My Apple ID cannot restart my iPhone 4S

Hello,
I have an iPhone 4S.
By playing with it, my daughter has zoomed the screen and I couldn't reduce it as I didn't know how to do it at that time.
After several access attempts with my passcode, my iPhone has blocked. Afterwhat, I've come up to reduce my screen display.
Somebody help me to erase my iPhone and restart it.
When restarting, my Apple ID and passcode were asked to me.but all the time used my usual passcode, it is not recognised.
So, when trying to reset my password, the automatic email sent to my assistance email adress was  never arrived after several attempts.
I've changed the Apple ID and Password but the last one are required in place of the new one I created.
How to do in this case.

You need to use the id that was used in Settings > iCloud on the phone

    I having the same issue about the and iTunes says "The iPhone cannot be restored at this time because the iPhone software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable.". I've had the  iPhone 3GS since it came out. It was working fine until I just tried to  update it. It has never been hacked or jailbroken. We and a few others are having  the same issue then it is more than likely that this is an update issue.  I took mine to the Apple store and the tech tried to update it and he  came to the same problem and told me he couldn't update it. My  assumption is that we are not the only one's with this issue and that if  there was a way to update it to the update before this last one it  might be a solution. I don't know how to get the previous update. Apple  probably is aware of the problem, and hasn't come up with a solution  yet. Or, enough people haven't complained yet. The tech suggested that  there might be something wrong with the phone itself, but that couldn't  be since it was working perfectly before I updated it and others are  having the same issue. It is highly unlikely that a lot of people are  not having the same hardware issue all of a sudden at the same time.

    I changed my Apple ID on my computer in my account settings.  I have connected my iPhone to the computer but everytime I try to access iTunes, it brings up my old Apple ID and I cannot figure out how to change it.  According to the "help" guides, simplying syncing the iPhone to your computer should do it, but I have had no success.  Can anyone please advise?

    Yesterday i was updating my i Phone 4 to the latest version of the software. However, during the updating process, my iPhone was hang and unable to ON. Please advice what is the problem and how to resolve it?

    also, i should mention that the home button on this phone is BROKEN permanently.  hasn't worked in months.  i've been using the floating on-screen home button, but since the screen is unresponsive that does me no good at the moment.  also, although itunes recognizes the phone i cannot restore it because it says i need to change my icloud settings on the phone first before i can.  but again, i cannot access any features of the phone whatsoever.  i just need to turn it off and turn it back on again.  but like i said, with a broken home button that appears to be impossible.  when i hold down the lock/power button for 10 seconds to attempt a restart it does nothing.  i really have no idea what to do.  HELP!

    AM a Hong Kong iPhone user. Well,with ~officially autherized~ local 3G server. I have problems with "service unit" and I searched for all your answers here.
    As we are told, the "service unit" iphone is either a new one or a refurb. A reburb may be tested more before coming back to a customer. But earlier this year, a HK user once even got back a service unit (look absolutely-new) without information wiped--- when he connected his new weapon with itunes, an unfriendly, strange name appeared.. so ironic.
    I'd rather believe it is something "accidental". But how could I even believe they provide a reburb with good quality? Better can it last until the second anniversary of my two-year contract..
    My iphone runs well with all functions; but two small cracks appear near the earphone position and am just afraid they would cause more severe problems to the shell. The service staff told me I will receive a "service unit" one. I asked if it was a new phone, his answer quite ambiguous-- "not-used, service unit". Will it worth doing that? Am quite in doubt with the "service unit"...

    Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
    - Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear.  (For iOS 6 older, hold down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
    - Relaunch the App and try again.
    - Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
    - Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
    - Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
    - Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
    - Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137  For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
    - Test the issue after each step.  If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.

    Not fishy at all!!!! You really think I would have taken any more of my time to post a bogus rant? We'll no, it is unfortunately all true. I want to hear from anyone who is experiencing such problems not anyone else that wants to put there two cents in. I really don't need anymore hate or negativity. Just people's experiences because I feel like I am the only one having so many problems. Thank you
    Yes, I have had some unfortunate bad luck to have so many problems at the same time, but some of them are just things you cannot do on the new OS.

I tried the steps you have provided in your troubleshooting, but it won't work for me because the Apple Mobile Devilce is perfectly installed on my windows. However, the driver "Microsoft teredo Tunneling adapter" has a yellow exclamation mark, which i believe means it's not installed correctly or something is wrong with it. This driver is under the Network Adapters (Please see picture below).
    This is what happens when I connect my iPhone 4s to my laptop (Windows 7 Starter 32-bit)
    1. The phone charges it's battery
    2. I can open it in My Computer and import/export media files.
    In iTunes
    3. It start to sync until step 3 then stops.
    4. The iPhone option with an arrow appears beside the iTunes Store, but when the arrow is clicked it disappears.
    I hope you can provide me a solution for this problem.

    Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
    For your iTunes issue with it not recognizing your iPhone, I would go ahead and suggest deleting iTunes and all of its components from your Windows computer and installing fresh.
    Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

    Remove iTunes and related components from the Control Panel
    Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order and then restart your computer:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support
    Bonjour

    Important: Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
    As far as the arrow button that you click and the iPhone disappears, it sounds like you may be clicking on the eject button. Please take a look at the following article for information on the eject button in iTunes.

    If you do not remember your old id's password, go to iforgot.apple.com and see if you can remember or reinstate it.  Without it you cannot reactivate your iPhone.

    I'm having a similar problem.  I had previously (over a year ago) purchased 2 episodes of Law & Order.  Then about 2 months ago, I purchased the 3rd season of Sons of Anarchy.  When I downloaded these episodes to my iPad, about a dozen full seasons of various shows popped up, too.  No money was removed from my iTunes account & theses particular shows aren't in my iTunes library on my desktop.  I've tried every which way to delete them from my ipad, but can't.  I went to the Apple store & they suggested I contact expresslane.apple.com for help.  I submitted my problem, via email Friday, as they asked, but have not received any response.  Any suggestions on how to get rid of these "phantoms?".
