My Apple album discovery widget does not function correctly and I needed a little help from an expert

Hi,
I can't get my official iTunes album discovery widget from Apple.com to play audio on my website. If you hit view, it will take you to the iTunes page, which is very good, but if you press play on my website where I have the widget displayed, the buttons for play and stop move and seem to function, but no audio. I contacted Apple app software, but they said they are not responsible for their own widgets and to contact the Apple Support Community. I even put major label acts into the widget and they did not work either and I am thinking this could be a widget that just never worked correctly in the first place. I think it just needs a tweak to fix it in the code, but I can't figure anymore out.

Hey missingrock,
Hope u get round to following this up. I had the same problem and got a quick response from sending message via phg console. They told me to install QuickTime Player and it worked fine for me. That is if your country has an iTunes Music Store.

I wanted to use the iTunes album discovery widget from apple.com for my website to promote a new release of mine. While the widget will take you to my iTunes page when you click on view, it will not play audio when one presses play on the song selection of the widget at my website. Shortkey apple p (print page) does not function anymore

All of the sudden the print page short-key (apple -P) stopped functioning. only a small beep is heard.
in keyboard setting it is not found, if added is still only gives the small beep.
even re-installing leopard does not help.
it is very annoying to alwals have to go to archive window to print
how knows how to solve this.

I would suggest resetting PRAM
It might help - it might not - but it is a start:
■ Shut down your computer. Turn the computer back on and immediately hold down Command-Option-P-R, continuing to press until you hear the startup sound for the second time. This resets the computer’s parameter random-access memory (PRAM).
IMPORTANT: Resetting PRAM may change some system settings and preferences. Use System Preferences to restore your settings.
Reinstalling is almost never a solution for these things.

Apple Mail read status does not update correctly

I have one iMac running Mavericks and using Apple Mail to run three IMAP accounts provided by a local Apple Mountain Lion Server.
It exhibits two issues:
Firstly it fails to refresh the view automatically in the message viewer window.
The header at the very top of the window will update live when a new message comes in so that it says "X Messages (Y Unread)" with the correct numbers. The list of messages does not update unless you switch mailboxes, then switch back again. Then they appear instantly.
The second and more critical issue is that the read and unread status of messages is not updating correctly at all. Refreshing the view make no difference. Two of the three accounts are shared with 6 other iMacs running Mountain Lion and Snow Leopard. None of these have an issue.
I have deleted and re-added the accounts several times, I have tried a completely clean new user account. Sometimes the first issue goes away but it returns after a short time.
The next step would be to erase the whole Mac but I am reluctant to go to the hassle as I have a suspicion that this will not make a difference and that there is a glitch with Mail on Mavericks. I have run all updates.

To narrow down the issue, we need more investigation:
1.Does the issue occurs only in Category view? Please check if user 1 set the view to Date and email read status update.
2.Does the issue occurs to user1's own mailbox with the same setting as shared mailbox?
3.If the shared mailbox is in cached mode, please check Account Settings > Change > More Settings... > Adwanced > Use Cached Exchange mode > check Download shared folders.
4.Please switch to online mode for shared mailbox and test the issue.

Shutdown does not function correctly

The shutdown function does not shut down PC. It cycles to the start page. This started after I installed HP Protect Tools.

Included with the flash tool is memtest, run memtest first to verify no memory errors. You may want to perform the flash with a single stick of memory installed.
Let us know if this fixes the problem.
The next thing to try is see if it is the IMC, did you buy 2x 4gb kits or a 4x4 kit?
Try removing 1 kit, (Check s/n if nessesary) many people have issues with 4 sticks unless they are from the same batch.

Firfox does not open up and I need to save my bookmarks before I uninstall it

I recently upgraded to firefox 3.6.8 (the latest version) and since then its not opening up. I click on firefox icon, the window opens up but does not load anything, it freezes eventually and I have to close it down. I can not click on anything in firefox such as bookmarks or tools or file options since it freezes. so I want to save my bookmarks before uninstalling the firefox. Plz help me. Or is there a solution without uninstalling it? I have tried the safe mode but it doesn't work. Plz help me.

If you have just added an address to your account then it will be an alternate email address - a rescue email address can only be added by answering 2 of your questions. You will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.

