Ok, so I just went to Australia from NZ and the same thing happened to me. I was so annoyed as I couldn't text, ring or anything. I returned to NZ this morning, rang telecom and they said it's a hardware issue and talked me through this:
Settings, Phone, SIM applications, roaming menu, manual, select your provider, accept.
Go through each stage and this fixed the problem!!

My iPhone 5 keeps saying sim failure and invalid sim I need help please!?!?!
I really need help I just got my iPhone 5 yesterday and its telling me "sim failure" and then "invalid sim" shows up on the top left corner. I had an android before so I didn't need a SIM card so I went to apple and they gave me one and them went to sprint to activate my iPhone to my number but it still shows those annoying messages!!!
this is my second nano sim and i made an appointment at apple and they swapped my iphone for a new one and still the same should i call customer service? its getting me so ****** cause i have to pop the sim slot everytime it tells me sim failure so it can go back to normal then in 5 mins it shows up again

Message saying cant connect to iTunes. I've tried ipad, iPhone, mac a d all the same. I've reset router/ broadband connection and I've tested which is all fine. It's just iTunes I can't connect to - I've signed out and it won't now let me sign back in. Please help!!

I have restored my iPod touch 4G to the iOS 4.3.5, then I tryed to update/restore with the iOS 5 and it pops an error saying my device isn't eligible for this build, how can I solve this issue?

This device is not eligible for the requested build: Also sometimes displayed as an "error 3194." If you receive this alert, update to the latest version of iTunes. Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, follow Troubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to performunauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. First you must uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer, then edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from the hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you do not uninstall the unauthorized modification software prior to editing the hosts file, that software may automatically modify the hosts file again on restart. If you regulalry back up your phones in itunes, and havent backed up your phone since this happed, then connect to itunes, click on the restore button under the summary tab and restore your phone from your back up. Then turn on private browsing after thats done.

my iPhone 4s keeps showing more space being used for photos than i have -
i have deleted cache folders, unselect and reselect in iTunes I read one post
where they said keep syncing and in a couple days it would correct itself, that
hasnt happened. I have see others have the same issue but no solution and nothing
appears to work my iPhone still shows 6.5 gig use of photos when i only have the camera roll listedi thought the photo stream only holds 1000 i usuaaly take each month and save them to iphoto but if thats the my ipad should say the same amount and it doesnt - it shows 2.5 gig which is correct for iphoto. and i havent ever had that much but if for some reason icloud has that much saved how do i delete and again if it does why doesnt ipad show that amount _ HELP!

The screen shows problems with iCloud only choices are ignore or settings, however nothing I do will unlock it from this screen, cannot power off keeps that bubble on the screen. What do I do?
Try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
Why wont my Tv Show Download? it only says "download error. tap to retry" and tapping doesnt work it just keeps on saying the same thing.
It appears in the download section of my itunes.
I downloaded a season of Iron Man Anime and all of the episodes except episode 1 was downloaded. I looked at the error and it says "error = -50" and when I try to resume downloading, it continues to tell me that there is a download error and it wont resume.
It also says to check my network connection, but I'm connected. So....I'm not sure what to do...this kind of ticks me off. -

Button Rollover keeps shifting on hover - Firefox only

I have a shopping cart button rollover that keeps on shifting
a few pixels whenever you roll over it. Strangely, this only

Well ... now that's the rub. I would actually welcome this intermediate version to play with (even with the cost of upgrading) if I could rely on it to be finalized into 6.0, full featured, without it taking as long as it has to Upgrade from AA3.0. I would say it was a VERY smart move to give us a preview of 6.0, if I felt in, say, six months they would provide us the fully functional update. But, HOW many years has it been. I felt screwed over while they played around with Sound Booth.
I was with you for a minute in most of what you said, until your credibility went down a couple notches with me on the statement trivializing midi functionality. I though that was a very clueless statement:
"but I have no need for a midi controller and if I want a drummer to keep perfect time I'll get a drum machine."
