MY 4S WAS ACTING A LITTLE STICKY SO I DID A NETWORK AND PHONE RESET. PHONE WONT ACCEPT CALLS OR COMPLETE THEM. 2 BLEEPS AND THE CALLS ARE DROPPED . I ALSO DID A RESTORE AFTER THAT AND STILL THE SAME PROBLEM. HELP ANYONE

reset all settings
settings-general-reset-reset all settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes

Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)

Iphone wont make calls

i did the update like 3 or 4 days ago and the phone has been working fine up till now... everytime i try to make a call it acts like its trying to do something but then the call fails every time and i have full service to....internet is working and so is itunes but i cant make calls. is there anything i can do?

i just found out that i can make calls while my iphone is docked but it still wont make calls when its undocked!

Restore the phone as New, and do not reload your backup. If you still have a problem with it you have a hardware problem.

Iphone 4s wont make calls or send texts/ iMessage not working

My iPhone 4s just recently started showing 'No Service" in the top left corner of the screen and iMessage will not activate either. It switches off from no service to having service. I cannot make calls either. Ive tried calling *228 but my phone will not make the call. I cant send regular text messages either it just comes back as message failed to send. As you can see this is very frustrating as I need my phone to do the basics of texting and calling. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some things to try.
Call Customer Service and ask them to check your local towers
Hard reset of the phone.
Reset the Networks on the phone settings. Settings > General > scroll to bottom > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Back up to iTunes on a computer and restore

Wont Make calls/texts and cannot use internet

The other day I was texting someone then suddenly there was an error sending message then ever since then I can't text anyone, make any calls or use the internet. I can receive texts and calls just not make them.
My payment isn't due untill the 2nd, I have gone over my contract but I have enough money in my bank account to pay for this... :S So I don't know if this will affect it...
I've tried restoring it to factory settings and resetting everything but that didn't help.

Nah I haven't done that yet, was planning to do so today but wanted to see if I could get any online help before... Am just checking to see if there is an easy solution or anything..

Droid Incredible 4G Wont make calls

I am experiencing a painfully frustrating delay everytime I try to make a call. I will dial the number and hit call.,..nothing happens. I will select the contact from the list....nothing happens. I will hit the call button to redial the last call....nothing happens. then finally after 2-5 minutes, the phone will suddenly spring to life and make the call. And if I tried to make the call several times, it makes several calls all at once to the same person. Has anyone else experienced this? Did you fix it? I've already done a factory reset and it keeps happening.

This seems to be odd, that you are still having even after you done a factory resest. How long has this problem been going on? Do you have a lot of 3rd party apps on the phone? Another question I have is, how long have you had the device? Is there any physical or liquid damage to the device? Also, have you tried to remove the sim card and place it back into the device? http://vz.to/Nbru3z Please keep me posted.

I had this same problem, but it seems to have disappeared after I discovered that Bluetooth was on and turned it off (General menu in the Settings app).

You ARE roaming. You turned off your data, but you are still roaming when making calls, and texting. If you blocked all roaming then you wouldn't be able to make calls/text or receive calls/text.

My iPhone 3G can make calls and i can hear them but they cant hear me......

I just got my iPhone 3G yesterday and when I make calls, that person can talk to me and I can hear them, but when I talk they cant hear me. It has nothing to do with the mute button though. I'm having the same exact problem with my new iPhone but I bought mine at an AT&T store, can I still take it to the Genius bar to be replaced?
I dread going to the AT&T store like no other, but all of the LA and OC area Apple stores had been out of the 8g iPhone for days and I couldn't wait any longer to get one. I'm hoping this doesn't mean I have to take it there...

Wont recieve or let me make calls!! along with texts..

Ok so its a blackberry 8530, it wont let me make calls, just says 'call failed' also wont allow people to call me. This is the same for texts, im not sure if this has something to do with it, but it doesnt seem to tell me my number? For example in the call log, it says 'my number:' but blank... and then also on options>SIM card> the 'phone number' is blank to. im not sure what to do, please help!

Ok, in that case, it can only be one of two things. One may be that you're just in an area with very bad reception. The other thing is that you may need to contact Vodafone to see if it's a problem with a setting on their end.
Beyond that and assuming things are working correctly on Vodafone's end, the only thing left to try is to reload the OS and see if that will help. You can do that by following these instructions:

If that still doesn't work, I'm not sure what to say, but if the device is still under warranty, you might be looking at sending it for warranty service.
