My all health data's disappeared, What happens to Health?

I'm using iPhone 5s 32GB on iOS 8.0.2 [the latest iOS]
SInce updated to iOS 8, I've been tracking my health activities every day,
but in this morning I checked my health activities like I did every day, all of my activities disappeared.
I wasn't sure what happened, so I restarted my iPhone, and they all came back, my health activities, for sure I tried to add my activity, unexpected things happen again, they're gone again.
I'm not sure if this's a bug. but what I'm sure is that in the latest update's notice has shown that it's included Health bug fixed.

Nothing. Everything stays put, but you can't play protected content, or transfer it to a device, until you authorize the computer again.

Sounds like one unit had iOS 5, the other had iOS 4. Unfortunately it happens that some units are shipped from the factory at different times with different Operatin Systems installed.

It sounds like the "Zoom" function is enabled on your phone.
Simply get three fingers and double tap the screen and it should zoom out.
You can turn this feature on and off through Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom.
You can also plug the iPhone into iTunes and on the "Summary" page choose "Configure Universal Access" and change the settings here.

When I purchased my Mac six months ago, I transferred my Quicken data to Quicken Essentials which has worked well for me until yesterday. Now Quicken Essentials will not open the data file. What happened? How do I get back in?

Launch the Quicken application and try to open the file from there, if you haven't already. If that fails, and a simple restart of the computer doesn't help, try reinstalling the application. If that doesn't cure the problem, I would suggest you take this up in the Quicken Community:

Yipes - My iTunes Library Disappeared - What Happened Here???

I have a very large iTunes library on an external drive. Today when I went to work on my collection there were no songs listed when I clicked the music tab in iTunes. I proceeded to restart my heart.
When I went to preferences>advanced it showed the correct location of my music on the external drive.
I am now in the process of adding my iTunes music from the drive into my library
And ideas what might have happened? and how I can prevent it from happening again? And anything else I should be doing?

A crash when the library database file was being updated is one way. Just restore the backup you take regularly. Ah, OK.
It sounds like you are well on the way to rebuilding your library however this will have erased data such as ratings, play counts, playlists etc. If none of this matters then carry on as you are, otherwise here is how to restore the correct library...
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes. In the *Previous iTunes Libraries* folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename *iTunes Library* as *iTunes Library (Rebuild)* and then rename the restored file as *iTunes Library*. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.

IPod froze, then it was BLANK(all songs gone!). What happened?

First my iPod(2nd generation iPod nano) froze. This has happened 2 or 3 times before, and when it does, I've had to let the power run out, then turn it on. When I've done this before, it's always been fine: no longer frozen, all songs present, etc. This time, however, I let the battery run down, turned it on, and while it was no longer frozen, it was completely empty! All the songs were gone, and even my preferences had been reset.
I plugged it into my computer, and it said the iPod was "corrupted." I "Restored" it to its factory settings, and I have now sync'd it, so hopefully now it will work. I also downloaded yet another new version of iTunes, so if that was the problem, maybe now I'll be fine.
Still, I'd like to know just what caused this so I can prevent it from happening again. Anyone know?

There's your answer. Occasionally it would appear that the iPod software becomes corrupt. This doesn't mean that the songs are not on your iPod, hence the fact that the iPod may report used space and iTunes may show them. I've seen this problem many times here on the forums.
I can't answer your question as to why because I've never seen a plausible explanation.

After recent download of update to iPad, I now have no sound and all my games are slow.What happened?

I recently downloaded the offered update to iPad. Now I have now sound and all my games are slow. Plus, anything with a video while surfing can't be viewed. Does anyone know hat happened and how to fix it?

The phone was not restored from the backup.
Frankly, unless the user actually copies the pictures off the device to the computer, there is no guarantee they will return. They should return when restored from backup, but it's not a risk that most intelligent people are willing to take if the photos are considered valuable.
Apps may not be syncing due to the "Sync Apps" option being deselected.

IPhoto '08 events disappeared - what happened?

After latest import, next day noticed all previous events disappeared.
iPhoto books (3 of them) also missing.
iPhoto Library resident on external 1Tb drive - info says it is 43.74 Gb.
Event visible in iPhoto currently is only 170 photos (848 Mb).
It seems as though the Library says everything is there (size-wise) but no events other
than the one listed above are actually visible.
Have restarted several times to maybe reinitialize or something but to no avail.
Is this a case of "upgrade needed" relative to OS?

Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

All hail King Clueless! (What happen to my widgets???)

This is rather odd. I've downloaded 4 or 5 widgets directly from Apple. They're all on my desktop as zip files. However, whenever I double click on any of them, the same thing happens; nothing. It looks like the "zip package" opens up, my dock expands for half a second, seemingly to take in another icon and then nothing. Squat. No new widgets anywhere I can find. There doesn't seem to be any sign of them in dashboard or anywhere else. Is this a stuffit/expander problem? Am I not looking in the right places?
I suspect this actually a very easy answer that will both relieve and chagrin me.

Try this: Control-click the zip file on your Desktop, and select Open with: BOMArchiveHelper. A widget icon should appear on your Desktop, then double click it to install it.

I rented and downloaded two movies from iTunes via my iPad. They show up as purchased in items but won't play. They do not show up in iPad visor app at all. Any ideas on what happened and how to fix are welcome. Thanks

You did try tapping on one of them in that list in the iPod app! This has happened to me and I was able to start the movie from there. You could try restarting the iPad, go into the iPod app and try again.
Now I'm stumped unless it is a corrupt download. You did download right onto the iPad - correct? If you downloaded in iTunes, there is a Move tab or function that you have to select to transfer the movies to the iPad when you sync. They just don't sync over without selecting move.
