I can't update my apps or download anything. what should i do?!
Same here! been trying to fix this for 2 days and havent heard back from my email to apple... why is there not a phone number to call to get support for this?? i found a number and called it and finally spoke with someone and they just gave me another number that ended with a recording telling me to go to thi website for help. maybe apple doesn't want me and my company to spend money at there store...hah

I had alot of bookmarks and passwords on my firefox sync. However, I rebooted my computer a few days ago and now when I clicked on "Merge sync data" my data still does not appear and it seems like everything has been deleted. Can I restore this data?
I have tried restoring it but it only shows dates for the last 5 days which doesn't help. I rebooted my computer (formatted hard drive and reinstalled windows) a few days ago so any backup files in my computer are gone. I thought that there are backup copies made on the Firefox server but obviously I was wrong!
I don't see the point of Firefox sync if you can't view your bookmarks etc online and if there aren't backups made on the server. -
Okay so I let my baby sister play with my Ipod and then whenever I came back home the next day the Ipod says "Ipod is disabled" "connect to itunes". But whenever I try to connect it to itunes it says there is an error and wont connect it. So therefore I cannot connect it to itunes to fix the Ipod.
Your sitter must have tried logging into the device using the wrong passcode. Do it too many times and the device becomes disabled.
Connect to your computer in recovery mode per the instructions in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212
You may need to do this more than once. -

Got it sorted. AN e-mail to teh support centre got me three replies, two reasuring me that someone os working on it and the third giving me the information that the ID is enabled again and ready to use. All within 24h. Of course without any information as to why the problem came up in teh first place. At least it was swift action.

You are being phished. I suggest that you immediately change your Apple ID password as it might now be compromised. Never (and I mean never) follow a link in an unsolicited email. Go directly to the Apple website to handle this.

You've followed all of the instructions on the TS2446 page that you posted from ? i.e. after resetting your password you've logged out and back into your account on your device ?

I have received a message that my Apple ID has been disabled and don't know what to do?
I recently purchased a new iPhone4 and registered it immediately on line. I needed to download an application to be able to use it with an FM transmitter in the car and I was informed that my Apple ID has been disabled. There was nothing about security on the disabled message and when I visited the support website to get assets there were none that applied to my situation. I just installed Mac OS Maverick in my laptop, but when i checked the Users&Groups There are only 2 User name 1 is "Apple(admin) and 2 is Guest, my user account name has been changed even the password. how can i retrieve my old user account name and password or how can i changed it?Here's an updated set of instructions you can try:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).
