my apple tv seems to have hung up during the latest software update - what should I do now?
I have not turned it off but it has been stuck in the same spot for 30 minutes now and I'm not sure what to do next since the screen says to NOT turn it off until done. Please help.
If it hangs much longer you may need to disconnect and then grab a micro USB to restore through iTunes

Over The Air updating came with iOS 5 so you do have to update using iTunes.
I would recommend always updating using iTunes, my personal and very unscientific resrearch into the problems that many people have with updates and then having poor battery life and wifi issues indicates that the common thread among them and not being able to resolve the problems seems to be updating OTA. I would always update using iTunes. -

My iTunes library will not completely sync to neither my iPad nor my iPhone -- both are completely updated with the latest software. What do I have to do?? When I try to do the "autofill" option when connected to iTunes it says "no songs can be copied"...I literally bought some of these songs yesterday on my iPhone and now I can't sync them to my iPad. What is this issue? Usually I would just have to plug either device into iTunes and everything would sync, now nothing new syncs.
On your iPad tap Settings > Store
Switch Books off then back on then reset your iPad.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. -
my phone has locked after updating , what should i do now to unlock ? now i don't live in usa ,i live in Bangladesh and i don't have that sim that i used to . i want to use Bangladeshi sim .
The phone was hacked to unlock it. It relocked when you updated. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it. If you are not/never were an AT&T customer and you do not have an original store receipt from either an AT&T or Apple store in the U.S. for a no commitment AT&T iPhone, they will NOT unlock it.
Buy a new phone. -
It seems after the latest software update, my iphone 4 has issues with the phone and voicemail locking up as well as opening random apps. Any thoughts?

I'm trying to update to the latest software update 5.0, but won't let me do it. I have done a restore and tried again but still no luck. Any advice?
The Original update for Apple TV was to 4.4 then a bugfix appeared called 4.4.1 Both of these have issues so Apple Pulled them and currently 4.3 is the current version for Apple TV IOS. In fact there are a number of comments in other threads where people carried out the upgrades only to restore back down to 4.3 because they did not work. Guess we will wait for Apple to send out an update.

Since installing the latest software update I have been unable to access my mail app.the screen appears blank?
Force close the mail app and reset your iPad. See if that fixes it.
In order to close the mail app, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the mail app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
My Facebook was hacked and as I only access it through my iPhone 4 or my iPad is there any other security measures I can take to prevent this happening. I have the latest software updates.
Facebook security is handled by Facebook, not the phone or Apple. Contact them.

I am being asked for an old Appled ID when launching Apps following the latest software update.
AAfter the latest software update on my iPad, I'm being asked to sign in to an old Apple ID when launch Apps. How do I fix this without deleting and downloading the Apps again? I have had Apple ID problems with this software version.
IF you still have the email address that you used for th old ID, you should continue to use that ID. Purchases are always tied to the ID that was used to make the purchase. Any problems that you are experincing with the iOS should have no bearing on your Apple ID and the ID doesn't have any effect on what is going on with the iOS.
If you can be more specific as to what the problem is, maybe someone can help. -

Cr2 files won't open I have PS CC and the latest CR update available.
I have a Canon Rebel XS, a fairly old camera.
It writes a cr2 file and PS won't open it.
PS shows a link tat says update CR and I have the latest update available.
Running PS CC and have the latest update.
MBP OS 10.9.3 with the latest CR update.
Does anyone have an answer for this prob?

Hi - it depends on how old your iPhone is. Is it fairly new or if its less than 28 days old you can bring it back to the store if bought through one of the common networks. I had an earpiece problem when I bought mine after just 10 days or so, I couldn't hear anyone through the earpiece and exchanged in store for Free.

Help. I recently downloaded the latest software update for on my Apple TV (per the prompt Apple TV gave us). Ever since downloading the update, we cannot access movies, play movies, or access iTune store. We can play YouTube videos so the problem is not related to the connection. It happens only when we are trying to access Movies. Very confused. Our AppleTV was working fine until I did the new software update. Now this problem! Help!
