My apple TV is connected and has power but all of a sudden not working
I bought a new remote. (yes it's the correct one) I tried pairing by following instructions but I did not see the remote symbol on my tv screen. When I point it at the Apple TV and press the menu button, the light on the Apple TV blinks which tells me it's receiving signal from the remote. For some reason I can not get into the Menu to make any selections. Now the apple TV is on but in screen saver mode. When I press the remote it does nothing! It has been almost a month since I used it but I'm not sure that would effect anything. Help

try this.
get back into your router's settings and start deleting devices that are not connected to your router.
you can also delete the ones that are connected - they'll connect again.
on the DHCP side of it, increase the amount of users that can connect/log in to your router.
see if that sorts it out for you.

Help! My MacBook is all of a sudden not working past the login page. A white screen comes up that I cannot get rid of. I attempted a safe start up and that failed as well. It's a white screen where I have a mouse and when I click the volume buttons I can hear it working but nothing else just white. Please help.
Something you can try is resetting it all Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings. Or go to Settings > Store & sign out & log back in. Another thing you can do is restore your ipod. This has happened to me but the only thing i did was that i created a new account but try doing the things above i just told you. :)

you can troubleshoot by trying to connect it by an ethernet cable to see if that works for you before

I have a MBP which I used to connect to a Windows XP computer wireless using the smb server address feature in the Finder.
The thing is...it has been working for a couple of months with no problem. I sometimes take my Mac on the road and bring it back... when I'm ready to reconnect it, just go to the "recent items" under the Apple icon and reconnect.
But now, I get a long delay and I keep getting the message:
"Connection Failed"
The server "XXX.XXX.X.XXX" may not exist or it is unavailable at this time. Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again.
I've tried everything...the IP address is correct and the internet connection is working on both computers, so what's the problem?? HELP!!I'm trying to work through the same problem. For 8 months everything worked fine with the network, and then last week "can't connect to servers". So far I've been able to connect to my servers only after a restart. Not even sure how long the fix lasts.
I've got 3 PCs and my MBP on the network. No problems w/the PCs at all. In fact the other servers can connect to each other as well as my MBP. Unfortunately my network printer is on one of the PCs, so rebooting every time I need to print is wearing thin.
This is my first Mac after owning a dozen or so PCs. I'm used to the ctrl-alt-del dance but was hoping for better from Apple. Everything else is great w/the Mac. Don't know why I waited so long to switch. -

it looks like that picture (shreenshot). but i could not change anything...all the tools on the left site are also missing. a update via adobe extension manager did not help too.

Thunderbolt display has power but no picture and no USB power
I've had my TB display working well with my Macbook for a while with no problems. This morning I started up the MacBook but the display didnt respond and the USB ports do not seem to be working. Keyboard and mouse both work when plugged directly into the MacBook but not when connected to the display. The MacBook is charging from the display so it has power, but nothing else seem to be working. Any ideas, or am I looking at taking it in to the local store for repair?

DBFirst try 'resetting' the Display by disconnecting it from mains for about 15 minutes and then plugging it back in. I've only had the problem that you describe once and this was the 'fix' for me.

I myself, two days ago purchased a 2nd hand iPhone 5 that was advertised as having a line of squares at the bottom of the screen. I Googled it and found people saying it was a screen issue and to replace the screen, so I did this and it is still happening with a new screen.
I am starting to dislike Apple intensely after reading forum posts and watching videos where people are asking for help and telling us about issues that they are having with their phones.
Why is Apple getting it so wrong with their updates and manufacturing that they are completely destroying iPhones that cost a lot of money and then expecting the owner to purchase another phone unless they are still in warranty.
Apple you should be going out of your way to put things right for people but instead there is a wall of silence over so many of the issues destroying peoples phones.

My iPod touch was recently stolen and I have been trying to find it on iCloud but sadly it has not connected to the internet at all so I have not been able to track it.What should I do?
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

My iphone 6 connects to the car via bluetooth, the music works good, but the phone calls does not work. It looks like it is working but doesn't. I have tried in my Hyundai Sonata and a Dodge Dart rent car and get the same results. I updated the last 8.0.2. It worked the first day i had the phone, and then i updated to Ios 8.0.2 and it quit working.
Now when i get in the car, it acts like it is connected and makes the same call it was on after syncing to bluetooth, but it really isn't on a call. This is happening on both cars.
Does anyone know if this is the phone and i need to take it to Apple or if there is an issue that Apple is working on getting a fix for?
My son in law has the exact same phone as me, we both got the on 10/6, he had a Dodge Dart and his is working via bluetooth.
Someone HELP please, as i consider this a safety issue by not having my calls go to bluetooth.We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE! After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!

I just put Facetime on my MacBook and Ipad. I can connect and recieve video but no sound. The other person can hear me. If I use Skype everything works fine. I can't find any where in Facetime to change settings for the audio. Any suggestions
