I downloaded the software update today (it didn't say 2.0 but that's what I figure it is)
And right after the update finished, I got a message from iTunes saying "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The network connection was reset. Make sure your network connection is active and try again."
After seeing this message, I have tried to sync my phone again four times and turned it off and back on.
I cannot use my phone!!!! It just gives me the emergency screen What can I do to fix this? This is not cool! I was looking forward to using apps........If you open it in a sound-editing application or iTunes, it will tell you the format. In iTunes, just click on the sound clip and select Info to get the info for the file (format, duration, etc.).

<Edited by Host>The problem is your phone was illegally unlocked and jailbroken. When you upgraded it took the unlock off and now it is locked to the original carrier it was locked to. You will not be able to unlock it now.

i have an iphone 4, i connect it to my laptop using the usb and then when connecting to itunes it says my phone is not up to date with itunes yet i cannot find an update 11.1 for my phones itunes? someone please help me.. kind regards
Itunes 11.1 is for your computer, not your iphone

I have tried to update IOS 5.1 in my Iphone 4 and unfortunately I got an error message and phone is stucked at restore point. Then you should talk to that person. Apple won't help you if the iOS was downloaded illegally, and since this is their community, due to Terms of Use, no one here will help you either.

Most likely your phone is carrier locked to a different carrier than the SIM card you're using. It will activate and operate only with the carrier to which it's locked.

My husband and I both have Iphone 4's. I do not receive any text messages that he sends me. He gets mine though. He sends texts to other iphone users and they get them. I get text messages from other phones including iphones. Please help.
Both of yall need to go to settings, meassages, send and recieve, scroll down to start new conversation from, and make sure you have different email addresses with a check mark beside it. Right now sounds like they are the same email addresses.

Unless the photos are synced somewhere to your computer or somewhere else I don't believe you can.

That is almost always because the phone was hacked to illegally unlock it. Contact the carrier it's locked to and ask about having it legitimately unlocked. If they will not do so, you will not be able to activate that phone.
