My albums are all empty
I upgraded to Photos Beta fine and everything worked, all my albums were ok but then suddenly last night all of my albums were empty on my Mac, iPhone and iPad. The album folders were there but no photos inside. All of my photos were still in the All Photos section though.
I had this problem in the Beta version. I was hoping that with the app in "final" that the Albums would update. So far no such luck. I turned off use of the iCloud Photo Library on all devices, but there are still empty web albums in the web photos. Syncing for me had been a disaster, fortunately I am only doing this with my small photo library that I keep on my MacAir.

on my itunes library my albums are all sorted but when i put onto my ipod touch (4th Gen) it seems to duplicate i have checked everything and there are no spaces in the information my question is how do isort it because these things drive me mad i would be most gratefully if you could find a way to help
thatnksNever mind, got it to work. I stumbled around on Google for a while and somehow ended up reading things from the 'jailbroken' community. They had easy instructions to get out of Recovery mode. Thanks anyway though!
P.S. For anyone who experiences this, here is the fix: Hold Power and Home in unison for 6 seconds, then power on as normal. -
HELP I have lost all my motion 4 content from all the files, ive looked in all the files and they are all empty. can i get replacement content as I my dvds where stolen along. with my other laptop. any Ideas. would be a great help. For Motion 4.
Try a hard reset:- hold the home button AND the power switch - ignore the red "Slide to power off" and wait ubntil the iPhone powers down, and then restarts - at the Apple logo, release all the buttons and see if your contacts reappear.

Include movies from playlists are all empty on my iPhone. Where did they go?
Include movies from playlists are all empty on my iPhone. i use this option. i like this option, why then is it not working now.
I have the usual playlists for Music. rock, disco, classic and some techno etc.
These are all full with the sounds i chose to be within these folder on my computer and also on my iPhone,
As expected they are all within my Music app on my iPhone. they are after all music.
As unexpected the 5 or 6 Movie playlist folders were also there,
Here i could access my tutorial movies for varoius subjects. yes from the music app.
Okay
so now we have divided it all up since ios6
Music in music and loads of options, pretty pretty pretty
Podcasts in podcasts and loads of options, pretty pretty pretty
Videos... ugly ugly ugly, now all thrown in together in one big mess. no lists nothing. Store button is ther and thats it.??????
video1 for photoshop is now with video1 for all the other subjects and i no longer have the ability to group my films.
i can see my movie playlist folders in the music app but all these flders are now showing nothing inside.
i would think this to be logicaly true but then the folders should not show either..... these should, now show in my videos app,
But they do not.
whats going on?
am i missing something
or has Apple just missed something?
anyone know?P.S. Include music videos IS checked within the iTunes music synch tab.

