My 4th Gen ipod is frozen on the language page. I have tried restoring it but it keeps going back to the language page and frozen. Help!

My 4th generation ipod nano is frozen of thealnguage screen. I have tried to restore it but it keeps getting frozen on that same screen. My wheel is unresponsive. I have also reset it with no results.
Do I need to have it repaired and if so is it cheaper to just buy a new one?

Depends on how much you are willling to spend on repairs as well as where you decide to send it in for repairs. Apple won't actually repair the iPod but instead will swap it out for a refurbished unit of the same generation and capacity. So it would be a bit cheaper to send it to a 3rd party repair center who will actually swap out the damaged/faulty parts.

Well, I fixed it and was able to download the latest Apple TV update. This is to help anyone who has this problem with an older Apple TV. On Apple's website it suggested that you "reset" and restart the Apple TV setting it back to the Factory default. That is what I ended up doing and it worked. Then all you have to do is sign on again and set up Netflix. I also set my Apple TV to download updates automatically now.
Good luck to all those having this problem. It took me months to solve this.

Ok so I am trying to login to my YouTube account on the app on my iPad, but when I do it tells me I must sign in on the website first, so I do but I still can't login on the app. I have tried multiple times but no luck. What might the problem be??

Welcome to the Support Communities! If you are unable to login with your User Admin password when you restart your Macbook Pro, you may need to reset it using your Apple ID. The link below will explain how:

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. The appointment is free.

I disabled all my computer's firewalls and sure enough, IT WORKED!! My iPod is updated and just now finishing restoring! Thank you SOOOO SOOO much. : D

If you get an error that says can't backup, try moving the existing backup file to a safe location and thry again. again. You can find the location of the backup file here:

It seems I have solved my own problem . . . well hopefully !! ;-)
I was using a 'non' Apple cable. When I swithced to using the stock cable that came with my iPhone, iTunes can now see that I have a 'Device' and identifies it correctly as my iPhone.
Hopefully this may help others . . . ?

Try this:
1. Double-click the Home button and hold apps in the Task Bar down until they all wiggle then tap the minus sign to close apps. Tap the home button to return to Home screen.
2. Hold the Sleep/Wake and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.
