My 4th gen i-pod touch keeps losing itunes match Does anyone know why?
I-Tunes match doesn't work on my I-pod. Whenever I try to switch it on it just keeps turning off again. Any ideas to resolve this problem would be gratefully received

I'm in cycle mode, and 'merge' is clicked in preferences. However, when I record, my previous track data keeps getting overwritten. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong. Interestingly, I can still see the data in the region.

Would like to use iMessages internationally, sending between an iPod touch and and iPhone. Does anyone know if it will work between countries?
The iPhone is not user servicable. You can get an out of warranty replacement from Apple for $149. If you open the phone yourself, you forfeit the ability to do this.

WRT54GR. I set security but it keeps on getting disabled. Anyone know why?
I've had my router for a while now. Just recently I was having trouble getting online when using the router but my connection was fine without it. I then got that resolved. When I checked I saw that all of my security settings were disabled. I went back in and set them all up again. When I connected then through either my laptop or my TIVO it keeps showing up that my network is unsecured. Does anyone know why this would keep happening?
Router might have been resetted by you or any power surge.

My MacBook Pro is really hot and the fan is on constantly. It didn't use to do this, does anyone know why this is happening? I have a very short battery life, so I have to keep it plugged in probably more than I should.
Open Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder. Select All Processes from the Processes dropdown menu. Click twice on the CPU% column header to display in descending order. If you find a process using a large amount of CPU time, then select the process and click on the Quit icon in the toolbar. Click on the Force Quit button to kill the process. See if that helps. Be sure to note the name of the runaway process so you can track down the cause of the problem.

does anyone know why my iphone keeps switching all of my alert tones and ringtones assigned to contacts? i restored it and it still keeps doing it and now when ever i get a txt or a phone call the tones just sound terrible. how do i fix this?
Your only chance is setting it up as new device without using the latest backup afterwards, which you already did.

Every time I turn the computer off or put it in sleep mode... when I come back my wallpaper is gone. I have to keep going back to my pics and getting it back.
Does anyone know why this keeps happening??Are you choosing it from one of these folders (in my screenshot) or you can also put that picture into the correct folder. The path is:
HD > Library > Desktop Pictures
If you add it to the folder manually, please restart your computer.
And yes, letting it sleep is a good idea, or else the startup disk will spin and the screen may suffer from image persistence if you leave a window or image parked in the same spot too long, so the screensave is a good idea. -

We need more information. Does it happen with multiple cords? Have you tried plugging into multiple outlets and usb ports? Have you tried restoring back to factory settings to see if it is a software issue?

Both Podcasts and audiobooks are synced using a separate tick box from the music. So, connect your iPod to iTunes and check the Device/Podcasts (and Books for the audiobooks) and make sure that the relevant box is ticked to enable syncing.
If you need to change the setting (that is, if you need to put the tick back on), you should perform a sync afterwards to make sure the change has been updated onto the iPod.

Resolution Problem with External Screen
I hooked up a 26" LCD TV to my iMac. When I go into the resolutions tab it only gives me 4:3 resolution which stretches on my 16:9 TV. I tried SwtichResX to set a custom resolution but it did not work. Anyone have any ideas?
