My 7610 wont save the ringtone i set!

I try setting a ringtone then everytime i turn phone on and off it goes back to the nokia default - ive taken it to the o2 shop and everything but to no avail -can someone please help?

A chosen ring tone if set for a contact will not play for a text from that contact. The tone you have chosen for texts will play. Text tones and ringtones are separate. As far as I know you cant set custom text tones for a particular contact. The text tone you set is played for all incoming texts

Why can't FC save the folder locations set for render files?

I wrongly assumed that when you go to system settings to select the scratch disks (root folder where all the audio and video render folders and files go, capture files, etc.) that Final Cut would save the folder locations within the FC project you are working in. Makes total sense, but for reasons I don't understand, FC does NOT save these folder locations and the result is that I have render files scattered all over the place on my hard drive and it is quite a mess! Fortunately, the project file remembers where it put the render files, so as long as you don't remove or rename any project folders, everything shows up rendered on the time line as it should. The problem is, if I'm working on several projects at once, I have to reset the scratch disks every time I reopen a project, otherwise the program will save it to the last scratch location selected and put all of the render files in another project's folder. I often forget to reset the scratch disks when I'm busy and now I have render files mixed up in various project folders.
Why can't you just set the scratch disks one time when you first set up the project and have the project always remember that location, instead of always having to reset them every time you reopen a project. I love Final Cut, but this is a product defect that should be addressed and corrected. If the project file can remember where it is putting all the render files, it should also be capable of remembering the scratch disk locations you originally selected when you first set up the project or better yet, save it to the project's root folder by default. Am I missing something here?

As MtD describes, FCP sets file locations for ALL projects at the system level. It may help to organize things this way so your files don't end up scattered across multiple locations.
Save the project files to your User folder on the boot drive.
For all the other files FCP creates, set them on a non-boot drive similar to this:

Of course, you can choose to keep renders or the Autosave Vault folder on other drives ... just keep them off your boot drive. It may not be the way you're use to working, but it's worked well for me the past 14 years. When you finish with a project and ready to delete the associate files, just go to your media drive and delete folders bearing the project's name.

I'm unable to save my Local News settings (BBCPostcoder cookie) in the BBC Home Page although my Firefox Privacy settings are set for accepting cookies from sites(there are no exceptions), accept 3rd party cookies and until they expire. The cookie is shown as being stored under the bbc.co.uk menu in the stored cookies folder.

Also, contacted the BBC with this problem and they advised it was an issue with their software that was corrected with a software patch released on 28 Jun 2010.

IPhoto wont save the "denoise" editing option...

I have already contacted tech support and spent an hour trying to figure this out with no luck.
Problem: I make all the edits to my photo to include "denoise" then hit "done", which SHOULD then save my changes to the photo. I will exit that photo and see all of my thumbnails. If I click back on a photo I have edited it appears I have not "denoised", it is grainy again, I click "edit" and THEN it reapplies "denoise" to my photo. However it is only in iPhoto editing mode that I can see "denoise" applied to my photo.
Anyone have this issue?
Tech Support told me the photo's coming from my Nikon D80 did something to the program. But I just don't understand how that is the only option that is effected and WHY its my favorite feature.

give deleting your iPhoto preference file a try - quit iPhoto and delete the iPhoto preference file - "your username" ==> library ==> preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist
When you launch iPhoto reset any user preferences you have changed and re-point iPhoto to the iPhoto library if you have moved it from its default location

I have several ringtones from songs on my old iphone 4. Can they be transferred to my iphone 6 plus?

I would recommend updating iTunes to v11 if you havent done so.
On previous versions (if I recall correctly), it was simply File>Transfer Purchases from "example's iPhone" or Right clicking on the device from the side bar.

Found a solution. I just needed to load it into itunes before i put it on my ipod. It seems to fix both of my issues

Touch Apps > My music
While the music is playing, touch the phone Menu Key > More > Use as ringtone
The ringtone is set as your default incoming call ringtone and copied to your Phone ringtone list.

Get error message when exiting premier Pro wont save file

I am getting an error message when I exit adobe premier pro it wont save the file and the program locks up. I even uninstalled an reloaded the program CS5.5 vrs. still get the same error can anyone help?

In Private Browsing mode some menu items are disabled (grayed) and some features like visited links and others are disabled and not working.
You are in Private Browsing mode if you see "Tools > Stop Private Browsing".

Thanks. I messed up with my husbands iphone because I was told the wrong thing. Now everytime I sync his phone it makes it look just like the other phone I had. Did the ios 8.3 update now i can tview photos from the camera app and the photos wont save to my photos app.

I just did the new ios 8.3 update for my iPhone. I've been trying to take pictures from the camera app and it wont allow me to click on the picture to view it and none of the new photos are saving to my photos app or if you send a picture through text it doesn't save the original to the photo app either. is this a problem with the new version of ios or have a maybe selected something to not allow me to add more photos? 1. Plug iPhone with iOS 8.3 via Original Cable ( USB + 3.5mm on 30 pin) + original adapter from 30 pin to lighting.
2. Verify that music plays and iPod menu successfully loaded.
3. Unplug cable from iPhone.
4. Plug it again.
expected result:
- Ipod menu Loaded. The song plays from place where it was stopped by unplugged.
actual result:
- initialization error
My Device: Iphone 5s
IOS: 8.3
Car: Hyundai Sonata 2011 (YF ; 6 generation)
On all previous IOS it was worked fine.
Fix for this issue:
- Reboot phone and plug it again. But after unplug and plug it again the issue still reproducible. Only reboot can helps.
Please try to fix it.
