My apple tv is stuck on the home page and won't respond to the remote
My hockey puck apple tv is currently on the home screen with Movies highlighted but i cant use it with any remotes... I've paired two remotes to this apple tv and now it doesnt respond to any of them except for the blue light that blinks whenever i press a command on the remote...
Your Apple TV may have become paired with another remote. Hold the remote close to and pointed at the Apple TV, hold down the menu and Rewind buttons together for 6 seconds or until you see a broken chain icon on screen.

How do I open a new FireFox browser window to the home page and url filled?
win 7 64-bit, firefox 5 open new window no url. When I have firefox open and open a new browser window, the new window does not open on the home page and no url is present in the address field. If I click on the favicon in the address field, the url of the current page will automatically fill in. The forward and backward arrow buttons remain disabled. In addition, links opened in a new window cause a new browser window to open, but the linked to website is not displayed in the new windows. What is displayed is a new window completely blank with no url in the address bar. I tried to include troubleshooting information by clicking on the copy to clipboard, but apparently the character count was exceeded.
I disabled all plug-ins and extensions. the problem has been resolved. Now I will enable each one individually to find out which one was the offender.

That is a bug, so you need to wait until this get fixed.

I just got the new itunes and I can open itunes and see my music but whenI try and go to the itunes store it just loads to a white page. I try and refresh and go to the home page and nothing happens. I can sign into my account and the tabs for the itunes store pop up like they normally would when browsing the itunes store but when I click on one of them, it is a blank page. Is there a setting I need to change? Does it just take an extremely long time to load? Please help!!

I was on an online course website, logged in and working on an assignment. Suddenly the page disappeared and was not on the tabs either. I went to the home page and tried to log back in and it said I was already logged in on another browser window and if I proceeded to log in again the assignment I was working on would be ended and I would receive a zero. I can't locate the browser window that I was signed in on. I have website that on the Home page and the home only. When opened in Chrome or Safari the last 3 menu buttons do not work. But work fine in Explorer and Firefox.Its weird. The site is baystatewiring.com see if you have the same problem. Does anyone have a idea?

So, I made the mistake of updating Garageband 09 to GB 11 without exporting my songs first. When i try to open one of them it freezes up and won't respond then the program crashes.... any ideas?

Move to the desktop or rename the com.apple.Safari.plist
Found in your User/Library/Preferences/
Finder>Go>Go to Folder (copy and paste:)
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
Quit and restart the browser. The default plist will be rebuilt. See if this sorts your problem.
If no you can always put back the original plist, no harm done. -

As the user types in the absolute path of the request on the address bar , he any how manages to see my source code of the html (view source) thereby the applet tag .
Can't figure it out, how to hide the source code of the bottom frame .
I read that its possible with redirecting it to some other page , but how will i know that user is not calling from the home page

Thank'sYou can set up a javascript to prevent someone viewing the page source, but anyone web-savvy will be able to switch off javascript and see it anyways.
You could also add a request value to the second page so that you have "<a href="page.jsp?parameter=00a">" and if the parameter is not set the page will not show. That is a bit of a hack but would probably work.
Basically, don't put anything too security dependent on the client site, because once it is run on someone's computer they have access to it.

Photos in iMovie project float on a GREY background in iDVD widescreen.
I created a iMovie using photos. They are standard 4:3 ratio. When imported into an iDVD widescreen template (which is what I want), the photos have GREY bars on each side. Is there any way to change those bars to BLACK?