You can't watch HBO using the Safari browser on the iPad at all. HBO has an app in the App Store called HBO GO. You must subscribe to HBO in order to use it

After sec. update 2008-007, Spaces does not function correctly

I installed the 2008-007 Security Update last night, and after restarting, I have found that spaces won't work correctly.
I have different apps set to different spaces, such as iTunes in 4 and safari in 2. If I'm in Safari, and use command-tab to switch to iTunes, the menu bar changes, and the keystrokes behave as if I'm in iTunes, but the screen won't change to that space; I have to do that manually (ctrl-arrow or hot corner).
Is this happening with anybody else out there?

There's more than one type of reset ...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

Firefox does not function correctly when validating payments with HSBC bank

When HSBC bank security is invoked by a website within an inline page the confirmed page is presented within the inline subpage in such a way that one cannot continue with the transaction confirmation, consequently the payment verification fails. Google chrome, safari and explorer do not suffer from this problem. It makes using my favourite browser impossible whenever I need to security verify any payment on a number of websites.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar or the Babylon extension that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links and buttons in that part of the screen not clickable.

Hi everybody, I've decided to post here in order to get some advices (maybe some of the moderators are not going to agree with me) from some of you (wonkanoby, Osnavi, Stu online, among others...) that I have the certainty that you could help me out here.
So here it's the message posted in the VGA MSI cards forum, but I didn't received any answers... And I'm so sorry for doing this but I don't see any other option, I really appreciate your advices, so here it's:
"Hi, I'm trying to use the VIVO function on a MSI Geforce FX 5600 but without any good result. I've installed the last WDM driver and also the lates Nvidia drivers, also the Info executable for Intel Chipset (inf, AGP), the motherboard can't asign an IRQ to the AGP (possible solution suggested by Nvidia itself to reponse to: "code 10 the device can't start"), I don't know if this mobo it's not compatible with this function or with this vid card. I'm pretty shure that I can't capture any video files without having the need of using any third part software (adobe premiere, capture solution, tv-christ, among others) and please advice me if I'm wrong, (I've tried MSI media Center deluxe without any success). The error code that the device manager shows is this(on nvidia WDM video Capture): Error code 10, the device can´t start.

There may be an IRQ issue that the Intel crowd may be better suited to help with. You may have a device IRQ conflict, I've had this happen before and you have to look at your IRQ's for starters and look at slot population. The Creative card may be in a shared slot further complicating the issue or perhaps even the drivers are conflicting.
I suggest you tell us what slots are populated and post your IRQ's.

Spry Menu Issues - Not functioning correctly in Microsoft IE

I am fairly new to web design and dreamweaver.
I have constructed a simple page that I am happy with complete with Spry Menu which again I am happy with. However this spry menu works perfectly in firefox but for some reason on IE my spry menu does not function correctly and goes all over my page!

THE CONFLICT IS BETWEEN YOUR DOCUMENT CSS AND THE SPRY CSS.
It is because the <li> and <a> TAGS have been styled and therefore OVERRIDDEN THE SPRY CSS.
Use CLASS TAGS e.g. <li class="anyclass"> and <a class="anyclass">
and STOP USING THE <a> TAGS.
N.b. you may need to unstyle any <a> or other TAGS that conflict with the SPRY CSS. (However it's best to start over knowing that styling basic tags may affect the SPRY CSS).

Widgets not functioning correctly on tablet layout

I've noticed that my new ipad is showing my tablet layout of muse website, but some of the widgets are not functioning correctly. I have tried a few widgets for the tablet layout and it has resulted in problems.
Please take a look at www.littlesouth.com for an example of the current error.

IMusic does not work correctly following iOS5 upgrade

After updgrade to iOS 5, my iMusic app does not function correctly. The bottom row of buttons do not display (Playlists, Songs, Artists, Albums). The More button will display the options, but when selected, the screen remains blank (black). I can display the album cover and the generic music note when playing music, but otherwise the screen remains black. When I rotate from portrait to landscape, a thin brown border cuts across the landscape screen at the same width the app was in Portrait.

Rebooting/restarting has not corrected this for me. It's easily repeated. The app needs some QA testing. The only way out of the blank/black screen for me has been to force quit the app. Rebooting the pad makes no difference.
