My account is limited(Under age) and i have money
So i made an account and sent in proof and stuff, but they made my account limited so i cant do any thing pretty much and i recently ot a refund which is now stuck in paypal because it didnt go back on my credit card so my questions are: i turn 18 on august 28, is that when the liimit will be removed? also, is there anyway to send that money back to my credit card or use the money?
Fixed1 Auto-detect apparently wasn't my problem. In this case I had another software (XPLAY) which was causing interference with the connection so iTunes and XPLAY were competing for control and nobody won ... until I took off XPLAY. Running well now. Thanks for the responses though and glad we're all moving along!

My sister and I have been having problems with our ipods. We both have the touch and because our dad bought both our ipods and our ipods were under the same name it was starting to sync eachothers music to each ipod instead of seperate. we also wanted to use 2 different credit cards. so we thought the best solution would be to just create her, her own account. Everything went smoothly and i realized there was an option to not add a credit card, being that shes under aged and only buys with gift cards anyway. Now im struggling because i entered her gift cards into her acount and every time she goes to buy a song it says confirm or varify billing information. I have tried re entering her account info, i tried adding a credit card, ive tried several things and it is not allowing me to varify the account and will tell me that my requist is unavailable at this time....
does anyone know how to fix this problem soo she can buy songs

You don't need separate iCloud accounts if you want to simply sync unique content to each device using iTunes. I have three iDevices using one ID and one iTunes library and each device has it's own content on it. You need to set up the sync configuration for each device. This is what I recommend.
First turn off auto sync in iTunes. Launch iTunes on the Mac and go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices>Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from automatically syncing. Click OK and then quit iTunes.
Connect one of your devices to the Mac and launch iTunes.
Click on the device name on the left side under the devices heading.
Click on a tab in iTunes - Apps for instance.
Click on the Apps that you want to sync to that device.
Make sure that the Sync Apps heading is checked.
Follow the same procedure for all of the other tabs in iTunes ..... Music, Photos, Movies and so on.
After you have finished making all of your selections, click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.
When you are done, eject the first device and do the same thing with the other device. iTunes will now remember the sync configuration on each device.
You can change that configuration any time that you like by following the steps outlined above.
If you want to continue to auto sync, turn it back on in the iTunes preferences as described above. -
I use to have a iTunes account with my old computer, and I have lost all my iTunes music, some purchased, some downloaded from another source. Now I'm using a brand new computer (Windows) and I have opened a NEW iTunes account, but I now I need to figure out if it is possible to recoup my music content that I originally had. I had, I believe around close to 300 songs on my account ;(......Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Now remove all your info and update the old AppleiD/iTunes account and use only that account.
You cannot transfer items between iTunes accounts.
You can redownload all the content. -
my I phone 4s stop making sounds, I tried reset and still no sounds only vibrate. Did reset - all settings under general and still have the problem, I also re- sync again to see if this help. still no sounds.

I have read several posts with people who had similar problems of not having a ringtones sidebar on itunes. They were instructed to go to preferences under general and select the ringtonescheckbox. I have NO checkbox. I have also already purchased a few ringtones from my iphone. I want to convert songs in my library and put them into my ringtones folder, but I cant do that without the folder. Please HELP!!!

Is this in the US Mac App Store? The US store's prices do not include sales taxes which are added in the final steps of the sale. If your credit amount does not cover the price of the app plus the tax then the iTunes store will need another payment method for the remaining amount to complete the sale.

On my iTunes every time I go to click on download even if it's free it asks me to sign in. Which is normal then it asks for me to verify payment. So when I click that I go in and have to retype the 3 numbers on the back of my Visa card. Every time I click continue it tells me that I need to use a different card. Even though I've been using the same card and it has money on it. I've never had a problem until now. What can I do to fix it??
If you have an existing ID, & you don't want to use a credit card, you'll have to redeem an iTunes gift card. If you don't want to do that, you'll have to create a new ID by following the directions here, EXACTLY:
