My apple tv was working fine, but then it started freezing and it takes up to 26 hours to download a movie (it used to take a few minutes). Now it shows my rented movie, but I get an error when I try to play it. Is that normal?
Is anyone else facing a similar problem? How can i fix it?

If you are in fact getting 6MBPS then yes, unless there is ISP throttling taking place.

The MOV file extension simply refers to the file container. In this case, the MOV file container is the "generic" QT container that may contain any valid audio/video compression combination compatible/support on the system that created the file. For instance, if the movie was created on a system with FCP installed on it, that originator of the file may have used a compression codec not available on your system if you do not also have this application installed. The same holds for similar codecs like MPEG-2, DivX, XviD, WMV, etc. In some cases the codec may even be a legacy codec which will run in QT 7 but not the QT X player app.
In short, your best approach is to determine what audio and vide codecs are involved and then see if they are supported on your system. You can normally do this by checking the Finder Info window for the file or opening it in an alternative media player that supports playback and checking that app's media info window. For instance, the VLC media player supplies its own codecs and therefore does not rely on your system's QT component configuration. -

I'm getting a 42110 error when I try to play my rented movie from the istore. I've downloaded the movies twice but it's saying they aren't downloaded !

Can you load a webpage in Safari with that wifi connection? If so then it's a problem with the iTunes Store app connection. If not then your wifi isn't fully functional and you need to troubleshoot that first.

My Acrobat Pro IX license was activated and was working fine. Then the application stop launching after an update was by Adobe. After a while I uninstalled the application successfully, logged on to my adobe account, viewed past purchases, re-downloaded the application successfully, activated the license and entered my serial number. The next day I get a pop up message that my trial licenses is set to expire in 29 days. I clicked again to activate my license and this time, the message stated that the license for serial number has been revoked.
How do I resolve this matter?

My iPod Classic was working fine all day. Came home and uploaded 2 files via iTunes, now there is no sound coming from my iPod. I've tried both headphones and a docking station......nothing. The songs don't even engage, they skip to the next one. I've tried rebooting the iPod and still nothing. Any ideas?

Have you tried resetting the PMU?
I'm not optimistic that this will help any more than the procedures you've already tried, but it won't hurt to try.
Do you still have your OS 9 installation? If so, try booting into OS 9 and see if the problems with the audio are happening there, too. If so, you can bet it's a hardware problem.
How big is your hard drive and how much space remains available on it? If you don't have your OS 9 installation in order to check out whether it's a hardware problem and you have enough available hard drive space, you may want to try an Archive and Install of the OS in order to make sure it isn't an OS X system-wide problem. If that doesn't do it, you could back up your hard drive and restore your software.
All of this may just be spinning your wheels, but it's all stuff you can try before shelling out a lot of money for repairs. -
AFTER DOWNLOADING THE LATEST VERSION OF ITUNES, I CAM GETTING AN ERROR WHEN I TRY TO OPEN IT. MSVCR80.DLL WAS NOT FOUND. UNABLE TO LOCATE COMPONENT. BEFORE I REMOVE THIS VERSION AND TRY TO RELOAD AGAIN, JUST WANTED TO BE SURE I WOULDN'T LOSE ALL 200 PURCHASED SONGS ON MY PC.
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I'm trying to extract audio files from my OLYMPUS Digital Voice Recorder VN-6200PC
I am getting this error whenever I try to play its file type on my MacBook Pro,"The document “VN622195.WMA” could not be opened. The movie's file format isn't recognized."The mac has no native way to read .wma files (these are Windows Media Audio files). Do a search on the internet for playing wma files on a mac. You will find several links to solution (one is to use flip4mac).

Try to go to Settings and then Store. Tap to your Apple ID and select View Apple ID. Now choose to check your payment information and when you're done tap Done. I had to rewrite my three digit code of the credit card and now it works.
Oh, I also activated Genius for Apps but I don't think it makes any difference.
