My airplay icon is missing from all my devices and they are all connected to the say network...please help?
Please help, i have had my apple tv (3rd gen) for about a week, it was working fine but now i cant even stream videos from my pc, of airplay my iPad...someone please help me, i have tried, turning my computer off then on, same with apple tv.
Reboot ATV, iPhone, router.
If on wifi try Ethernet
Go to istumbler (Mac) or netstumbler (PC) to get a report of the network, look for signal strength and noise

Find which screen, folder it was moved to, and hold down the icon until the icons start shaking. Then drag it to the left or right edge of the screen, and it will allow you to move it to which ever screen you want it. When you have it there, tap the Home button to stop the icons form shaking.

You should be able to go > App Store > App store (menu) > store > view my account > sign in. Where do you vary after following this point. In between ID summary and Settings should be a section marked iTunes in the cloud and directly below but within that section, the message we are seeking.

I'm having a huge issue with itunes locating my missing files..and it's too many for me to locate 1 by 1..It says I'm missing over 3,000 songs and They are all in my music folder..What can I do to fix this issue? I've looked at all the tutorials on youtube and none of it works. I recently got a new computer and I Back-Up all my music and itunes playlist and I import it on my new computer with the new itunes and I go to play a few songs, it says I'm missing them I locate a few but it's still like 3,000 missing and again they are all on the computer and in one folder..Please Help !

I also just tried dragging my folder of music int he playlist and it duplicated all of my songs? My playlist was at 5k now it's at 10k becuz of 3 duplicates of songs. Is there a way to delete multiple duplicate files? -
I have an iPhone 4s, but wifi the option is greyed out. The wifi stopped working on it months ago. Now I wanted to erase all content and setting from my old 4s and it will not connect to the internet, because the cellular data is no longer connected, since I bought a new iPhone 5c. Too bad my 4S is 2 years old. Wifi is dead. I had to upgrade to 5S, but 5S is soooooo much faster than 4S so it's kind of good outcome. Without the 4S breaking down, a stingy person like me would have never upgraded the phone. -
I have updated my Imac to Mavericks and now my parallells won't work and I have reinstalled as per the instructions. Please help as all my data is on a hardrive that is formatted for PC.
Yes I just discovered that this morning but I have purchased another external harddrive and formatted it for both and am in the process of transferring the files across it and then I will erase the old harddrive and reformat it so I can use it.
I have learnt to format harddrives from this experience but am happy to see the back of parallells.

When i delete photos from photo stream in iphoto .. The pictures are still there on my iphone's photo stream. They are both connected to the same i cloud account.. And i cannot update to ios 5.1 on iphone.. Any help ??

Yes, you have to connect the iPod to that computer and go to the Photos pane for the iPod in iTunes and uncheck sync photos and the click on synce/apply. In the future do not check sync photos.

- Settings>Messages>Send and receive and sign out your ID and sign into hers. Make sure that only her ID email address is listed.
- Settings>FaceTime sign out of your ID and sign into hers. Make sure that under You can be reached at only her ID email address is listed
- Settings>iCloud and sign out and sign in with hers
Contnue to use the commpn ID/account for Settings>iTunes and App stores. -
AirPlay icon is missing from iMac
I just bought a brand new iMac and apple tv 3rd gen. I have managed to connect my 2 iPads and iPhones to AirPlay through my wifi no dramas. The airplay icon is also on my iMac iTunes. Problem is the icon is missing from the top menu so I can't mirror the iMac screen. I've read through the forums and found nothing to help. Why can I connect with everything else, iTunes on my iMac but not mirror it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!:)!

I assumed I had the latest version of lion since I bought the system couple of days ago. (Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4)
I was wrong, redeemed my code for a free upgrade to Mac OS X 10.8 and all works perfect

HT204291 Airplay icon has disappeared from all devices!!
Airplay icon is not appearing on the control screen when I swipe up on ANY of our devices- iPhone 5, iPhone 5S and iPad 2. All are up to date with iOS 7.1 and have been rebooted. Apple TV and devices are all connected to same network and airplay is turned on. Apple TV has been restarted as well as the router and modem. Apple TV plays netflix without any problem so I would assume that the internet is working just fine with the Apple TV. We use airplay frequently, so it is not a matter of not knowing how to use it!!
Airplay is over the local network, and that is likely where the issue lies. You say the IOS devices are up to date, have you ensured router is as well?

When I originally downloaded i tunes and bought match all 3 of my computers synced. Now when I download a song from Amazon into media or burn a cd into media they are not syncing. I go in and update match thinking that might work, it hasn't. I have all of my boxes checked in preferences on all 3 computers.
Yes i've tried all of that. I've turned it all the way on and off and erased all of my music and put it back on and nothing works. And with the breaking up CDs and putting into compilation categories i have already fixed all of that stuff. It's fine it just doesn't show up in the list of artists. I can find the album in the songs category and the albums category it's just it doesn't show tha name of the artist. All of the other albums that i downloaded before i updated my itunes to th most recent update are fine. It's just the two that i downloaded afterwards. Thanks for trying though.

Nothing is change in the MySql database, same log in, same server name, i guess it have something to do with the SharePoint Farm,
My question is will reinstalling the SharePoint do the job? Or is there an easy way to get back on my old track?

You should just confirm that your basic infrastructure is working.

I'm not sure what that means Richard, but I did change the router's IP address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.5.1- isn't that what you meant in your first post. I know that isn't reflected in my screen capture that I took last night, but I did do that this morning after I read your post.

I did this and still same results as far as I can tell. Can't get online through the router.

I tried this- at least to the part about checking the IP address under WAN. I assume you mean the WAN page in the modem setup- nothing looked any different after trying what you suggested, and I'm not really sure where I would be "getting IP in public range" or what that means.
I'm about to give up and just buy a new router to see if I can get the same lack of results with a different one. My ISP maintains that everything is set up correctly on their end and really can't do anything more for me. The Modem works and is set up correctly and they can give tech support for a router.
