My apple id is blocked, i cannot reset my password due to too many tries, wont allow me to put in correct birth date, no access to icloud and i do not know how to get my email address i linked to icloud and i cannot log onto icloud
i tried to update my phone, which didn't work this then tried to restore my phone now it wants me to put in my icloud log in which i couldnt change due to not knowing my password, this got blocked for security reasons, i then tried to go to the password reset which it blocked too for too many tries, i now cannot do a thing with the site and my phone, i want to reset my phone to factory setting and start over but i do not have access to my phone and itunes wants me to log in with details i do not have and cannot get, i cannot do anything with my phone until i get it unblocked, tried to contact support but it just says no answer is available.
Call apple tech support. I had the same kind of issue with my daughters iPhone and they were very helpful

When I open a pdf file, after a few seconds, it hides the toolbar and I don't know how to get it back. I use multiple monitors and, without being able to grab the toolbar, I am unable to move the pdf file to a different monitor. How do I stop this?
Does Firefox switch to full screen if you press F11 ?
You can also try the F10 key to see if that brings up the menu bar.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

Hey guys, I've just recently bought a second hand iPhone 5s off of ebay for christmas. It's cost me £260.00 plus £8.00 delivery costs I have full proof of purchase including receipts and have also already rung apple's support team as well as taking the phone to local phone repair stores it's clear to me that I have no other options than to get in contact with the phone's previous owner but, I currently cannot view the whole email address even after making an appointment with apple in Westfield yesterday they were quite adamant about me contacting the previous owner but not sure how i'm going to do that when I can't see an email address displayed clearly on the activation screen.
If a second-hand iOS device has been 'Activation locked' then only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
If you are unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all. Apple cannot unlock it for you nor find the previous owner.
You should if possible return it to eBay or the seller and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless: the vendor has sold you a brick - I don't know whether eBay have a complaints procedure which might help you. -
I have a 2nd generation shuffle and want to use it for my grandson. On connecting to my PC it asks the question ". do you want to delete everything on the shuffle and replace with that on your iTunes". I do not want to do this I want to start again and manually add items. How do I get it to do this please
A 2G Shuffle can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time. So if you are trying to connect and use the Shuffle with a new computer/iTunes library, you'll need tor restore it before you can begin syncing or manualy adding content to it from the new library.
So go ahead and restore the iPod and then configure it for manual management. See this article for more details on configuring the shuffle for manual management.

I was playing around with finder this evening and I dragged 'segate' out from under devices to my desktop and it popped and made the trash sound. It is not in my trash bin and I unplugged the hard drive and plugged it back in again and still does not show up on finder.I can no longer back up my files because it wont read the segate but still pops up in disk utility. How do I add it back to finder?
I tried that and it still does not pop up or allow me to back up to the computer but the light is turned on for the hard drive

I don't know why but somehow my imovie has dissapraed off my desktop when I want to be working on it. When I click new project at the top of the screen the file then reappears from the top right corner of my creen but does not fill my whole desktop. I then click on a name for a new project and then the app just disspears again inot the top right corner of my screen and I do not know how to get it back? This is is the first time this has happened.

My iPad does not have the automatic software update and I do not know how to get IOS 6 onto it. When I go into settings there is no software update button.
If you are really on iOS 5 then look in Settings > General > Software update.
Otherwise:
If you are using iOS 4 (or earlier) there is no Software Update in Settings. That feature was first added in iOS 5.
To update you will have to connect your iPad to iTunes on a computer (preferably the one you sync with and backup to).

I don't know what the problem is with your corrupt/unopenable document on CD. I wonder if you can display it with QuickLook.
Select the file in Finder and hit the Spacebar. If the file is displayed properly, you can capture it as an image with Grab.app or by Shift-Command-4, > drag capture box.
Not knowing the complexity of your document, it's difficult to say what you should do next. I'd submit the graphics to an OCR application and extract the text, to be used in reconstructing the original document.
