Double-tap the screen with THREE fingers. Then navigate to Settings/General/Accessibility and turn off Zoom.

Ok, solved it by resetting the PRAM (ALT+CMD+P+R while booting, you can find detailed steps anywhere on the interwebs)
I believe the resolution changed, so it wasn't a "zoom" issue afterall.
When you are in your startup/logon screen (the screen where you type your password) try pressing ALT+CMD+F5 (you might have to press Fn too to get to F5 instead of the keyboard-light button). You'll be presented with all sorts of accessibility options, one of the first ones is the zoom function. But it doesn't seem active, because the zoom-slider is already on its lowest value.
Anyway, clearing the PRAM should fix your issue.

My iPad mini screen keeps turning upside down and I cannot fix it, please help!

When my iPad mini is in the upright position, the screen turns upside down and I have not touched the rotation switch, it just does this on its own and I cannot get it to go back into the right position. Also, it will not let me view it in the longside "landscape" mode. Can someone please help me fix this and tell me what is going on, why is it doing this? I have only had it for a few months and it is very upsetting to see it doing strange things like this without my prompting. Please help! Thank you so much!

Screen malfunction when zoomed in and VGA is connected

When streaming an internet broadcast using the Silverlight plugin, I zoomed in on my screen (using Cmd, Option, and =, to zoom the screen) so the broadcast would fill the entire screen. All was fine, until I connected my VGA adapter to the projector, so as to play it on a screen, and suddenly the screen changed to a random pattern of cyan, black, and other colored pixels. Even when I unplugged the VGA, the pattern remained, my computer was unresponsive, and the only way I could get it to do anything was to shut it down and restart.
I've never had any problems with the VGA, so I'm assuming the problem is with the screen zoom. The projector works fine.
Any ideas about what's going on here?

I appreciate the help A Brody, but this does not solve what I am asking. I like being able to focus on something like a YouTube video without having to worry about losing my "spot" if I want to move the cursor to pause the movie. I want to do this on demand and not have to worry about clicking a bunch of different stuff or opening a screenshot in Preview.
If my iMac can do it, then how can my MacBook do it?

My email screen got really large font and I cannot figure out how to get it back to normal. Has to be a Firefox thing because when I open it in Explorer it is normal size.

Wallpaper zooming in and out when going to home screen

Whenever I go to my home screen, my wallpapers zooms in and out by itself and it's rather annoying. I want to know if there's a way to stop it form doing it. Is it like an effect or something? How can I turn that off?

I know on Zedge Mortb when i'm previewing Wallpapers they Will pull in & out if i press on the Screen but once i set them as a Permanent picture they no longer do that. Interesting in what the OP has and i have ever tried a Launcher but they do have a Bunch a Settings that you can Change.. b

Iphone screen zooms in and stays

Sometimes my iphone 4 shows the screen in extreme zoom mode and I can't shut it off because the slide is far left off the screen. Why is this happening and now can I avoid it?

Thanks, I turned the zoom off and hope I don't experience it again. Maybe I had handled the phone with 3 fingers inadvertently and that made it zoom. Now I won't have to worry about it.

I had the same problem. Someone here told me to make sure my earbuds were in securely. Push until they click in place. It solved the problem. The music still plays even though the screen goes to sleep. Hope this helps.

When i open Mozilla it turns green and locks up everything is green in the window and i cannot use any feature in Mozilla.

When i open Mozilla for a split second i will see the normal screen then it turns green and i cannot access any features in the web browser. I cannot access anything else of the crash ID or troubleshooting info.

Super zoomed-up screen display

Hi everybody,
While listening to a web radio transmission, I fell asleep and must have pressed some wrong buttons on the keyboard. The screen is now super zoomed up. For instance, one single icon in the dock covers the entire screen!
When force quitting and restarting the computer, it opens up as normal and I see the standard screen for a second, but then it zooms up again right away to this super size.
What to do now?
