My Adobe CS5 mastersuite is not installing in Windows 8 past Acrobat
I have a new laptop with windows 8. the first time I put in my cs5 install disk, I got the main install menu, and I chose full istall. It kept hanging, but with some help from HP, I got past that. Not it keeps going to Acrobat, reloads it, and doesn't go past that. Plus, I can't get back tot he main install menu.
HIN: Autorun never did - I had to do a run somand on setup.exe. Any ideas?

Try installing it in selective statup mode by disabling all 3rd party non-micrsoft applications.
You can also Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 -http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5 -cs5.html.
Note : Only Creative Suite 5.5 and Creative Suite 6 has been tested for Windows 8. You can find more details at http://www.adobe.com/support/OScompatibility.html.

I am unable to axcess any adobe software since OS X YOSEMITE took over my laptop. I keep getting this message, "To open Adobe CS5" you need to install the legacy Java SE 6 runtime. Does anyone know what to do? My efforts have not worked.
and - check with Adobe - would strongly suspect you need to upgrade CS. Strongly consider Creative Cloud, access to the entire TypeKit alone is amazing.

Adobe Download Assistant will not install.
I'm attempting to install the trial version of Design Premium CS5.5, but the Adobe Download Assistant will not install. It appears to be installing after I click on the installer--a window loads that says "Installing"--but then nothing happens. Nothing loads. Nothing shows up in the Applications folder. After trying this many, many times (with different browsers and after many refreshes and computer restarts), I'd sometimes get an error message that I need Adobe Air. When I try to install Adobe Air, I have the same issue: nothing happens. What can I do? I am using a brand new MacBook Pro.
I had a very very similar issue on my MacBook Pro as well with ADA. Solved it about 30 minutes ago. I found a post from late December that suggested trying the following:
System Preferences
Energy Saver
Uncheck "Automatic Graphic Switching" at the top of the page.
Install Adobe Air
Profit.
Hope it works for you too, I was ready to throw this box out the window. -
Adobe CS5 files will not save and crash on Yosemite
I have a brand new Macbook Pro 15" running the latest version of Yosemite. I have my Adobe CS5 Web Premium system installed and when using Illustrator, I can not save any files--when I go to save and choose where to save the document, the program freezes and the following crash report appears. This happens for any open document, I've tried many different ones. I have uninstalled and re-installed all Adobe programs, made sure they are all up to date versions, I've deleted all my preferences, changed time zones, and have attempted most all other fixes in the forums other than wiping the drive and starting over. Any help would be greatly appreciated--I'm a graphic designer and not being able to use Illustrator is affecting my job!

CS5 master could not install Photoshop or Indesign
After first having had problems with the overall install (as in, nothing installed), finding an obscure suggestion that seemed to work (), I relaunched the install... seemed to be working, and I was getting real excited, only to have the following listed at the end as NOT installed: Photoshop, InDesign

So I just bought Creative Cloud and have just started to try to figure out how to use After Effects today.
I have imported a movie and added some text animations, and I am trying to export the video to the Media Encoder but I keep getting the following error.
AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLInkServer: Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Please download and install it to use this feature. Go to https://creative.adobe.apps . ( 5027 :: 12 )
After I click "OK" I get the next message:

So I really don't know what do because I have just started using After Effects but I would like some input on how to fix it because I would be able to like to export a video at some point.
The Render Engine is installed but whenever I try to open it nothing happens but After Effects opens again. At one point I had four After Effects open at once and didn't realize it.
If it matters, I did install the CUDA plugin.
So if anyone could give me some information or support on this matter I would greatly appreciate it.

In installation process of Acrobat Professional 7 , its showing that Adobe Pdf printer is not Installed...need help to install the software completely
If it is Win 7 or later, the Adobe PDF printer for AA 7 will not install and AcroTray will not function. You will have to install a PS driver from Adobe or maybe an HP color PS printer driver. Then edit the driver properties and change the name to Adobe PDF and the port to FILE. You will always have to do an extra step in creating PDFs by opening the file that is created in Distiller to get the PDF.
If you are talking about Win 8, you may not be successful at all. If you got Acrobat and Distiller to install, then there is a chance. -

CS3 will not install on Windows 7, 64-bit. No error message. Just stops installing. This is a brand new machine. This is one of the first things I'm installing on it. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. The disks are fine. I have the programs installed on my two XP machines. When I run the disk, I get the window pop up that says "Initializing Installation for Adobe Creative Suite 3". Then the disk stops spinning and nothing else happens. No error message. Nothing else happens. I'm baffled. I have searched several discussion boards and cannot find anybody that has had a similar install issue like this.
Old_Timer I would recommend reviewing your install logs to determine the exact error message. Acrobat Pro 7.0 does not install on Windows 7, how can I get a version that does?
I recently downloaded and tried installing the non-activation version of Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0 on my Windows 7 PC. After researching the installation error I read some posts that Acrobat 7.0 does not install on Windows 7. What are my options?
AA 7 will install, but it will not run very cleanly. A lot of things require workarounds. However, it is strongly recommended that you upgrade to AA XI for use on Win7 or Win8. AA 7 is not fully compatible and playing with workarounds is not a great use model. Looks like the price just came down also. You will have to purchase the full version. The upgrade version requires at least AA 9.

Can you list your computer hardware specs.? Special attention needs to be paid to the I/O (Input & Output), or the HDD's (Hard Disk Drives), their size, speed, amount of free-space, etc.Are you attempting to do the installation to the default location, or to a custom location? Please upgrade UR windows 7 Service pack to Service pack 2.
from my knowledge for SQL SERVER 2012 it requires Windows 7 service pack.
And before installing SQL server 2012 Plz activate .NET framework for that,
Put UR windows 7 Format CD then,
Run Command prompt as Administrator and paste following cmd in that
DISM.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /All /Source:c:\net35 /LimitAccess
it will take 2 min. after that restart your PC and try to install SQL server 2012.
Note: Before installing SQL SERVER again format UR PC/lapy once.
After this if it gives error while installation then plz change ur setup and try again.
