My account picture goes out with each E-mail

I just started using Mail 3.3. Each E-mail that I send includes my account picture (a baseball). Is there any way to delete this feature?

Since approx 7am GMT I've been getting "Error in sieve filter" message with each incoming mail, worse though, since about 12 noon I cannot recieve or send mail to or from my iCloud account apart from I've been getting emails from Apple (ie I've just received a welcome one from Apple Support Communities...)!! I've had this account for years, never had a problem - it can't be the OSX Mail server because the problem is the same when I log directly into iCloud. I've tried sending emails from my Hotmail account to my iCloud account (a .mac) and just get undeliverable messages back. I'm really in the s**t now at work. : ( I just set up a Smart TV yesterday with a wireless dongle - that's the only thing I've done out of the ordinary. I've spoken to Sky who are my ISP and they say all's fine with them (although the router kept kicking my off the internet this morning which was strange...). Router seems fine now though. I'm really hoping someone here can help!!

Picture Going Out after buying Pioneer Receiver

I just installed a pioneer VSK 921K receiver and using HDMI in/out, I am having a problem where the picture goes out, but not the sound after about 2 hours, sometimes an hour of watching. When I switch from DVD back to DVR it comes back and I don't have any issues.
I'm inclined to think it's my TV going down the tubes, but it seems very coincidental to me that it started the same day I installed my new receiver.
Is this something I should be worried about with my TV or receiver (TV is a plasma 50 inch pioneer).

It sounds like the TV is losing "handshake" with the receiver. Make sure the cables are firmly seated. Your TV may be an older version of HDMI than is on the receiver, but that should not be any real problem.

To make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the camera. If it still does not work, this is a hardware issue and the phone has to be serviced by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

Everytime I'm watching a video and I get a text or any type of notification the video picture goes out?

when i'm in the middle of watching a video and get an alert. As soon as I hit respond or ignore and resume the video the picture goes out but the sound remains? It does this everytime!

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running?
Your videos are likely 1920 x 1080p30 H.264.mov. Please confirm.
First question, do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer. If not, please do that

When I use the flash on my iPhone 4s camera the picture comes out with grey haze and not clear

Is your iPhone white or black? The white ones are reported to have some issues like this with the flash because the colour white reflects light while black absorbs it - so I think the issue arises when you turn on the flash because it creates a ton of light that gets reflected back at the lens, which creates glare, which is probably what that haze is.
On a side note, I have a white iPhone 4S, and I had this problem with the camera flash but only when I had a case on the phone. When I took the case off, it was fine.

Did you select all of the music to sync by clicking on the playlists or albums or whatever you use in iTunes - in order for them to sync? Or did you click on Entire Music Library if you want all of your music on the iPad?

In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account. The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

Picture going black with LiveMotion

Hi, I have 6 web cameras (4 Creative Live Motion and 2 Phillips). I prefer the LiveMotion due to Pan/tilt but also have 2 Phillips due to high light sensivity of only 1 lux.
My problem is that it seems to occur some kind of problem with the LiveMotion webcam driver. I am running 5 webcams 24/7 in my vacation home and it is quite annoying when the picture goes black on the LiveMotion cameras. It is several weeks (sometimes moths) between each time I visit my vacation home so I do not have the opportunity to disconnect and connect the camera (USB-plug) to reinstall the drivers.
This have happened once on three of the LiveMotion connected PCs and twice (now for the second time) on one of the PC/webcams. I have noticed that on old/slow computers the image may go black but is possible to retrieve again by reducing the image resolution/size, frame rate etc. However all these LiveMotion cameras is connected to Pentium 4 PC's with Windows XP pro SP2 and a minimum of 1 GB RAM. 2 of the PC's do however not have USB2, only USB1/1.1
Visiting my vacation home I was able to disconnect the webcams and reinstall the driver and got back a correct image (not black) and the mentioned 3 LiveMotion Webcams and PCs. Now (6 moth later) for the second time the image from one of the webcams has gone BLACK ...and I am not able to fix it by reducing image size, frame rate etc nor can I reinstall the webcam driver since I can not disconnect and reconnect the webcam cable.
Any suggestions on what to do/try to fix this problem remotely (over winXP RDP)?

That shouldn't happen. Reboot and hold down the option key. Choose the Lion Restore Disk to boot from. Select Disk Utilities from the menu and run Repair Disk.

My mail goes out with wrong (my wife's) email address

My email (I use Apple Mail via gmail.com) goes out and may indicate to the recipient that it is from my wife’s account at gmail.com. She once used my Macbook for email, but now uses her own Macbook. She is not listed as a User on my Macbook Pro. I have eliminated her account from Internet Accounts in System Preferences. I have eliminated her account from Mail Preferences, via the Accounts tab. I have eliminated her links to gmail in Keychain access. I still may have a recipient of my email receive mistakenly her email address as the sender. I do not see any references to her email in My User Library Preferences folder. In Mail Preferences, Composing Tab, my email address is listed as the one to send emails from. Any help is much appreciated.

Go into Mail's Accounts preference pane and delete the Gmail account that's there. Next add your Gmail account back with your ID and password for the account.

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, when you print a photo in iPhoto it has a tint. I would recommend that you read this article, this article explains how to adjust the tint in a photo.

I am working in Reports 6i. For a numeric calculated column, I give format mask NNNN,NNN,NNN,NN0.00CR. Due to CR, right alignment of the column goes out. That is rows for which CR is NOT printer are also aligned at right. A blank space should be left at the end of every row when no CR is printer. In this way numeric data is right aligned and readability is not disturbed.

I tried this on 6.0.8.14.2 version of Reports 6i and it aligned properly (i.e., spaces where present for those values without CR). I originally had the Arial font which as you know is not a fixed font and in this case, the spacing was not exact. I switched to Courier and the output was much more readable for the numeric values, especially with the spacing.

Thanks Jim Safcik. I changed the font of that column to Courier and it resolved the problem. But I am using Times New Roman font which creates above alignment problem.
It would be nice if we have an other solution which is NOT font dependent.
However I appreciate your guidance and knowledge.

Backlight blinks out with each push of select button

Aye - what is up with my little buddy?
Touch clickwheel, backlight comes on.
Click to something like Artists. Push center button !BLINK! light goes out and back on.
Click an artist's name !BLINK! light goes out and back on.
Click an album or song !BLINK! light goes out and back on.
This stinks.
I did have a tough time getting Vista to play nice with iTunes, but it works ok now. I did do a reset of the iPod during that episode, if that's a hint.
Other annoying behavior - probably Vista related - Explorer window pops up with every sync. Disk use is not enabled. With disk use enabled, DND is forever.

To reset the bookmarks to the handful of default bookmarks that come with a new installation, start Firefox in [[safe mode|Firefox safe mode]], then in the first dialog box that appears select the option "Delete all bookmarks except for backups" then click "Make Changes and Restart". All of your Firefox bookmarks will be deleted, but your browsing history will still be intact.
