems are caused by the OTA updates. For this reason I ALWAYS update using iTunes on my computer.
I would suggest restoring your phone using iTunes on your computer and setting it us as a new phone. This downloads a fresh copy of iOS 7.1 from Apple and installs it on your phone. Just make sure that you transfer all purchased items (apps, music, etc.) as well as photos to your computer before restoring as the restore will completely wipe your phone. Do not restore from a back-up. Yes, you will loose all your data on the phone but restoring a back-up can restore the problem you are currently having back to your phone. Once your phone has been restored you can manually sync back your apps and music.
Before restoring you can also check to see that battery-killers like Location Services, Background App Refresh, etc are only turned on for the apps that really need it. I recently read and article that said that the Facebook app can be a real battery killer. If you have this app installed turn of location services and background app refresh for this app and see if that helps. Also go to Settings / General / Restrictions / Location Services / System Services and turn off all the options in that menu. Your phone does not need any of those to function. Constantly using your phone's GPS is a huge battery killer. I only have Location Services enabled for Find my iPhone and Background App Refresh is turned off completely.

I have been taking photos for years and have thousands. When I use Apple TV screen saver, it seems only to grab a handfull and repeats them. Is there a configuration setting that will allow me to have the screen saver grab more than just a few? Thanks.
The device has an 8GB drive for caching streamed meida, a small portion of that is used to temporarily store photos for the screensaver. It may vary depending on resolution etc but it seems to be around 100.

EEEgads, I have used ITUNES for my Ipod Shuffle for years and now it is a nightmare with 11.0, I can't find my Ipod when I connect to Itunes, it is a new Win 7 PC. It used to show up on left side and I would slide podcasts right over to it for years, I have installed 3x with removing old install. You need to "authorize" the Mac.
Launch iTunes on the Mac then from the iTunes menu bar top of your screen click Store > Authorize This Computer.
Now, using the same Apple ID as you used to purchased iTunes media originally, you should be able to sync all your content.

to monitor battery life.
You should be able to read everything from the software.

Bought an iPod Classic. First iPod, had a Zen for years, I want to transfer my music library, approximately 15,000 songs without creating an iTunes Media library. All of the music is currently in WMA format. As you can imagine, 15,000 songs takes up a lot of space and I do not wnat it duplicated on my harddrive in an iTunes Media Library. You can't put wma files on an iPod classic. You can't put files onto an iPod without adding them to a media library first.
