My 4th Gen. Ipod touch wont start up.....HELP!!!!!!!!!!!1

Question

My ipod touch just turned off one day and it seemed like the battery just died so I thought nothing of it. Later I plugged it in to be charged. Ever since no matter where I plug it in it shows the battery life, which is completely drained, and the plug in lightning bolt sign. Ive tried about 5 different cords plugged into lots of different outlets and computers. I logged into my itunes account and everything i've done hasn't fixed it. Any advice?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer                            
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

- Try another cable.
- Try another charging source
- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
