My actionscript tab wont open

Whenever i open up a document on flash macromedia 8 and click
on the tab to open the actionscript(or by pressing F9), it comes up
with the message 'flash.exe has generated errors and will be closed
by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log has
been created' and then the flash macromedia 8 document shuts down.
How can i resolve this problem so i can carry on working with
actionscript?

Then I would reinstall. Never heard of this problem
before....

  • My bookmarks/tabs wont open properly

A few days ago my bookmarks were working just fine (i have several) I opened them by clicking the "open all tabs" option and they opened correctly. But I logged on my computer today and did the same process but they wont open, the tabs are all there but the sites can't be seen. I have never had this problem before. So what wrong?

Basically I go to the bookmarks option at the top of my screen, point at my folder that has all my tabs/bookmarks and right click it, then i choose the option "open all tabs" in that folder. All the tabs appear but it gets stuck with all my tabs loading (all pages are blank). i thought that my computer was just being slow so i waited, but a whole half hour pasted and the site are still not seen(still loading). i closed that window and tried to see if it would work with another window but the same thing happens.i tried restarting my computer and start the process again but the same thing happens. however when i restart my computer and open a window it show my homepage and i can open new tabs with the plus sign option and open the tabs in my bookmarks folders separately. the problem is it wont open them all at the same time and when i try to start a new window the same thing happen with any site i try to open separately after that its like my browser has a mind of its own. (I've check my internet connection and its fine. and i don't have any viruses at the moment)

  • After closing firefox 7.0.1,win7 64bit,and reopenning, tabs on toolbar are there but wont open (something new).

Something new today. I am getting recently viewed tabs on the task bar (each of these may have a few tabs) which appear on the taskbar but wont open. In order to get something to open I have to reclick on the Firefox icon on the desktop. Then that session opens okay with multiple windows and tabs...but those other tabs remain unopennable .When hovering over them on the task bar they show blank boxes, whereas the others look ok.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).

  • FireFox doesn't fully close so whenever I reopen it refuses to open secure sites I had up when I closed it; it keeps thinking that the tab is already open and wont open another one. How do you fix this?

Whenever I close Firefox and then reopen it later on it opens the last webpage I had open before closing the browser instead of my homepage. It seems that exiting Firefox doesn't fully shut it down and just puts it into hibernation mode. This has become a problem because when I have a secure webpage open when I close the web browser, without logging out of the page, and then try to go to that page again it thinks that it's already open and wont open another page for me. This means that I can't even navigate to the page to log out. I think it might be just a setting with Firefox 4 but not sure which one, any suggestions?

For possible causes and solutions see [[Firefox is already running but is not responding]].

  • Safari wont open new tab

I have Safari set to open links "in a new tab in the current window" but for some reason whenever I click a link it opens a new window....what am I doing wrong?
Also, cant I set up a new tab to open with a web page instead of a blank page?

If you want a tab to open directly from a link, you'll need to use 3rd party add-on SAFT. When installed, SAFT is accessible via Safari Preferences. Within SAFT there is a panel for tabs, where you'll find the command "always open browser window in tab". Works like a charm.
By contrast, Safari's new page command applies to opening links from other Apple applications such as Mail or iChat.
Regarding your second question, whenever you open a new tab using the New Tab command, an untitled or blank page appears. This is normal. At the moment there is no way within Safari to open a pre-designated web site. Consider sending Feedback to Apple about incorporating such a feature in a future version of Safari.

  • Itunes wont open - compatibility error...

    hi,
today I had a problem with moving songs from itunes to ipod. have had this issue in the past which was fixed by using ipod updater.
this didnt seem to work so for first time in ages ran the itunes updater. I can no longer open itunes and get the following error.
    Quicktime unavailable
itunes requires Windows 2000 or later
Please make sure compatibility mode is disbaled in the compatibility tab of the properties of itunes.exe
well....I tried to do this (I am not massively IT literate!), have tried selecting or deselecting compatibility on this tab....and still wont open....any ideas?
    im on windows XP professional.
    cheers in advance
    mike

    hiya!
if I find the mp3 file on my hardrive and move it to ipod manually it still doesnt appear when I disconnect.
that's normal. for the ipod to recognise a song it needs to be transferred to the ipod via itunes rather than dragged and dropped with Windows Explorer. see the note at the end of this article:
iPod: Operating System or iTunes Reports the Disk is Full, But It Does Not Look Full
... try resetting the warnings on your ipod and trying another manual sync:
    Resetting iPod warnings
do you get an error message show up after resetting warnings?

    hi Be!
reboot your computer. open your task manager to the processes tab. now try to launch itunes again.
b if you see an itunes.exe appear there, and persist in your task manager, try

  • Itunes wont open, no flashing or user agreement

ive seen a lot of posts when itunes wone open, but they say that there is flashing itunes and quicktimes or a user agreement comes on to the screen.
but my itunes just doesnt open. i just installed itunes 6.0 and now my itunes wont open and there is no flashing quicktime and itunes icons or a user agreement.
does anyone know how to solve this?

    hiya!

itunes 6.0 and now my itunes wont open and there is
no flashing quicktime and itunes icons or a user
    agreement.
all the following suggestions assume that you're
    getting no error messages whatsoever.
let's just check up on something. reboot the PC. open
Task Manager to the Processes tab. now try to launch
    itunes again.
does an itunes.exe process appear in Task Manager? if
so, does it persist in there?
if it appears and persists, let's check up on the
    following possibilities first.
if you have Norton Internet Security 2005,
    first see:
iTunes 6 won't open on a Windows computer if
    firewall software is not up-to-date
... but if no joy with that, try the trusty Lorraine
    M technique:
    Lorraine M: NIS/itunes problem
    rectified
if you don't have NIS 2005, or problems
persist, let's check up on this possibility:
iTunes for Windows doesn't open after
    upgrading
but if no itunes.exe appears in Task Manager, or
it appears and then disappears after a few
seconds, post back. we're going to have to check
on a different set of possibilities.
    love, b
sorry i'm jumping in, but I think you can help me...my problem is similar, but in the process tab, for me itunes.exe is not there. Would you know why?

  • Itunes7 just wont open at all

I upgraded to Itunes 7, and now it wont open. I get no error message. I have tried the things apple said to try. That does not work either. Quicktime works fine. I just cant open Itunes. I really just want to get into Itunes. I was ok with it for awhile, because I underdstand new things have problems. But now I am frusterated. So if someone, or apple, could help me solve this that would be great. Thanks

a couple of preliminary questions aimed at narrowing down the possibilities.
do you have Norton Internet Security 2005 installed on that PC?
if you reboot the PC, bring up your Task Manager, click on the Processes tab, and then try to launch itunes, does an "itunes.exe" process appear in Task Manager? if it does, does it persist in there, or does it disappear after a few seconds?

  • Safari 8.0.2 wont open just says it quit unexpectedly. tried several times

safari 8.0.2 wont open just says it quit unexpectedly. tried several times

If Safari crashes on launch and you don't have another web browser, you should be able to launch Safari by starting up in safe mode.
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
    ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those.
After removing the malware, remember to reset your home page in all the web browsers affected, if it was changed.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere  should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
    or
Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
    if it's not already checked.
