My adobe reader XI don't convert PDF to DOC.
I'm subscribe the service of convertion. Why should i do?
This is the Reader forum. I think you should ask in the ExportPDF one, Adobe ExportPDF (read only).

I just bought a subscription to adobe reader so I could convert by book pdf to word. I download it per your instructions, but when I open it as docx, it is all code. I've done this 3 times according to the instructions.
The iPhone and iPad draw whatever charging current they require. The iPad draws more.

I coach youth soccer and use a PDF template to save my sessions in. Today I got this message when trying to open one of my sessions.
Adobe Reader could not open 'NSCAAInteractiveSessionPlan.pdf' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).
How can I fix this? I have not done anything I don't normally do.What is your operating system? Reader version?

Adobe Reader 9 incompatible with keynote pdf export files
Dear all
I've been creating lectures using keynote for quite a while and it has been working fine. I'm relying on using pdf export for my students to print out my lecture notes.
However, since Adobe Reader 9.0, my exported pdf files do not appear right on Adobe -- they look perfect using a pdf viewer but not with Adobe Reader (they seem fine with Adobe 7 !!)
It's a pretty bad situation, IT services are of no help and don't know why this happens (and are unable to provide another pdf viewer for University computers). I might have to start using a different programme which I really don't want to do.
Does anyone have the same problem?
I can export as ppt (loosing some of the nice layout) and quicktime but that's not really a proper alternative.
Btw it was tried out on a number of different University computers (and sometimes, the disappeared text, appears when highlighting the document)

ThanksI just DL'd the newest iWork, with KN 5.0.5, and have Reader 9.4.1. I exported a few of my KN presentations to pdf, and the result was fine with both Preview and Adobe Reader (but then, I had no problem before the update, either). So whatever the problem is, it's not universal.
But I might still suggest a possible solution for those who are experiencing the problem (which I can't test conclusively, since I don't have it): Once the KN has been exported to pdf, open the pdf file with GraphicConverter, and then save it as pdf (to make sure I was saving a whole new file, and wanting to test it against the original version, I changed its name a bit). For me, again, both Preview and Reader open the new pdf file fine. But my theory is that saving with GC might possibly alter the file sufficiently to make it good for Reader, when it wasn't before. -
Adobe Reader 9 not opening some PDF's
I think I'm having issues with Reader 9. I create reports in MS Access and OutputTo PDF. One of the reports
is fairly complex and actually prints out sideways. When I email these reports to customers, some can open them, some cannot.
If a customer can't open the report from the email, first step is to Save As and save the report to their desktop and open it from there. Works for some of the clients. Some can't even open it then. It appears that the newer version of Adobe reader might be the culprit, but not totally sure yet. (i.e. users of Adobe Reader 8 don't seem to have this issue.)
Has anyone else run into this issue or have any suggestions?
Thanks.I was all excited, thinking version 9.3 might be the answer. (9.1 and 9.2 were the ones that weren't working) However, after testing on a different computer, I can say that this is not the case. I think the key difference between what I uploaded here (which you could open) and the problem customers is having is opening an email attachment. I can save the file from the email to the desktop and open it fine. However, when trying to open the attachment directly from the email, it locks up Adobe.

Adobe Reader does not open any PDF when double clicked
I am using a Mac with Yosemite. When I double click a PDF to open it, it will not open. The only way it will open is right clik PDF/Open With/Applications/Adobe Reader app. or right click PDF/Quick Look. Thanks funnnyfarm
It worked. I don't see why the Protected Mode is enabled in the first place, if it were to cause issues.

Does Adobe have a product to convert PDF to Digital Brochure - HTML5 I believe. Not EPUB because this takes specific software to open.
Possibly naïve in terms of the skills required in what your talking about, but what I’m referring to is done by literally dozens of software companies and is commonly referred to as a digital brochure. Here are a few:

Adobe Reader Splash--I have a PDF file that whenever I try to open it suggests using Adobe Reader with a link to download Adobe Reader. I can't get beyond this. I have made Preview the default for all PDF's and yet this persists. I have also deleted Adobe Reader. This particular file is a portfolio, btw.

That looks like a perfectly good PDF, but since it's trying to open in Microsoft Word, that means your file association for .pdf files is incorrect. You should change it to point to Adobe Reader instead of Word.

On March 5th, I started getting the Adobe Reader error message "Adobe Reader could not open a pdf file because it is either not supported file type or the file has been damaged.
I get this when I try to open the pdf file as an attachment in Outlook 2013 from my G-Mail account. If I save the attachment and then try to open the pdf document, I get the same error4.
I get this error message with every pdf file that now comes to me in Outlook.
If I log on to my G-Mail I am able to open the pdf document. If I also save the attachment to my computer, I do not get the error message when I open the pdf file. This would suggest the file is okay
This would lead me to believe the problem maybe with Outlook.

Adobe Reader X Problem signing online PDF
This issue has started a couple of weeks ago. Users are running Windows 7 and Adobe Reader X. When accessing a PDF online users are unable
to digitally sign with certificates. When trying to sign it asks them to save the document. If they save the document then it will allow them to sign, However
they are no longer working with an online document, but rather the one they saved on their desktop. They need to be able to sign on line because the form
needs to be submitted on line.
I have already checked the preferences for internet and it is selected to open pdf in a browser. When going to the security configuration the certificates from the CAC card are available and selected as sign with.
Anyone have any ideas? Our support for this issue is on another network and they are not having this issue so they are blowing us off.I'm having the same exact issue in windows 7 w/ adobe reader X. If I save it to the desktop
it opens fine. I've edited the registery as well as uninstalled reinstalled. and Disabled protection at startu

I have a website that holds 23 different PDF's. They all download fine and open correctly when downloading from a Mac computer. They even download and open fine from a Mobile Phone. However my client is getting an error over and over again. I have tested it out and this is what I have come up with.

I have resaved the PDF's to be compatible with Reader 6.

Can I change the tablespace when importing a schema
