My AOL login for iTunes has been changed to an inaccessible e-mail address
I was using my AOL account for iTunes (lets call it [email protected]) but as of April 1st it no longer works. Previously I would login with SCREENNAME + my password, now it's saying my ID has been changed to [email protected] I don't have an AIM account because I had AOL and could access AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) by logging in to my AOL account. Now when I attempt to login it says it's been changed to [email protected], but when I try to access it the old password doesn't work. When attempting a password recovery Apple sends the e-mail to [email protected] instead of [email protected] How do I change this?
Also none of the above is my Apple ID, let's say it's [email protected] When I login to iTunes with [email protected] it shows that I have no App purchases.
3 days later and I finally get a response. The response was basically writing what my question was in a statement then asking if that solved my problem. I am absolutely disgusted by not only the delay in response but the complete lack of attempting to read what my problem is, my iTunes customer support agent simply copied and pasted the information listed here: AOL Usernames can no longer be used with the iTunes Store - Apple Support.
OH, and the issue of apps trying to update themselves is back again for no apparent reason.

When I click on the iTunes ikon I get a box pop up which reads Problem with shortcut. The item iTunes.exe that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly.
My computer which is a packard bell vista operating system, recently stopped working as the power supply overheated and blew up and it has recently been sent back to the Know How team at PC world and it seems to be since it came back I now cannot open iTunes. I have also tried to search for iTunes in the search bar, I can see several files, but can't seem to open any of these either. I think that quicktime isn't working, either.
I have over 4000 songs in iTunes that I had recorded from my collectiong of CD's am going to loose all these now? Can anyone help, with very easy instructions as I really don't know what I am doing??
ThanksI would copy over the entire thing if you have room. With iTunes 10.4 though, you can download any previous iTunes purchases you have made in the past with your current iTunes account. While in iTunes, look at the left hand side of your screen and select "Purchases" and look at the bottom right corner of the screen and select "Download Previous Purchases". If you have an iPhone, iPod and/or iPad...you can do the same thing from each device. Nice new feature...just remember that those ripped CDs need a back-up!!! Enjoy...

You will have to delete your rescue email address first, then go back and change your primary.

You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.

I just downloaded the latest itunes update 11.1 for windows 7 and now when I try to open itunes with the shortcut on my desktop I get this error message: "The item 'itunes.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly." I can't open itunes at all. Is there anything I can do or is there a problem with the new update?

Does that shortcut work?
If so, delete the current shortcut that is in the Quick Start tray and drag the one that is in Start > Programs down there. -
RSA1 error Logical system name has been changed for this system
Hello All,
Earlier the RSA1 was activated for client 300 on our crm 5.2. after that we changed the client to 500 using SE16 -> Type table RSADMINA / Check Colum BWMANDT -> 500.
But now when we login to client 500 and execute RSA1 it is showing
Logical system name has been changed for this system"
In scc4 we have not made any changes. Can you tell what should be done ? in the pop up it is showing following steps
Change the name of the logical system (table T000) for client back to SIDCLNT300. This enables you to continue working with the system.
If you really want to change the logical name, than you can, if and when you:
change the system name back to SIDCLNT300,
delete all existing connections between this system and other systems,
delete all transfer structures that still exist, and
do not use ALE or Workflow.
Guys do you know how to fix this ? .
Also do you know Assignment of Source System to Source System ID (table RSSOURSYSTEM) using RSA1 ?

Both the options you said cannot be used
since the logical system SIDCLNT300 is used by client 300 and it cannot be given to client 500. Also there already exist a logical system SIDCLNT500 which is assigned to client 500.
I found out the issue. In the table RSBASIDOC the logical system name that can use rsa1( bw client )is set as SIDCLNT300). Only if we delete that entry and set it to SIDCLNT500 ( 500) we can use it on client 500.
The solution is specified in /message/3284842#3284842 [original link is broken]
Let me try the solution 2 and inform you.
Solution 2:
You cannot delete the source system. Two cases have to be distinguished:
The source system still exists.
Switch to Transaction SM59. Find the destination which has the same name as the logical system of the source system from field SLOGSYS in table RSBASIDOC (see above).
Such a destination does not exist in Transaction SM59. In this case, you have to create the destination to the source system. Name the destination equal the entry in SLOGSYS from above. Then return to the Administrator Workbench and repeat the deletion.
The entry exists but a remote login is not possible. Correct the communication parameters.
Everything works. Change to Transaction SE37, function module RSAR_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_DELETE, Sngl. test. Parameter I_LOGSYS = <log. name of the source system>, I_FORCE_DELETE = 'X'.
The source system no longer exists or was replaced with another source system with the same IP address.
Proceed as described in the first case but make sure, that the field 'Target host' contains a not existing server in the maintenance screen of the destination (Transaction SM59). If necessary, change an existing entry. Later when you delete, the system asks you whether you want to delete, although the source system is not available. Select 'Ignore'.
Incase you have any idea other than this please let me know how to edit the RSBASIDOC table and change the entry to client 500.

