My apple id hacked?

How can i figure out if my apple id is being hacked, as well as my e-mail and my iphone. The other night all of a sudden i got signed out of everything and none of my passwords would work. so i had to make new passwords and then it happened again as if someone changed my password while i was literally sitting there on my computer. i also got an email that my apple id was being used from an ipad mini.. i dont have one. I ended up deleting my email address and creating a new one and changing the one i used for my apple id. BUT out of no where.. my verizon iphone suddenly got cut off and i had to call and reactive it.. can anyone please help me and tell me what could possibly be happening.. is there anyway i can find out where its coming from if it is hacked?

It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os version" you are using is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions as well as which model Macbook Pro you are using.

  • Can Apple Employees hack my iCloud/iMessage/iTunes/Private Apps/Photo Sharing?

Can Apple Employees hack my iCloud/iMessage/iTunes/Private Apps/Photo Sharing? I was recently in the Apple Store and was asked for my Apple Id/password, and to enter it onto the stores iPad. Coincidently, my email associated with my Apple ID was hacked, and numerous times a day I will be asked for my Apple ID password for iMessage and iCloud. I finally changed my email and password for APPLE ID and now literally every 45 seconds a screen for iCloud pops up. What can be accessed using my iTunes account? I had personal and private data including bank accounts, photos, location enabled GPS for most apps. Is it possible that an Apple employee (with good reason) could get a hold of this information??

We have become familiar faces since I go into the Apple Store and we know some of the same people through mutual friends. Everything I know about her she has told me, and mostly just innocent conversation at the apple store. I'm not going to report someone is stalking me if I dont know for a FACT that she is stalking me. It didnt catch my attention until a few friends who don't know her, just the situation started noticing it. I changed my apple ID so hopefully it stops, but like I said - it came to the point of being too frequent to be a coincidence. I guess re-routing back to my original question ....... Can an Apple Employee hack into my account and download the apps under my Apple ID and use my iMessage, iCloud, ect.... I don't understand why it is such a secret! its either a yes or no question. I don't feel comfortable knowing that I have had devices (not my own) that have been granted permission for iMessage (I received the notification on my ipad that another ipad had turned on imessage under my apple ID), and at the time I was not aware that someone would desire the need to log into my account to read my imessages - or could actually do it? I'm very very secretive about passwords, and would not even write on the forum about this if I didn't think it were possible. I appreciate all of your responses, I truely do but this has been going on since before March when I first created the post so understandably its been on the back of my mind for quite some time!

  • Apple ID hacked from Taiwan and used  to download app

My Apple ID was compromised this morning by someone in Taiwan.  They download 1 application: Kingdomg CCG, before I was able to change my password, security questions, and enable 2-step verification.  It looks like they coulnd't get to my credit card info - when I logged into the account from iTunes, the credit card info was deleted.  I'm still concerned about in-app purchases.  I filed a ticket with YMC (which made Kingdoms CCG) but am not sure how much good will come of that.  Can the hacker still make in-app purchases using the credit card previously associated with my apple ID?

There have been a number of posts about this happening from Taiwan. If you haven't already done so then you should change your account's password (they shouldn't be able to make purchases if you change the password), and preferably the passwords for any email accounts that you have on your account just in case.

  • Completely unresponsive... Repetitive showing of Apple. Hacked? Bricked?

I am, indeed, yet another confused iPod touch user, this time however, rightly so.
Before the issue occurred, the iPod was working, but certain things were not, I was unsure if it was my iPod, or simply a problem with the AIM servers. I had been using the application Palringo Lite to use AIM's IM to SMS feature. The returned messages were simply symbols and letters, completely random (was not base64). I figured it was AIM's encryption not working properly, so I simply called the person I was texting, and spoke for a few minutes. The issue seemed to be resolved after the phone call had ended.
My iPod's battery had reached the end of its life yet again, and my nearest charger was my 32-pin USB iPod connector. At first, I plugged it into my keyboard, I thought I'd get enough power through it to charge the iPod. It was plugged in for a few seconds when the apple logo showed up. It came up much faster than normally. I unplugged the iPod, as nothing more was happening with my computer, and I held the top button for two seconds. The Apple logo again appeared, remained for 16 seconds, and disappeared. Nothing more happened. I simply left it alone until this morning.
This morning, I tried again, returning the same results. My charger dock did the same thing. I then moved the iPod to my computer, plugged it into the keyboard again, and watched as iTunes spun the little beachball, sat unresponsive for several seconds, then continued working normally, not showing my iPod anywhere. This told me that iTunes recognized then rejected my iPod. I unplugged the USB end of the cable and plugged it into the back of my computer (iMac mid-2007). This time, iTunes did nothing at all. The iPod again showed the apple for 16 seconds, then the backlight shut off.
I tried holding both the sleep and home buttons down at the same time for 20 seconds, the apple again showed, and 16 seconds later disappeared.
My next step is to simply allow the battery to drain completely, and try again.
Any advice? Have I been hacked? Is my iPod bricked? Has it simply lived and died?

  • APPLE ID HACKED - CHANGED SECURITY QUESTIONS

How can you reset your security questions, after the Apple Database has been hacked. Received message that security questions were changed. Check all my apple devices, not one them was online during the period when the questions were changed. THE APPLE ID database was hacked. I NEED MY ACCOUNT RESET - I CANNOT CHANGE QUESTIONS AS THEY ARE NOT THE ONES I WOULD USE AND HAVE NO ANSWERS.

Happened to me to, they changed my password then changed my USER ID.  Called Apple Security and they could find my account by my name finally but couldn't reset the user name or password because I couldn't tell them the security questions, USER ID or password, regardless of the fact I could tell them everything else on the account, my credit card number, home address etc.  After 2 hours on the phone I got one security guy that was nice and gave me the uSER ID, something based out of China, with that we reset the password and I changed it back to my old USER ID.
Just this past weekend I got 3 emails from Apple wanting to reset my password, well I didn't generate that. This morning I get another email from Apple all in Chinese characters so now I know something is up, I had NEVER responded to any of the phishing emails on the weekend either. By the time I got to my computer they had already changed my password but not user name YET! I very quickly changed the USER ID, password and security questions myself. I have also now changed my actual email password in the hopes this will stop whoever this CHINESE RETARD is that is continuously trying to steal y Apple account.  Funny thing was when he got it the first time he didn't steal the balance from an iTunes gift card that was still in my account.
Be ware of those phishing emails and use them as an alert that something is going on with your Apple account!!!
Anyone have any other ideas to try and stop them from getting my ID again!!!  Gotta give him A for effort on taking it!!!

  • HT201303 Apple ID hacked!

Someone managed to hack my account, change the Email Address, password and Apple ID.
How is that possible!? I had strong password which consisted of letters numbers symbols and upper case letters.
Has this ever happened to anyone?
Even if hacked, why does Apple allow anyone to change the email address and apple ID!?

How it happened is probably not something you'll ever find out. It could be that you fell for a phishing attack and gave your password to a convincing lookalike site. Perhaps someone hacked your e-mail address, which would allow them to reset the associated Apple ID password (by intercepting the reset e-mail).
As for why changes to an Apple ID are allowed... well, things change. Since all your iTunes and App Store purchases are linked to your Apple ID, that ID must be able to change in response to something like an e-mail address change.

  • Apple ID hacked

This case has been reported to the customer service, I'm posting here to seek for some ideas on this scenario. Hope everyone could have a discussion on how this could be done.
The device is lost, and I logged in to icloud account immediately and find out the device is already offline. So I set this device in "Lost Mode", as well, I checked the "Notify when found" box.
After that, I logged on to iCloud once per day to confirm about the status of the lost device and it remains offline until a week later, I notice I can't log in with my apple id. When I perform a password change request and managed to log in again, I found out the lost device has been deleted from the device list.
Now the strange thing is, the password of my apple id seems to be changed but I didn't receive any email on the password change, and base on my gmail activity log, no unauthorised log in happeded as well.
Anyone has idea on how this could happen?