iTunes Match is not working after the iOS 6 install. All music that was previously downloaded is gone. When the "Music App" is opened, I see a picture of a cloud, and a progress bar that goes nowhere. Then it goes away. No playlists are present. It shows artists, and albums, but all songs are empty. Nothing plays.
Is there a fix for this, or are the Apple Servers simply totally overwhelmed, and this is a matter of being annoyed and patient until it finally connects.
Thanks!Same issue for me.
Some further peculiar things I noticed:
Directly after updating to iOS 6 I had to switch on iTunes Match again (iPhone settings). Then I realized that my music was gone (as described above).
Under settings -> usage one could see that the memory space was still occupied by the huge music library (i.e. there where only 9 of 64 GB free). This changed after several hours. Now there are only 9 GB used, the rest is free. So the library is really gone.
Since then my iPhone continuously downloads some unknown data from the internet (even if all apps are closed and I deselect the use of mobile networks at the several menus in the settings). All apps are closed. The iPhone gets hot and downloads something. It downloaded nearly 400 MB in the last 48 hours via mobile networks. (I got a flatrate, so I don't really care about the data.)
Does anyone know what this means? Thanks for any help! -
Hi
Need your help. Some of my photo albums are showing as a blank after copying a photo album from my computer to ipad 6 using itunes. Can anyone help., Those albums were my treasure and i do not have any back of those. It's better to post the URL of the feed (as you have subsequently done) than the contents of the feed .
From the FeedValidator report the feed is basically OK for iTunes. There are several occasions where 'content:encoded' sections (following immediately on 'guid' tags) should be enclosed in
<description>...</description>
tags: however all this will be ignored by iTunes anyway and only applies to other readers. The 'potentially dangerous content' referred to by FeedValidator is within the 'content:encoded' tags and so isn't relevant to iTunes. They are referring to an inline css style, and I don't know whether this might cause a problem elsewhere.
You should really have a language tag, e.g.
<language>en-us</language>
(you have a dc:language tag but that's for a different system). This should be placed in the top section, before the first 'item' tag.
It's advisable to have an 'itunes:explicit' tag for each 'item' -
<itunes:explicit>yes IF CONTAINS ADULT MATERIAL, OTHERWISE no</itunes:explicit>
it's not compulsory if you have no adult material, but you must have a 'yes' if you do.
You can check your feed by subscribing in iTunes from the 'Advanced' menu - this has the same result as clicking the 'Subscribe' button on the Store page. If it works OK there you are ready to submit it. -
Tracks in my albums are all in the wrong order!
Hi, as it turns out I have a problem. Some of my albums on my iPad have all mixed up, the tracks we appear as, instead of in correct order (listed as 1. 2. 3. Well you get the idea), are in the wrong order! Everything was fine before I update to iOS 7, as anybody else had this problem?
Many thanksiTunes doesn't do multi-level sorts, or rather it doesn't give us users any control over them. Take, for example, the *Album by Year* view and you'll see that is has sub-ordering on quite a few values. In pseudo-SQL it's something like this:
SELECT * FROM Tracks ORDER BY Sort Album Artist, Year (Of 1st Track of Album), Album, Disc #(Empties Last), Track #(Empties Last)
Where there is no Sort Album Artist value it is infered from Album Artist, Sort Artist or Artist. Where there is no Sort Album it is infered from Album.
When you click to sort on the Year column any previous ordering is discarded. If the tracks are in the wrong order then all you can do is click again to change between an ascending or descening sort.
For general tips on grouping & ordering tracks in iTunes see http://samsoft.org.uk/iTunes/grouping.asp

I have the setting: Startup - When firefox starts - show windows and tabs from last time.
This almost always works, but not today. The odd thing is that all the tabs are still there, including the pinned ones on the left (square empty boxes), but all the tabs are blank ("New tab").
Except one that appeared on startup, the one that was active when i closed FF last night.
If I click on History - Show all history = No items.
Restore previous session is greyed out, as are Recently closed tabs and windows.
It looks bad, what can I do to restore the previous session?
How would this have happened, and how can I prevent it in future?
Did the last FF update (today or yesterday) have anything to do with it?
There is a sessionstore.bak-[long string of numbers] dated 8/2/14, and a sessionstore.js dated 9/5/14, and a sessioncheckpoints, json dated 9/4/14 in the Profile default folder.

print.printer_Samsung_ML-2010_Series.print_bgcolorI'm a little puzzled that your post shows Firefox 29.0.1 but you said you updated this week (Firefox 32.0 was released this week). ???
One of your settings is '''places.history.enabled''' = false, which could be a problem for saving history. I'm not sure how that could have gotten switched. Could you check here:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Privacy
Under "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history" make sure you have the settings you want.
Note: I think I have read that if Firefox is set to clear history at shutdown, then Firefox might not save any history during your session.
Can you find an Old Firefox Data folder on your desktop? If the Reset feature ran, your old data would be in that folder and we could discuss how to restore them. -
Any SVG file I try to open is empty. The file icon's thumbnail shows the image that should be in the file, but when the file is actually open in Illustrator, there's literally nothing except an empty layer.
I've tried probably a dozen files from various sources and they all do this.
I'm using Illustrator CS6.Your signature says you are running Mac OS X 10.4.11, which cannot participate in iCloud except for email.
It is not clear what you mean when you say you "moved mobile photos, videos and music to iCloud." What tool did you use to move them, and from where? -