I have been using gmail Id and that has been changed by someone into a hotmail apple id whenever I wanted to sign into my account. I am really really troubled a lot. I have also successfully created another apple ID and password after a lengthy process and tried to go and get downloads, I was asked for my apple id and again the same problem came back and I couldn't be able to use my new account and use apple downloads from iTunes , etc. please, help me as soon as possible. ITunes won't run on W7 - The colour scheme has been changed

Why are some visual elements being automatically turned off?
If you receive a message that some visual elements, such as window frame transparency, have been turned off, or if you receive a message that the theme has been changed to the Basic theme, one of the following might have happened:
A program that you're running is incompatible with Aero themes. When this happens, some visual elements are automatically turned off. When the program is no longer running, the visual elements that were turned off are turned on again automatically.
Your laptop might be running low on battery power. Windows might turn off Aero themes or window transparency to save battery power.

I had run the Aero troubleshhoter and got the problem, not sure if will saty like this, but the result of the scan says: Desktop Window manager is disabled, which was fixed by the troubleshooter, I have no ideea if this DWM will stay as fixed, next time I start Safari or not, but give it a try.

A few months ago on the Technet Gallery, I submitted this custom control to be used on SCSM console forms. The purpose of the control is to eliminate the "This item cannot be updated because it has been changed by another user or process" error
message that we all have seen at least once (a day :) ).
The details are in the gallery description (along with installation instructions for existing forms and your own custom forms).
Here's a "short" description (nothing I ever post here is short :) ): This is a custom control that can be applied to an SCSM form like the Service Request form or Windows Computer form or your own custom form built with the authoring tool or Visual
Studio. When you click "OK" or "Apply" on the form, this control scans the form and Service Manager's database for any changes to the object you have open. If a property that _you_ have changed on the form was _also_ changed in the CMDB
(by a workflow or another user), this control will present a dialog box letting you know what happened. It will also let you choose which value to keep (yours, theirs, or the original value).
Just as importantly (and important in a greater percentage of cases), if a workflow changes a "background" property (like FirstAssignedDate) while you have the form open and you click OK, the control will detect the change and allow the form submission
to go through while keeping your changes and the FirstAssignedDate change that the workflow made. You won't get an error message or even a warning. And most importantly, you won't lose your changes.
That's where the "optimistic" part of the control's name comes from. It applies optimistic concurrency control to SCSM forms, while also providing an anti-collision interface for you to use so you no longer lose any of your changes.
Furthermore, this control will work on related items that are opened in memory; for example, the activities on a Service Request. So if you change an activity's title while the workflow engine sets it in progress, you won't get an error. The activity will
be in progress and will get your new title when you click OK or Apply.
Lastly, (and I admit this part is getting into the deep inner workings of console forms) if your form loads a sub projection at run time (to the root object) this control will detect the load and treat that sub projection as if it were apart of the original
form all along.

I have been a customer of ITunes and Apple since 2007. Movies, Apps, Music and books Itunes has been my only source for my media needs. 397 Apps 759 Songs over 100 Videos 13 books 3 IPhones 2 IPods So here is my problem with ITunes I purchased an App and it is identical to one I have already brought. The App description did not say anything that it would not do what I was trying to do. I wrote sup[port and asked if they could issue a credit. Mari at support wrote back and said he checked with his supervisor and they could not issue a credit. I told them what a good loyal customer I have been to Itunes and Apple and they still refused. Granted the App did not cost a lot of money (3.99) but it’s the principle. With customers having options to shop anywhere I would think a business would do whatever it takes to retain the loyal customers they do have Occasionally I rush to buy an App without fully understanding if it meets my needs. According to ITunes support that has occurred nine times. Here is the last reply that I received Roger, I know how frustrating it can be when things don't work the way they should be and I do apologize for the inconvenience that this may have caused you. I am sorry but we could not be able to grant your request as we have made 9 exceptions on you. You've already had 9 refunds? You understand that apps are sold on a non-return policy, presumably. You bought an app that didn't claim to do something that you wanted from it, and now that you've found that it doesn't, you want your money back.
Perhaps you've failed to explain your point properly but I can't see why you expect any sympathy from users here, not that it would make any difference. Only the store staff can issue refunds if they think appropriate. Chalk it up to experience. You could even contact the developer in advance of a purchase if you want to be certain an app does what you want. Then if it really fails to live up to the promise you would at least have a better argument for a refund.

Itunes has been "processing file" of my down load of Badlands for 8 hours. What is going on?
Update:
15 hrs later and it's still "Processing Album Artwork".
It does that in the background so I can still use iTunes, but can't import anything else until this is finished.
I have over 100 gigs to import and it's taken almost a day to do under 10 gigs.
Is iTunes 10 fu*kin useless?

I have installed the BI system and did a client copy from 000 to 200 client with profile SAP_ALL.
Now I have loged into the system with client 200 and wen I run RSA1, I am getting the following error
message: "Logical system name has been changed for this system"

Goto tcode SCC4.
Switch to change mode. (System will prompt that this table is cross client. Continue)
Select your client (in this case 200). Click on details button (next to change mode button)
Enter the proper logical system name in Logical system field.
Click on Save button.
Then try RSA1.

I Have changed the entries in table "RSADMINA" and maintained the Client no as 100 (My base client for BI) which i have copied from 001.
When iam executing the Transaction RSA1 in 100 it is giving above mentioned error ,whereas in 001 it is working fine.

I tried to change the system logical name by "bdls" but it doesnt worked........Hi Deepak,
Check the entries in table RSLOGSYSMAP (this is meant for correct conversion of logical system names for tansports).
You can easily maintain the entries using tcode RSLGMP.
