My Adobe Installer has been trying to connect to server for an hour already. Solutions?

I've been trying multiple times to restart the installer but it refuses to connect to the server. Help?

    Force-quit Photos as recommended by Arsenal1607.
    Make backup of your iPhoto Library and run the iPhoto Library First Aid tools to repair the permissions on your library and rebuild the iPhoto Library.
    To launch the First Aid Tools hold down the  alt/option and the command key simultaneously while double clicking the iPhoto Library to launch the iPhoto Library First aid tools. You'd to hold down both keys firmly and long enough, until the First Aid panel will appear.
    Try both the options "Repair Permissions" and "Rebuild library".  Then try again to migrate the iPhoto Library to Photos by dragging it onto the Photos icon in the Dock.
    Make sure, you have plenty of free storage. Don't try the migration, if you are running out of storage.

    She has had it for about 6 months and this is the first time we have plugged it into the computer since then.  I can not exit out of itunes either.

    If you still have the problem after retoring the iPOd to factory defaults/new iPod then The iPod is likely defective and replacement is required.  You can make an appoinment at the Genius Bar of an APple store or take it back to BestBuy if within warranty

    Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
    I know it can be frustrating when you run into issues updating to the new iOS. In your specific situation, I would recommend placing your iPhone in what is called recovery rode and restore it from there. Please use the steps and information located in the attached link to restore using recovery mode.

  • Been trying to match one song for 6 hours now!

    I have resorted to using dropbox right now for my music until Apple fixes this problem. The primary reason I got this service is to get new music in the morning and have it on the go all day. I don't understand why they didn't do one country at a time. It is now 6 hours and I still can't sync one song!

    The matching process has been down pretty well all day for me too. Not a good situation, and something of a pain, but at least we can have a good guess at the reason, and this means that we can be fairly confident that it will start again soon, rather than being a specific issue with our libraries.
    Until then, we have no real option but to wait. There certainly doesn't seem to be much point in playing about with it.

    Also try resetting your iPad:
    Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
    No data will be lost.

  • My Apple TV 2 has been stuck at the update screen for 18 hours, what can I do?

    I read about the 4.4.4 update yesterday. I always actively install new updates as soon as they're issued. This time my Apple TV has been stuck on step 1 of the update. The progress bar has been at about 90% since yesterday. Right below it says not to unplug the device while updating. No other controls respond. What do I do? I'm afriad to brick if I unplug it. Anyone has any tips for me?
    PS. I do not have any jailbreaks on it. It's stock.

    I have the same problem updated my Apple TV 2 yesterday and it got stuck on the Apple and the apple tv is blinking at a steady.  Restored in iTunes hooked it back up to my tv, input all my settings, wifi, apple id, and netflix.  and did not do anything else, came back in and the light was blinking steady on the apple tv again and stuck on the Apple logo.  Restored in itunes again and hooked back up, just hooked up my wifi settings and manually rebooted.  Same thing got stuck on the apple logo.  What to do?

    A used iMac with an uncertain lineage like yours really ought to be restored using its original System Install disc. You did receive it with the iMac didn't you?
    It will be a challenge to do anything without it. If the seller did not include the discs with the iMac you may be able to order a replacement set from Apple. Contact them by calling the phone number on the Apple Online Store site.
    You will need the iMac's serial number and some money.

  • 14 hours ago I started updating my IPad from ios7 to ios8.  The white line has been 1/4 inch from completing for 10 hours.  It won't shut off or respond at all.

    I think my Ipad is a 2 with 32gb memory.  I have tried plugging it in and it shows no recognition .  I tried to shut it off and nothing happens.

    do a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the device to boot back up.

  • Trying to connect to serve message for over 10 minutes trying to install creative cloud

    The Adobe installer window says "trying to connect to server"...... I cannot get Creative Cloud to install

    I was on a chat session for over an hour yesterday.  She had me going through all types of settings on my computer.  It was ridiculous.  I was about to try one more time today with Internet Explorer (I use Chrome normally)  If that doesn’t work I just may call to cancel the subscription. 
    Let me know if you were successful and I’ll do likewise.

    I am using "Embedded report application server 11.5".
    When i am going to launch report with the help of above mentioned server i am getting "Request timed out because there has been no reply from the server for more than 600,000 milliseconds" error.I have already huge data for passed parameter
    Steps that i followed:
    1)I have set unlimited jobs in server.
    2)In registry entry i have set 10,00,000 miliseconds insted of 6,00,000 miliseconds.
    Can anybudy please provide me some solution for this.

    if you do not have the original owns apple id you will not be able to use the iPhone because of the activation lock you will need the original owners apple id to turn off findmyiphone if you do not have it or if you cannot get it you will not be able to use the iphone can you contact the original owner
