My Apple ID has been locked for security reasons 7 times in the last two days.

Since this past Sunday, I have had to go to the iforgot.apple.com site and unlock my apple ID at least 8 times. I didn't initiate a password change, nor did I unsuccessfully log in to anything. I found out because my daughter would bring me the iPad and on it a dialog box popped up for me to log into the iTunes store. Putting in my password didn't work. I haven't gotten any emails letting me know it's been locked. I only reveive an email when I unlock it.
I know that my Apple ID is a simple one, and one that other people often mistakenly think is theirs. I've gotten loads of emails over the years meant for other people.  I've had my Apple ID (and associated email) since Steve Jobs first announved the @mac.com addresses via iTools.  I don't want to change or lose it for sentimental reasons as well as practical.
I've tried to call Apple about this and so far haven't gotten anywhere. I set up two factor authentication about two weeks ago. At that point, the emails for password resets stopped and all seemed great until two days ago.
I've searched the support forums and so far have encountered others having the same issue, but no resolutions. So, I am mostly posting just to make sure Apple knows it's still happening.

Thank you. I know you're all users and not official Apple tech support, but I also know that the results of these discussions make their way up to search engines, and that Apple has to be aware that the issues discussed here happen.
As for the link to contact the iTunes support, I have already used that. I have a "ticket number" in their system, and have signed up for Apple to call me tonight after work. I was on hold with them yesterday for about 40 minutes, but had to hang up when my children's doctor called (they are both sick).
I was just venting, in the hopes that my venting would find others in the same troubled spot and we could share our frustratons together.

    yesterday i try to sign in at manage my apple id web site and its accept my old password
    befor told me account disabled
    i refreshed my trusted devices and all is ok now

    i think when any one trying to hack apple id its disabled for some time and enabled again by apple systems
    idont know how but its great to get back my account
    now i will go to stop 2 verifcation step method and use old method q&a

  • Update so that all apps are registered to my current apple ID from an email that is no longer valid. When I try and log into the old Apple ID I am told it has been 'locked for security reasons'

    I have a very old apple ID that was used to install some of my first apps that I still use today such as Whats App. I cannot install updates for these apps because my apple ID is no longer operational and when I try and reset this apple ID I get an error message saying this apple ID has been blocked for security reasons. NB. I cannot reset using email verification as the email doesnt exist anymore and when I tried inputing my security questions I couldn't get past my birth questions and then got "you have too many failed attempts at verification...so this apple ID has been blocked".

    The old Apple ID apps cannot be transferred to the new ID so you would be best to delete and download new.

    For security questions reset, contact the country support number from http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 and ask to speak with the Account Security Team.

    When I try to log in to my iTunes store account i get the following message:

    I've waited a while and tried again (as in a week or longer), and the account is still disabled.
    Can anyone tell me how to get the ID enabled again, since as of now I'm unable to buy / download any content from the store. Which makes my iPhone a sad phone
    My assumption is the problem is i have a rather desirable account name: i am constantly receiving notifications of failed logins to my account, presumably by scripts trying to hack it. But i have a secure password, so no problem. But perhaps this has led to the account being deactivated?
    Any help / or reactivating the account would be great.

    I have had an iTunes account for years with no issue. Lately, I have been receiving the dreaded "This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons" message every few weeks on my iPad 2(currenly, my only iOS device). I go through the process of reauthorizing my password and info and it works again for a while, then happens again some time later. It's getting annoying. I'm not sure what's changed. Only two computers are authorized to use my account and I am the only one who can log into either of them. No one knows my info and I live alone.
    The only thing I can think is that it's a bot spamming my e-mail address and passwords in an attempt to hack my account. If that's the case, am I really going to have to go through this every few weeks just to use my iPad? Don't get me started on how stupid it is to have to type in your password to update existing apps. And that's usually when I find out, not when I actually purchase one.
    Is anyone else having this issue? I'm wondering if it's more widespread. Some time ago, a chinese app was mysteriously purchased on my account. Apple refunded the purchase and reset my password. That was about the time that all of this started. The reviews on the app left no doubt that it was happening to numerous people and I have no idea how they would have forced a purchase on so many user accounts.

    Today i tried to download one application ande when i typed my apple id pasword somthig was wrong "Your account is disabled. This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons . Tap reset to reset our account. "  When i tried to reset my accout there was this messege that my password wasn't correcr . But there was no way .. i'm sure that this was my password . So i made a new Apple id but now there is another problem  i can't change my iCloud id because i forgot my old password and there is this application "Find my iphone " which i can't delete .. so what could i do ??

    Is there anybody know why there's a message : "your blackberry ID account has been locked for security reason.try again later" when I try to open 'my world' and 'my account' in blackberry app world.
    Before that thing happens,there's install suggestion : 'new ID update is needed.do you want to install it now?' (Or something like that) and I choose 'yes',and after that my decice is restarted then I can't open my world,my account,and I can't download anything in blackberry app world because of that message

    This message appeared several months ago when I attempted to update an app on my iPhone 4, I attempted to reset my password, however, it is telling me that I am answering the security questions incurrectly and when I click the option to reset the password by email it never sends me an email. Please do not give me the link to https://iforgot.apple.com/ following those instructions DOES NOT WORK. I have emailed Apple five times describing the situation and telling them that following the instructions on iforgot.apple.com does not help but everytime they send me an email back after several days telling me to go to iforgot.apple.com and follow the steps. I had to use my brother's itunes account just to post this. I searched all over the other threads but I did not find anything of any use, others have complained of the same problem but have not received any helpful advice. Also I cannot update any apps on my phone, my wife is experiencing the same problem but on different devices so it is not something wrong with my phone and Macbook.     I have (sorry forgot to add that). I was switched around and finally I was told I would be put through to a supervisor but after being on hold for about 10 minutes the phone went dead, I did not lose connection so I do not know if I was hung up on or there was some technical difficulty. I called again yesterday and did in fact speak with a supervisor for Account Security but he told me he did not know why it was happening and put me through to a different number but that ended up not being any helpful either. That's when I decided to give it a shot on here!
