I'd like to tell you about a strange problem found in Nokia 6101
It's about the dealing with network .
The GSM network is got very well in quarter that I live in Erbil city ( at Ankawa town ).
But when I go to another quarters in the same city , I find no signal of the same GSM network !
The coverage network of provider in contain all Iraq .
Also I tried with another city that deals with the same network provider and not network was in the mobile too !
When I return to my house in the quarter that I live in , I find the signal is very good !
I asked the GSM network provider about this problem and they told me that the error is in the mobile !
I tried another nokia model and I found no problem .
So what can I do to solve the problem of 6101 ?
I tried to update it with the net but I couldn't !
Finally I tried with a sim-card of my friend who deal with the same provider .
I fount that it failed to get the network also !
When the owner put his sim-card in his own mobile , he got the signal again very well !
Even that , another provider signal can be found in everywhere I be in , but I want the provider that I deal with because I use my 6120 for 3g sim-card.
Please help me to solve this strange problem .

I know that the model is old . But The older one works well with network .
I'm here to explain this strange problem .
The GSM provider says that the problem is in the mobile .
The Seller says that the problem is from the network provider .
It no network at all in everywhere , I can say that the error is in the mobile.
If other models can't get the network , I can say that the error in the network .
But why no problem in the town I live in , and the error in the cities that I go to ?
I'm not thinking to change the mobile.
I'm still looking for the solution.

Please verify that the programs (Ubuntu, Mint, Boot-Repair, etc.) you are attempting to use, support the Atheros AR8161L gigabit ethernet controller natively. Not all operating systems and software programs support every network device and/or configuration otut of the box. Many times, specific drivers must be loaded or injected into the OS for a device to function properly.

I've had a network extender for 2 years and since August I can't get a GPS signal

I have had a network extender for over 2 years and have had no problems with it. Since August, I have had nothing but trouble. The GPS signal went out and I went through all of the Verizon troubleshooting tips and nothing worked. They sent me a new one and it has worked for about 2 weeks however now I have the same exact problem, the GPS is red and I haven't had a GPS signal for 2 weeks now. What is going on? How is it possible that after over 2 years of having no issues, we can't get a GPS signal?

I spoke with another Verizon tech rep and he was going to open a network trouble ticket however first he needed to gather some information. He directed me to this site http://8x8.com/Resources/Tools/VoIPTest.aspx
to get info on the speak of my computer and IP connection however when I began the test, there was an error and it couldn't measure my VOIP connection. The Verizon rep said that there isn't software in the network extender and that it's based off the VOIP. So he suggested I call my internet provider and tell them that I'm trying to use a VOIP and for some reason it's not working. He suggested I tell them I'm trying to use Vonage and not Verizon though. Anyway, I'm going to call Comcast tomorrow and provide them the information that I got off the http://8x8.com/Resources/Tools/VoIPTest.aspx site. Not sure if that will help you but I will keep you posted as to what Comcast tells me.

I've tried going through my new MacBook Pro settings and it the diagnostics check, it says network changes detected, I tell it that it "yes" does connect to a cable modem, it tells me to restart it, after I do it asks if there are any other devices hooked up ( firewall) and when I say no it tells me that it can't fix the problem.
Now I know that I probably have a new IP address because of the cable company switching the boxes but it was working fine with the other box, now there isn't a signal to be had on it!
Please anybody out there that can help!!!??

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

I'm using garagband 11 and I can't get a good signal through my Machie Blackbird interface for my guitar or vocal.

I'm using garageband 11 and I can't get a strong signal form my interface. All the prefences are set correctly. The only way I can get a signal is by cranking the gain on the compressor, but the signal is still low and waveform in barely readable. Any thoughts?

Not directly no. However if they have an enabled app or an enabled website and you have an iPod/iPhone/iPad, you could use Airplay to stream them to the Apple TV.
Note though, not many that provide content on a computer via the web want you to be able to watch it in comfort on a TV, so there isn't all that many providers that enable Airplay.

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

For Airprint to work your iPhone and printer must be on the same local network. Your printer must support Airprint (see here for list: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356).

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If you have failed to bakup, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.

Yes, you can!(:
STEP 1: Open iTunes
STEP 2: Navigate to the "iTunes Store". It can be found under the "STORE" tab.
STEP 3: On the right side of the store there should be a "Quick Links" Section. Click on the "Purchased" link.
STEP 4: Navigate to the "Music" tab and click on "All Songs". Then at the bottom of the screen there will be a button that says "Download All". Click the button and your songs will be begin downloading!
NOTE: This will only work with songs that you bought from the iTunes store, if you imported them from a CD, you will have to do it again.
NOTE: You can also do this with Apps, Movies, TV Shows, and Books.
NOTE: You may have to sign in with your Apple ID to verify the download.
