My 3GS iphone always go into 'network lost'!
my 3GS iphone is constantly going into network lost and 'no service'. Each time that happens, I have to go through a lengthy process of re-starting the phone which is painful! Additionally, the call drops while i am on conversation. My colleagues always complain that they cant call me the first time because the phone appears to be off but get thru after the subsequent attempts.
I checked with my service provider (Celcom) and they said there is no problem with its setting. I checked with the other service provider that I bought the phone from (Maxis) and they said that there is nothing wrong with the phone as well. I am lost.
I am a heavy user of data (I hv data unlimited package). My Yahoo msg and other online applications are turned on most of the time. I am not sure why I continue to have this problem. Recently, thinking that the service provider coverage could be bad, I changed the phone, but for a week, but I never had such problem.
Anyone faced similar problems and is there a solution for this? Thanks much

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of your issue. If you are no longer seeing the app in question on your iPhone, but it is showing as purchased on the App Store, you should be able to redownload it directly. You may find the following article helpful:

Try to put your iPhone in Recovery mode and then Restore it to Factory settings and see if you are able to get into your iPhone.

I have tried inserting all sims cards that i have been using on the same phone but i still get this message. kindly, help me on this matter. i have also tried to restart the phone but nothing has changed.

dlungu22Sounds like the device was hacked to unlock, and after an update or restore, the device is locked back again. You will have to find out who the carrier was the device was locked to, see if they provide unlocking services and if you qualify.

3GS iPhone Backup, Recognition Issues With iTunes 9.2
Since "upgrading" to iTunes 9.2, our computer's iTunes can no longer successfully back up my 3GS iPhone (always encounters an "unknown error") and it will no longer recognize my husband's iPhone 3GS at all. Because I upgraded iTunes before installing the OS 4 iPhone update on my husband's iPhone (although not my own), it seems to me that the problem is with the iTunes software update itself, not the iPhone OS update. I searched the forums, and saw that others seem to be having similar issues, although I didn't see a solution anywhere. Does anyone know of a solution, and/or whether Apple is working out whatever this bug is with iTunes 9.2? UGH - so. frustrating. Thanks!
just an fyi...i set up mobileme yesterday and had all my contacts, calendars, etc. synced and ready to go. so i hooked up my iphone to itunes and i "set up as new" and it didn't delete anything and it just synced fine.
i'm not saying the same thing will happen to yours but it seems that just going through the new iphone setup as a new phone just worked. i wouldn't do a restore unless it's really recent.
so, go ahead and try to just set up as new and you should be fine...i was. -

I use iPhone 4S .earlier with ios 6 and now ios 6.while I connect the charger for charging my phone network lost while midway in charging.that problem always while 3G connection is active.but this problem not arise while 3G mode off.please help me.

but it doesn't solve the problem. I even tried to restore to factory setting and replacing the antenna but still the same problem " always searching for network". I referred this problem on 2 repair shop but they said it related to motherboard. Is there service center for apple in Singapore or Philippines? No, you cannot. You cannot access the file system in the iPhone or iPad, so there is no way for you to browse other drives.

My iPhone 3GS cannot access the 3G network after upgrading to OS5. I have checked with my operator and shows that their 3G network is working fine. Only cannot access through the phone. When I enable 3G, there will be no service for my phone. Wifi is working fine.

No. If you have 5.0.1, then you will get 5.0.1 back. Restoring should still fix it though. I would prefer to have you back up to iCloud, because there are many known issues/errors when trying to restore via iTunes on iOS 5 or later. -