The only thing I noticed post upgrade that was a little strange is that my media folder location had been changed back to the itunes default so i just changed it back to the correct location. But when I went to the correct location where I keep all my master copies of my music files hundreds of my folders were empty!!!
This is a complete disaster...
Has anybody had any problems with the 10.5.2 upgrade and how do I get in contact with apple to get all the music I have lost back?
Ian.After continual hangs on iTunes Match Step 3 (crashing iTunes, etc.) I was finally able to get iTunes Match to complete late last night. iTunes 10.5.1 is working normally again as well.
I added two columns to my iTunes library, "iCloud Download" and "iCloud Status". iTunes > View > View Options > check both items. This allowed me to see exactly what was matched, uploaded, waiting, etc.
After reviewing all of my songs I found that there were about 40 that displayed "Waiting". No matter how many times I force-quit iTunes and tried to get iTunes Match to complete, those last songs in the wait-state would not budge. I finally deleted all of them (they were odd, non-mainstream songs and albums that I can live without plus I still have the original CD's).
Once I deleted the the "Waiting" songs iTunes Match finished instantly.
I'm not sure why those particular songs were causing trouble, but I was glad that it was finally able to finish. I eneded up missing a lot of cover art and also resolved that. More here...

So I've tested iTunes Match on my iPad, my Apple TV2, etc. and it seems to be working okay now...but what a nightmare it was to get there!. iTunes is once again behaving normally in both regular and full-screen mode. This was not a good Apple-like experience. -
BACKGROUND: When I'm home, using my iPhone4 and MacPro/iTunes library, I've been watching video on my iPhone via the Home Sharing feature of the said devices. I have lots of videos in my iTunes library, so I've set up lots of video playlists to help organize stuff, and also to more quickly zone in on the video I want to watch from my iPhone and AppleTV. So here's the process I go through when I want to watch a video on my iPhone: go into the Music app, then hit the "More..." selection (along the bottom right of screen), then hit the "Shared" selection, then hit the "Bob's iTunes Library" selection, then hit the "Playlists" selection (along the bottom left of screen), then find/select the video playlist of choice, then find/select the video of choice, then start watching. Aside from the occasional spontaneous disconnect issue I've been having lately, it all works like a charm.
(NOTE: I tried the same procedure using the Videos app on my iPhone, but there doesn't seem to be a way to see the video playlists in this app.)
TO THE PRESENT: So when I got my shiny new iPad3 this Monday, the very first thing I did was try to replicate this process on the iPad3. Because both the Videos app and the Music app look very different on the iPad vs their iPhone counterparts, I tried this using the Videos app first, but ran into the same problem as on the iPhone - there's no way (as far as I can tell) to view/access the video playlists in this app – all I see are icons, one for each video. I then tried the Music app, and steps are identical to the iPhone version. I got as far as getting to see my playlists, and then selecting the video playlist of interest, but once there, no videos are in the playlist, only a single song(??). In fact, none of the video playlists have any video files in them (some have song tracks??).Same problem on my ipad 2...but it works well on my iphone 4s.
Can somebody help me?
Thank you -
I am new to iphone 5 s and have no idea how to change the photo albums to be separate by name and not the mess that is now.
At the bottom of the Photos screen there are 2 choices: Photos and Albums. Tap on Albums. That should display the pictures in the same folders that you synced from your computer. If it does not, you may need to look at what selections you made on the photos tab of iTunes and sync again. If using a Windows computer and iTunes, you should be able to organize the photos in multiple folders within a main folder and then set the sync to the main folder.

All my Bookmarks dissappeared. File folders are all empty!!!!
Opened up firefox and all my bookmark folders are gone! Yikes!!
These can't get your data back, but will help in the future.
These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox

FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your
Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more.
In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild
your saved files individually into installable .xpi files.
It will also make backup of files that you choose.
