My 9 year old daughter needs her own apple id for her new iphone

Apple says she is too young for her own apple id, but how else am I supposed to keep her imessages separated from mine?

On both the devices go to Settings > Messages > Recieved At > Check only the number for that device
Apple requires age 13 to have an Apple ID. Nothing is stopping you from creating a second Apple ID for yourself
