Did you also download Acrobat 9 from the Licensing Website? If you have a volume license for Acrobat 9 Professional, then the installation files are only available at https://licensing.adobe.com/. If you downloaded the installation files for the retail version of Acrobat 9 Professional, that may be why the installer won't accept your serial number.

If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Acrobat X Pro - Serial will not work

Oh I'd forgotten how god-awful Adobe's customer support was.
Stupid me.

I was unable to update Adobe Acrobat Pro 10 to 10.1.3. Patch error 1328.
So following the instructions.
Uninstalled Acrobat Pro X.
Downloaded new full version.
Installed Full Version
Will not accept Serial Number from original registration on May 12 2012.
Had to install as 30 day trial.
Suggestions please.

I only have one serial number.
It says serial number is wrong when I try to activate Acrobat X Pro..
The instructions to rectify Error Code 1328 in Acrobat X said remove & reinstall.
If they had said remove CS6 I would not bother.
It would be madness to uninstall all of CS6 Web & Design just to update one product that is corrupt.
Insane.
My Photoshop alone has many add ins; it would take two days to reinstall.
What is the solution please ?

How Can I Create a Print Button on a PDF Using Acrobat Pro That Will Also Work on iOS?

I created a Print Button on a PDF document using Adobe Acrobat Pro on my Mac. The Print button works perfectly on different browsers on my Mac and on Windows (running under Parallels Desktop) as well.
When I open the document on my iPad the Print button doesn't even appear. I am guessing that this is a Flash issue but it may be more related to the fact the the action for the button is to access the Print menu item, which doesn't exist under iOS.
Is there any way to create a Print button using Acrobat Pro that will work on a Mac and Windows but also on iOS?

In order to initiate printing by clicking a button, the button has to have either an "execute menu item" type action or use the "print" JavaScript method. As you guessed, the former won't work since there are no menu items to execute, and the latter can only work if the particular PDF viewer you're using supports it. I'm not aware of any that do on iOS.
The button doesn't appear because you're probably opening it in the default PDF viewer, which doesn't support forms at all. If you were to open the form in Adobe Reader, you'd see the button but it wouldn't work.

How to make Adobe Acrobat Pro's (CS6) toolsets work more like previous versions. It is very inconvenient now to put it mildly, was much better in CS3.

In CS6, every time I need to preflight, edit, export images from Acrobat Pro I have to try and build a new toolset. The little icons that appear at the top are generally meaningless, as I don't use this every day. Is there a way to make it behave more like previous versions - say CS3?

Why do you have to build a new toolset? Why not, for instance, just click the Preflight button?

Hi, Adobe Acrobat Pro is not opening any more and giving the error "Licence is not working any more". I have a CS4 on Mac OS X 10.5.8. I tried all the suggestions in the Help Forum. What remains is to install CS4 again. Is there any risk doing that? Or is there any other option. Best, Felix

Adobe Acrobat Pro serial number will not install or register

I just purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and tried to install it on my computer. I entered the serial number and registered it. However, every time i open the program, it warns me that my 30 day trial will expire in 0 days. I click on "license this software" and enter the serial number again, and register it again. It works for one instance of use, then the insanity begins all over, and the trial expiration message pops up next time i open the program.
I have tried uninstalling the software, then running the adobe cleaning tool, restarting the computer, then installing the software again. This did not solve the problem.
It is nearly impossible to talk to a human being at Adobe customer support.
Can anyone help me?

Rotate button in Tools in Acrobat pro 10 is not working?

Hi All,
I am a user of Acrobat pro 10 and I have been using the rotate button in tools to rotate objects in any direction (Clockwise, anticlowise and 180 clockwise).
Just recently, I notice that I can't rotate objects to any direction.
When I click the rotate tool, it wo'nt rotate at all.
How can I get this working as I work with lots of documentation that invloves inserting one pdf onto another.
Any help to restore this tool is greatly appreciated.

Can't enter 24-digit Acrobat Pro serial number

I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 for Mac which has a 24-bit serail number. I had installed and registered it before. I have changed my system and have to reinstall, but the install process only lets me enter 3 digits per field. How can I get around this?

I can't read any pdf files even though I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro specifically to get a serial number which I never received, in order to read pdf files. EVERY time I click on a pdf a notice pops-up telling me to enter my serial number. How do I get my serial number?

Did you buy a subscription? If so, there is no serial number. Just make sure you are signed in to Acrobat with the same Adobe ID as you used to buy the subscription.
