My Adobe Creative Suite CS5 download rejects my valid serial key. What must I do?

I have a legitimate serial key for Creative Suite CS5. Because I once lost my CD's Adobe sent me a download link to download the suite which worked then, but now I have a new laptop which doesn't have a CD-rom drive, so I tried to download these links again. Now I get the message that my serial key is invalid. I have had contact with customer support and they verified that my serial key is valid and then I was sent to the forum to ask how to continue.
Prachi: I see that as it is the old product, you need to visit our Adobe Forum to troubleshot the issue.

I have the same problem that the user who wrote the post "Trouble installing content files on Mac", but his post went unanswered. Here is the link: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4221280. I am trying to install the adobe creative suite CS5 downloaded from the internet, and what I have is a dmg file. When I open it, there is only a read me and a folder named "English". In the read me I go to the install instructions, and they tell me to double-click in Install.app, a file which doesn't exist. What am I doing wrong?

I downloaded it from Adobe Store. When I open the dmg file I see the read me.pdf and the English folder, nothing more. Perhaps the problem is that I have already installed the program in one computer, this is happening to me trying to install it in another one. Could that be it, that I need another license in order to make it work?

I am the licensed owner of Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5. Unfortunately, I recently had a hard drive failure and had to have my MAC hard drive re-imaged. That process wiped out all my Adobe apps (as well as others). I would like to know HOW to download CS5.5 Creative Suite. I have my serial number. Thank you for any help you can give me.

Creative Suite CS5 download link won't work after eight attempts, trying to transfer software to new laptop. Final Solution: new software cds mailed if possible?

After dowloading the CS5 Design Premium, I get an error messagin stating "A problem occurred while extracting the archive. Please try downloading the Adobe CS5 Design Premium again." I repeated this process multiple times (8) to no avail. I am trying to download the CS5 design premium on my new laptop, but don't have the software cds to do this. Thus, I can only download the software but after i download the two files required, that error message appears. (I already have my serial number). I have tried disabling my Antivirus as sometimes it detects the files as virus and removes them while downloading. I have also tried downloading after performing Selective Startup.
Can Adobe mail the software cds instead of sending download links?

Adobe creative suite cs5: unable to drag objects on illustrator or indesign. unable to open files in photoshop, brush doesnt work in photoshop.
In the past I uninstalled adobe creative suite cs5 from my laptop, used the adobe creative cloud cleanup tool, restarted and then reinstalled the programs and everything worked again for about a week. Now everything has gone back to the way it was again and this time the uninstalling and reinstalling isnt helping.
Any ideas?

I'm having exactly the same problem. Uninstalled CS4 and reinstalled the 30 day trial of the Creative Cloud and it's stil having the same glitches, not opening in photoshop and not being able to drag/move objects in Illustrator or inDesign.

MoeGhazal I reviewed your account and it looks like you have have upgraded from a CS4 volume license for Design Premium to a retail upgrade of Design Premium 5.5.
I also show that you made two purchases of CS5.5 Design Premium but the second purchase was canceled. Please make sure you are utilizing the serial number which ends in 7886.
If you are using the correct serial number then it is likely the installer will not recognize your volume license CS4 serial number as being valid for an upgrade. If you can contact our support team then you can be walked through an unlocking procedure to allow you to proceed with the installation. You can contact our support team directly at Contact Customer Care. You may want to try installing a web browser you have not previously utilized. It is likely a toolbar or some other software application is affecting your ability to access chat support successfully.

Adobe Creative Suite CS5 is acting up. In Illustrator i was unable to move objects with my mouse and tried solving the problem in different ways - it still didnt work. So i opened up photoshop. I was unable to open a file in photoshop (new or old) and when i finally did manage to open something, I am unable to do many things.
1) i cannot crop canvas
2) i cannot resize canvas
3) text dissapears after i type it
4) brush strokes dissapear after i release mouse
etc
What should i do??

Nobody can help you without system info or otehr details. From your description this could be driver issues with a tablet if you use one or similar issues with a programmable custom mouse... Most definitely not an issue within the programs. Unplug your mouse and tablet, uninstall and reinstall the drivers, try another input device...

How do you transfer your adobe creative suite cs5.5 from one laptop to another. I bought downloadable files from the Adobe website; I did not own physical cds.

I bought a downloadable file when I bought Creative Suite CS5.5 for my laptop, which has now become slow and laggy. So I bought a new laptop and have downloaded trial versions of CS5.5 on to it, as suggested by information online, only to type in my serial number and it tells me that it's unvalid. I'm a college student and spent a lot of money to have this compliation of programs, and I do not have the money to invest into CS6 quite yet, as my needs are met with the previous version.
Is there any way to transfer the creative suite from one computer to another, as I've tried many and have been unsuccessful.

Updates Fail Adobe Creative Suite CS5 / Adobe Audition 3

So I installed my Creative Suite CS5 after a hard drive fail. Now when I try to update it ; it tells me there's a problem with my serial that works just fine for installation.
Also if someone knows where i can get adobe audition 3 i have the serial just not the installation program.

Fizbop please make sure that you are installing CS5 on your new hard drive as opposed to migrating/copying the installation. You can download a fresh copy of the installation files for CS5 at Download CS5 products.
I am sorry but I am not aware of a download location for Audition 3.0.

Adobe Creative Suite 6 Download and Installation Problem

I have purchases Adobe Creative Suite 6 and went to download it. It downloaded a Package.exe and when I ran setup it ran for hours and in the end said it was complete, but I have nothing to show for it but some Zip files and some setup files which I have run and still have nothing. What am I doing wrong?
