You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.

And you changed the format of BOOTCAMP which was FAT32 to NTFS
Windows 7 - I would not try to install on a partition smaller than 50GB for 64-bit version, probably 40GB for 32-bit, and you never want to go with less than double what the minimum.
You need to remove the partition Boot Camp Assistant and create a larger partition.
There is a busted "download drivers" but as you know by now, that has NEVER worked and yet here we are 9 months later and no confirmation or fix.

I installed ios7 and thought it was an upgrade. When I tried to restart it, it asked for a passcode. I have not used the passcode thingy for over a year so i typed it in and after several tries it says that it is disabled. How can I fix this? I need help, I am now in the middle east and not near any Apple service center. I need my iPad.
I hope someone from Apple sees this and has a remedy. I have itunes on my PC but I have never backed up the ipad or even connected it to the PC.

If you bought it used, try the internet recovery suggested - using Command + Option + R and then wiping your drive before reinstalling is the only way to disassociate the OS and apps from the previous owner's Apple ID. You can then add your own apps, upgrade, etc. using your own Apple ID.
If it's new, then there is an entirely different problem as your Apple ID should work.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Go into iCloud on your computer and turn off Find My iPhone for the one you sold.

The app must have been purchased using your friends account. This means that the app belongs to your friend.
You need to buy your own copy.

It is saying that the iPod does not have enough free storage to sync all the items yu have selected to sync to the iPod. You need 2.48 GB more free on the iPod. You need either to select less to sync or delete some content form the iPod.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. Hope my iPod stays healthy, if it doesnt its a warrenty job me thinks any way thanks again
