You apparently did not migrate your MobileMe account to iCloud before 1 August? In this case your MobileMe account has been permanently deleted and all its contents lost, as was announced over a year ago.
Your signature says your Mac has 10.6.8; you cannot set up an iCloud account on that. However you can reactivate your @me.com address (though not retrieve its contents including any aliases) by going to Settings>iCloud on your iPhone (iOS5 required), signing in with your @me.com address and password, and enabling Mail in the list there.
That done, you can set up Mail manually on Snow Leopard to access your iCloud email:

It depends on which password you are referring to, but generally speaking you can always restore the Apple TV.

Sounds like you follow good practices.
This has been going around for some time in various forms, a number of users have asked about it and the best advice is if in doubt go doirectly to Apple, not links in the email. Calling Apple or using the Apple site is always the best approach.
A few have even noticed very slight misspellings in the emails, things like Appel instead of Apple...most people don't even notice those.

Another problem with Firefox is that if I'm typing up a long paragraph in my Yahoo email that takes about 10-15 minutes or more, then when I hit send, I get a Yahoo sign in page. All that typing is gone!! Now I have to type the whole thing over again, if I can remember it. It's pain in the butt!!
I've learned the hard way that any time I use Firefox, I have to copy & paste it to Notepad, sign back in, and paste it in my email, and hit send before it happens again. I don't have this problem w/I.E. The problem I do have w/I.E. is that it takes forever to work. That's why I went to Firefox but now Firefox has problems.

That article is a great help if you remember your OLD login password.
If not, the bad news is in this article:
OS X: Keychain Access asks for keychain "login" after changing login password
read it carefully, It explains how to change your keychain by using the OLD password.
If you don't remember your original (former) account password
If you don't remember your original password, you'll need to delete the keychain. Deleting a keychain also deletes all the password data saved in that keychain.
If this applies, it means is that your old saved passwords are lost.
You will have to start collecting them anew and adding them to the new keychain. Use Web mail and log in to your email with a Browser. Get them to send you your old password or reset it, then record the new one in Mail Preferences, and it will be saved in the current login keychain.
You will have to do a similar exercise with your other saved passwords.

try to boot in safe mode, and check there if you have any alternate account (administrator ect) where you can gain access to your window and then change password of it.

Apple ID account was hacked; all details was changed.

I received an email from Apple stating my recent purchases.
"Your Apple ID was just used to purchase Fat Face Booth from the App Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID."
Now, I didn't purchase ANYTHING.
So like any normal circumstances, I'd change my password and all is good.
BUT I WAS WRONG.
This email was sent Monday, and I read it Wednesday. When I got to the reset password page, my password was already well.. not my password. so I couldn't proceed. I thought maybe I just forgot about it and so I chose the first option... I'll just ask them to send me an e-mail to retrieve my password. I waited and no e-mail was sent. Huh. That's weird. So I chose the second option, retrieve password through details. The first question was when was my birthday. I put it in and the results were... my birthday was INCORRECT. Now, I clicked the previous button in the hopes of trying the first option and the email was just delayed but it NEVER CAME. I couldn't possibly forget my birthday. That's absurd. And the fact that no email was sent to me means my email address is no longer in use.

How do I delete an old icloud account off my phone if the email address had been hacked and the password has been changed?

My old email was hacked and since then my passwords have been changed. I have a new apply ID which if fine, but my phone is asking me for my old apple ID password before I can delete it from my ICloud. The problem is I cant reset the password and my birthday verification isnt working. I am unable to do anything in icloud because it is forever telling me my password is wrong. my new apple ID seems to be working on every other part of my phone. Any ideas what to do?

Well you can try this, but I'm not sure it's going to work if this is an entirely new ID.
Go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Hello. I am the owner of an apple iPhone 5. I recently tried to update an app, to my dismay, the app store was not recognizing my apple id password. I checked my email to see if there was an email and sure enough, there was an email from apple with the subject reading "How to Reset your Apple id Password" and also "Your Apple id Password has been reset". The disturbing part is that these emails were received at 1:26 AM and 1:27 AM. The other mysterious part is that the emails do not show up in my email on the computer, but they do on my phone. However, the emails were deleated from my mailbox. I know this because i tried to access them on my phone and what I get is "Sorry, there was an error while loading this message." This morning received a message that my password has successfully been reset, although I did not reset this.
My password did not work anymore so it has indeed been reset.
So I changed my password again.
I did not change my security questions because I have changed them not long ago.
I also did not receive a mail of 'how to reset your password, so it wasn't hacked through my mail.
But to be sure I did change my mailbox password.
I have an apple device (iPhone 5 and ipad) since November 2012 and it had been hacked already 4 times. 2 times by someone from china who bought an app and bought for 120euros of in-app purchases which luckily got refunded.
I really don't know how they do this. I am the only one who knows the answers to the security questions and there is no way someone could guess these because some answers are fictional. I have also had to change my password a dozen times and there are no kids in my household that can tingle with my devices.
My iPhone and iPad are genuine and not jail-broken.
